We hired Sergey and his team to move us from OC to LA and they did a great job!! They hustled and didn't try to lag or anything to get more time and they were even nice enough to hook up our fridge and washer/dryer at our new house without extra charges. They're nice guys and are very fair with pricing, unlike some movers who charge double drive time and round to the next full hour. These guys only rounded off about 4 minutes to the next half hour and only charge one way drive time. Also, they don't drive 20 mph like some companies who want to maximize their payout. Serge and his brother Paul came through for me! My mover, who I had booked and confirmed and the driver even said he was on the way....Flaked!! The dispatcher called and said they were not coming. I was referred to Serge and he booked that night at 5pm, even offered to do the job that night (Friday) but I decided Sat 8am was better, they came moved my 2 executive desks and 7 chairs, no scratches no dents. no problems. I recently came across Craigs Mover and was surprised by how many great reviews it received. I recently just got internet after moving from Irvine to Orange in the midst of finals season (I don't recommend it, if any of you were wondering), so I thought I'd contribute with a good word of my own. The guys showed up and quickly moved all of my furniture to the truck like it required little to no effort. I was even able to go run a few errands while they started moving my furniture into my new place, and by the time I was ready to pay them, they were already done! Well..I found my movers for sure. I initially responded to other ads before I found Serge and couldn't believe what I was hearing as far as price, minimums, information different than what was posted in mover's ads etc . It was horrible Fortunately I found Serge. He responded to my email immediately, followed up with a phone call, freely and truthfullly answered questions... a totally different experience. He called to say they were on the way. He called to see how things were going. Both movers were polite and hard working. I was moving a very small studio apartment but was made to feel like I was paying them for a 3000 sq ft palace. They got lost, but texted immediately to let me know. I wholeheartedly agree with the other 5 star reviewers. Serge is the best! I found a cabinet on Craigslist (here I go again with the preowned stuff!!). It has that beautiful coastal look that I love and I've never seen another one quite like it. The one problem, it's in San Clemente! Why, oh why, does everything that's bulky and that I love have to be in San Clemente?? Is all the good Craigslist stuff in San Clemente?? OK, we have a pickup truck, but it has less than stellar tires. It gets driven once a week for 1/4 mile, so replacing the tires is not high on my priority list. I just was not mentally prepared for a white knuckle trip to San Clemente on sketchy tires. Enter Serge. This company had such good reviews that I took the plunge. So glad I did. I'd called another company advertised on Craiglist, that was a little cheaper, but they had such bad reviews. I wanted my cabinet in one piece, not a pile of kindling dumped on my porch. Serge is a real professional. He has great communication skills which can never be underestimated and he really cares about your item. He treated it like it was going into his own home. I can't tell you how much I appreciate that. Not a dent, ding, scratch or blemish was put on my cabinet. If I hadn't found Serge of Craigs Movers OC, I would have had to pass on an item I desperately loved. Either that, or I would have ended up taking a Mr. Toad's Wild Ride down to San Clemente, knuckles and jaw clenched, me, the tires and the brakes screaming and screeching the whole way, arriving with my blood pressure sky high, my fingernails bitten down to their stumps and sporting an Albert Einstein hairdo. BE CAREFUL OF THE BAIT AND SWITCH!!! Was very hopeful after reading all the glowing reviews. This is not one of them. Was quoted a specific price for our move. Part of our belongings going to our new place and part going to a storage facility. The guys did a great job, worked hard and were very pleasant but when it came time to pay we were charged almost DOUBLE THE QUOTED PRICE! We were then told that the initial quote was for three hours and anything after that three hours was an additional hourly charge. This was the first time we had heard about any additional hourly charges! Including what I received from Serge in writing. We were so exhausted and it was so awkward fighting about payment with someone over the phone while the workers are standing there, my husband paid the full amount, gave the workers a nice tip and thought we would straighten it out with Serge later. I have had no response to my phone message or the emails I have sent. If you decide to use this mover make sure you have full disclosure from them regarding additional charges and don't expect a response if you have a problem. read more

He was patient and was able to accommodate a short notice move date of Wednesday (today). He maintained constant communication on his arrival time, and Serge & Charlie (2 movers for a 2 bedroom household) were able to move out my mother's items in a reasonable time. I have to say I think that they were very efficient, and they helped make sure there was space left in my mom's storage unit so we could fill more stuff in it. They were very organized. So I turned to Craigs Mover again last minute - called them at 6:30pm to move a giant fridge from one loft to another - they volunteered to come the same night if it worked better for me, which it did. They arrived promptly at 8:30 pm and soon discovered that the fridge was too wide to go up the 18 steep stairs. It is a very expensive fridge with fancy electronics and water lines etc. but Serge carefully removed the doors and disconnected the lines and connectors - got it upstairs and then reassembled everything, hooked it up to the water line etc. These guys are not just delivery men - they are super skilled, fast and think on their feet.
