Pricing was in my opinion better than most salons I've been to in the Atlanta area. Front desk staff was polite and kind. I was seen on time. Jailyn did my haircut and was excellent! Listened to what I wanted, more than comfortable shampoo experience and a great result I was more than happy with. She was very friendly without pushing for endless small task which personally is a big plus for me. Will definitely be back. Salon is very clean, modern and pleasant to be in. (Which is why I was back a couple times for my pink color touch-up's) This extended release hair breakage helps their case to blame the damage right back on you. The salon offered to have a different stylist fix it, and that stylist was great. Left with the color I like. She did mention their product line tends to "come out warm," though. Still 4 stars because the salon has you go through the front desk for booking if you're not an established customer/you don't get the same thing every time. Front desk employee looks at the photos you send and then determines what the stylist will be doing, which was wrong on both the initial appointment and the fix (eg. booked me for a balayage, I wanted traditional thin highlights. Then booked for a toner, but I also wanted them to break up the chunky yellow pieces from first stylist). Could get confusing with a go-between person and not just stylist and customer, although I'm sure it's smooth on plenty of occasions! I appreciate their quick fix. Did not appreciate the attitude from the first stylist when I told her it was too warm before she even blow-dried it. read more

Zac changed my life!! I got my hair done by him 1.5 weeks ago and I'm still very much in love with it. Okay so i got the "itch" to do something drastic-ish to my hair a couple of weeks ago. I haven't had a professional touch my hair in almost ten years i think. I've been cutting it here and there and put some blonde in the ends sometimes and I've just been so nervous to get it "done" you know. So i booked an appt with Zac. Boy am i glad the universe allowed him to be available because he did his thing!! Booking with Zac is booking more than a hair service...it's a whole experience. He is so warm and kind and makes really great conversation. I genuinely enjoyed the two hours i was there purely for the company! I wasn't exactly sure about what i wanted but he talked me through it and really delivered on the desired outcome! He explains things as you go and is just so damn attentive. Bre is amazing! I came in for a simple cut and wash, and ended up with these lovely layers and curls. The location is clean and took proper covid protection. There was hand sanitizer at the entrance, everyone wore masks, and clients were spaced out. Definitely come and give her a call! Good luck for anyone on this salon's pitiful confusing website . Each little thing you must click or you are out of time . They expect a client has gone to beauty school and knows the processes that are hidden and god forbid if you left one out . Once you book they email and text you to death at least 4 texts and 4 emails and phone calls. To confirm then you have to confirm the confirm . Then some thing to e-sign on a color a waiver . Geez I just wanted a color and highlights . The front desk threw to me a cape but I had to change in the front waiting room . They called to have me come in later because Chesyl was running behind . I get there have to wait and was brought back to the chair and was asked "what do you want to do with this hair ?". She said I should have uploaded a picture so they knew what to do . When I explained the color base and highlights tge women wasn't listening and was going to just match my color now which was oxidized from summer . She rudely informed me that it was my fault that I checked color and pull thru . This looked like highlights and base color box to me . I'm a designer not a hairdresser. So all my efforts to get there and she looks at me and says I can do a haircut do color another day . I do not want a cut today , I have someone for my cuts. I wanted base color and pull thru highlights . The attitude of Cheysi was just unprofessional unorganized . If you are and older person please don't go here . It's an ageist uncomfortable treatment attitude in this salon . The worst . I chose her because she said she liked to make people feel good . Well if you want to come out crying go to this salon and get Cheysi. The front staff could use some manners and get it together with pleasing people and trying to make things work . Don't throw people a smock and have to change in the waiting room in front of people . Don't go here if you are over 50 . You will be treated differently than young clients . I've gone to this salon over several years. I went for some time and did not do anything to my hair and recently went back after some time. Ashley did a cut and color and the original color was a bit different than what I expected. I loved the cut. I realized that changes in my hair may have affected the color, but the color was not what I expected. I mentioned the differences in a review and was contacted immediately by the salon. I went back and Ashley took time to add more highlights to make sure it was what I wanted . I cut really is the best cut I have ever had. The color looks great and I've received so many compliments on my new look ! Ashley is very personable and an excellent stylist. I am a thirty-something male with thinning hair that wants to pay a little extra to get something more than the local barbershop or Great Clips offers. Since Stewart & Company is an Aveda Salon, I have certain yet simple expectations. In short, I want a decent cut & want to feel pampered. I was looking for my hair home in Atlanta, and I think I have found it. Suzanne did my hair color and Joelle did my haircut. I'm so impressed with how skillful both these ladies are. I also love how both of them focused on what I wanted, and the styles, lengths, cuts, colors that I liked - as opposed to telling me what they thought I should go for. Suzanne is such a lovely person - warm, personable, and great to talk to. I'm not someone that enjoys going to the salon, and I tend to push it when it comes to making my haircuts/color go longer. I dread the number of hours that it usually takes to color/cut etc. I tend to think of it as a chore and I'm always thinking of the ten other things I could be doing instead. But Suzanne actually made it a fun experience for me. She has a great knack for picking the right colors that would "click" for you. She also pleasantly surprised me by asking what I wanted, and what colors I usually liked. She then explained her plan of action to me in detail, made sure it was exactly what I wanted, and proceeded with the coloring process. She also made sure she explained every step to me, just so I knew what was going on. And when I look at what she did with my hair color, I'm convinced that she's an artist! Joelle is also super talented, and so swift with the shears. She understood exactly what I was looking for, and gave me a haircut that was the perfect blend of what I personally preferred, and what suited my face type the best. Also, a welcome surprise was that she wasn't one of those hair stylists that are constantly urging you to go for a shorter crop in the name of summer, regardless of what your own individual preference was in terms of your hair length. The salon is situated in a strip mall in Buckhead, and is easy to miss. But it's actually a convenient location and is easy to get to even if you're driving down from a distance. A special mention also needs to be made of the excellent customer service - right from the front desk staff, to the stylists, to the salon assistants. A shout-out to Jasmine and Alec here - they are both great! Plus, as a follow-up, in addition to an immediate email survey, the salon sent me a hand-written note in the mail a week later from the colorist and the stylist - I thought it was a great personal touch, and can't remember the last time I came across a salon that did that. If you're looking for a hair makeover and are looking for a new go-to hair salon, this is it. I'm actually looking forward to my next hair appointment - and as a beauty salon-hater, I can't believe I'm saying that. read more

While its a little more expensive than I would like to pay for a haircut, Lisa is well worth it. Not only has she done amazing things with my hair cut and color, but she also is well worth the $14 eyebrow wax - far better than the $8-9 you'd spend at a nail salon. The salon itself is small and intimate, and the entire staff is genuinely friendly. Lisa is out on maternity leave until just before Thanksgiving, but she reassured me that, unlike last time she went on maternity leave, she feels one hundred percent confident in all of her coworkers to handle all of the services.
