I think this place is just good enough to not complain; it's kinda overrated. Staff were nice to be honest, maybe it's a reason why lots of review were 5 stars. Crawfish was not so fresh, the shells were soft which means they're frozen (they didn't mention about it on the menu). Which is also make sense that the crawfish is only make it to the add-on list. Don't miss it as we literally almost did. On a small street off rt 1. Small spot with inside seating, very friendly people and delicious food. I found this place on yelp and we decided to try it for lunch. So you order at the counter, sit down and they come out and bring your food and drinks. There is a whiteboard of crab and shrimp prices as this is a seafood market as well. I had the shrimp and grits that was so tasty, the sauce was just perfect on top. I couldn't finish it but it was great the next day! My husband had the gumbo and enjoyed it to the last drop. Highly recommend this hidden gem of a spot for homemade seafood dishes. The shop itself is a little hidden and could use a bigger sign to draw more attention. Crab cake, ONE, was good but really should've received two cakes. Other items we got were...good. Time to get food was pretty long wait, not gonna lie. Just 3 person order. But friendly enough staff. Maybe they were a bit understaffed (like 4 workers instead of 5?). Zero ambiance inside basically, no biggie but certainly not receiving any for the pricing. I guess we would go here again...but our better restaurant in the Melbourne Beach area was Ichabod's by a good amount. Be careful when buy the lump crabmeat. advertised as $48 pound, but there is only 12oz of crabmeat in the containers. When I called the owner to complain, he said the crab meat is hand picked, and they just fill the containers, but do not pack the crab meat in tight. so Basically you are paying $64 a pound. read more

The Snow Crab was great, the garlic butter sauce was great, and the Dorn & potatoes were great. The girl at the counter who checked on us every so often was awesome (Bria). Seat yourself in the small dining area. Brea brings out the carcass bowl, seafood utensil and forks. Napkins are the paper towels on the table.
