When we arrived server took a while to come to the table. It locked very empty so didn't understand the reasoning on that. Food was decent however I don't like when businesses charge weird fees on the final check. AC wasn't cooking either. Charging me a "public user" fee and not being clear on what it's for when a customer asks for it is ridiculous. And then them getting an attitude when I ask about it is more insane. The interior looks like a low grade ship wreck, and I don't mean that in a bad way. The wait isn't usually too long and the service is at times, dare I say, impatient. We got seafood wasted!! I haven't been anywhere close to the beach in at least three years, so this was overdue. I received a tip from our hotel front desk that this was the place to go if I wanted great seafood, and they did not lie. My friend and I devoured 2 pounds of crab legs and shrimp along with corn and potatoes. Also, we got their hush puppies with dipping sauce and oysters on the half shell. From the food to the atmosphere and staff, this is a great seafood restaurant. I get it, there are thousands of seafood restaurants in the area. So why choose this one? The decor transports you to a seaside nook that has all the markers of a seaside venue, except for the fishy smell (they do let you right on the wall, which I think is cool). The food is reasonably priced and delicious. We did not leave there regretting our decision or feeling like we could eat more. Go, I promise that you will not regret it. So good! I was determined to find a good crab place in the Melbourne area & this is it! I had the boil with snow crab with medium "the boom" seasoning. It was everything I thought it'd be. Where to start...we were seated right away, the waiter came over right away. Took our drink orders. One Shock Top beer and one Pinot Grigio which is white, I got Pinot Noir which is red. He apologized and brought the correct wine, unfortunately it was room temp. The fried calamari did not come with anything. We ordered fries with both our orders. The fries were good the calamari must have come from the frozen food dept of the grocery store and they were room temperature. The marinara sauce was straight from the fridge, ice cold. In summation, management, teach the servers how to pronounce the wines they serve so they can serve the correct one. From the outside it does not look too inviting. Once you enter you are greeted by a friendly host and the place is much nicer than you could ever imagine. Its a large layout with comfy looking chairs at the tables which can seat at least 6 people. There quite a few booths available which were very comfortable. Our service Atia was very much on point, she checked on us quite often which was great . The lemonade was quite good, l ordered a fried shrimp basket with onion rings. What l loved about the spot us that us mainly a boil restaurant but you can get fried food as well. My shrimp were nice and big, fried to perfection and those were the best onion rings l have had in years literally. I am shocked that as Atia said "you devoured everything ". Lol. Everyone else in my party had shrimp boils. After a taste or two of their shrimp boils, l would of devoured that as well. There were quite a few varieties of flavors for the boils and they all looked good. I even managed to take a before and after pictures. This is yet another great spot and is on the hit list. Now the bad: Everything else!! The margarita was ALL sour mix, no alcohol ( in a small glass for $12). We sent that back! The fried shrimp was obviously frozen shrimp with a ton of breading, (no seasonings), fried until rubbery. I discovered the Crafty Crab (which made me think of the Krusty Krab in Spongebob Squarepants for some reason) merely by happenstance. Prior to it becoming a seafood bake place, it used to be a Japanese hibachi and sushi restaurant. Whenever I hung out next door at the BC Cupcake Cafe (where the DA Cupcake Boutique is now), I would order a boat of sushi every now and then to split with my friend and baker of the place Chris. Needless to say, I was intrigued to check it out because I never eaten at a seafood bake restaurant before though I had seafood bakes previously. Upon entering, you will be treated by a harbor theme. Though said theme does make the place look grimy like a harbor, it is actually very clean. Apparently, the first wave of customers were allowed to immortalize their presence by writing their names on certain walls and architectural fixtures. Depending on the person, this is either a personal touch or tacky. We took our seats and made our orders of a seafood bake for two (I split it with my friend Patrick) and some other dishes. I also ordered calamari because I always check out all calamari dishes everywhere I go if said dish is available. It was okay. The seafood bake however was worth it. You get a huge back with snow crab legs, crawfish, shrimp, mussels, clams, potatoes, and corn. It was spiced to order (in which there are numerous spicing options) and was cooked well. Where it can become a bit of a turnoff is the price. The lunch specials are fine but the specialty seafood bakes range from $20 to $60 depending on what you want. Just make sure you are willing to drop a bit of moolah if you come here and want the full experience. Besides that, a solid experience for a new restaurant. I will definitely stop by here again if I am in the area and hankering a seafood bake. read more

Located in a strip mall of nicer national shops. I can't believe how flavorful and delicious the seafood was. I was eating it with my hands with the sauce dripping on my cheek, I'm sure of it. It was pricy, but completely worth every dollar as a special meal. It was about $18-30 dollars for single and double variety bags of delicious crab, shrimp crawfish lobster and clams. Each bag comes with a corn on the cobb and two potatoes. Sooo good. The drinks were tasty and the service was professional and attentive. Plenty of space between parties for social distancing.
