Wow! I came here because I was sick of going to bargain salons and having my hair messed up. I read the Yelp reviews, and they were right on. I got my hair cut by Bethany. She was really nice, and listened to what I wanted. She took time to explain different products that might help my hair, and really wanted to understand what I wanted in the cut. She even curled my hair, which she normally doesn't do, but I really appreciated it. She also recommended a good threading place, since I told her about my last terrible experience. Price was reasonable for the cut and color. Will definitely be going back. read more

I have been going to Annie Gill for three years and she is phenomenal! She does amazing cut, color and style and extensions! I started going to this salon about 3 years ago when I was in the process of switching hairstylists and a friend recommended Claudia's services. The minute I walked in I was offered refreshments , etc. They are all very friendly here and accommodating. I told Claudia what I had in mind and she came up with something totally stylish and in style to the current year's trend while matching my idea. She is not only very talented at what she does but she is efficient ,because everyone knows time is precious and we all have busy schedules! The price is decent and affordable. They also sell cool merchandise and products that are fun to look at and are affordable. I changed my hairstyle again about a year ago and she once again did amazing job meeting my ideas with the current trends and styles. I found Cranberries on Yelp and as they're just around the corner from me, I decided to give them a try. I got an appointment with Bethany who did exactly what I wanted with my hair, which is something new for me. She does a combination of a wet and dry cut so there were no surprises after leaving the salon. Definitely ask for her if you decide to go to Cranberries. After my last two haircuts at "Super Mega Corporate Haircut-type Place" (tm) were abysmally awful (after the last, I bought some clippers and shaved my head in shame), I decided it was time to find an actual Salon where professionals know what they are doing. I called on a Monday to see if there were any openings-- there was one available immediately so I ventured forth. Shaylene met me when I got there and she was just awesome. Professional, friendly, and, most importantly, excellent at what she does-- my hair looks great (the ladies at my workplace, notice that was ladies PLURAL, said my hair looked fantastic), I feel years younger, I've developed mysterious super powers and now can save the world from evil-doers. High prices, low quality. My 7 year old daughter and I went to this salon for Wedding hair do's. It was our first time. My daughter got a french braid crown around her head and I just got my hair curled with a curling iron for large curls. We did not get our hair shampooed, cut, or anything else. The hair dresser was nice enough, but did not talk to us very much the whole time. It took about an hour total, and our bill was $90, not including tip. I was shocked because of the simplicity of our appointment. I don't feel like it was worth $90. My curls flattened out within 2 hours after the appointment. I have had my hair curled with large curls before and paid more, but they lasted until the next day, the style was very nice, totally worth it. I don't mind paying more money on something that is worth it, but this was not. read more

AMAZING HAIR = BETHANY. I have been going to Bethany for years and I have never been disappointed in my hair. She does a fantastic job and is such a sweetheart. I moved away for over a year and had my hair done once while I was gone, I came home in tears because they ruined my hair. I am a blonde and I wanted darker highlights; the person ended up dying my entire head BLACK with small blonde chunks. I was devastated. I have been driving by this place for years, and decided to take a look at yelp to see if it could be an option to replace my current place which was great, but too far away. Cranberries had solid reviews, and I saw quite a few recommendations for Ian Cutrona. All I can say is I'm beyond happy with my experience there. Making the appointment was quick and easy. Ian greeted me and we talked about what I was looking for with my cut and color. I was immediately at ease with this guy. He delivered in every way, and at a reasonable price for the excellent experience he provided. He even brought me a diet soda. I talked with a few other stylists while I was there, and was struck by the friendly and attitude-free environment. Ian Cutrona is a miracle worker!!!! I found him quite a few years ago, and he is finally "The One" who does BOTH great color AND a great cut!!!!!!!! How often does this happen ????!!!!!!!! I have since moved to Northern California near Tahoe and I still wait to come down south to have Ian do my hair!!!!!!!!!! My one and only daughter now also goes to him and she looks amazing with his cuts and color on her!!!!!!!!! We both LOVE him! I normally go to Luca Bella in Anaheim Hills but got a high recommendation to try this place. Way over priced for highlights and a cut. I usually pay about $120. Claudia charged me $220. Claudia started me out and about an hour later she started on another person. I felt so ignored. I hate it when stylist double book. When she finished coloring my hair, I felt she was rushing me to get out of her chair since she had another client. She didn't even want to blow dry my hair out. Isn't that part of what you get when you get your hair done? She seem really bothered and kept making snide comments about blowing out my hair. And my highlights where way to light and uneven. They where lighter on my crown and as they came down to my ears the color was darker. Way over priced and the service I got wasn't worth the $220 I paid. read more

This review is for Ian only. I decided to cut off all my hair and do an undercut a la miley cyrus, however I went to a lady who had always cut my long layered hair beautifully, but probably wasn't up-to-date on the undercut / pixie look. I think she was scared to cut it as short as I wanted and I ended up with kinda a mop/justin bieber look...not my best moment. So instead of going back to her and letting her try again I decided to just find someone who knew the look I was talking about...which brings me to Ian. He was referred by a friend who said he'd get understand what I wanted and would give me exactly what I asked for. Part of the problem with the first time was that the she didn't think the haircut would look good on me and was trying to 'pretty up' what I wanted. Ian on the other hand told me what he thought would look good or bad and then went with my decision. The end result was awesome and I loved it and my cheap ass was happy to pay him the salon price (usually I avoid salons because I cant stomach spending so much on hair). The second time I went to Ian I left feeling like maybe I should have gone shorter. Then I got home and my family thought the same thing so I called him back and was able to schedule another appointment for the following week. When I came back in I told him I wanted just to shave it and he talked to me about lengths and made sure I was prepared and then did it :) He was nice enough to spend the time doing the longer length option and then after I saw it and still wanted shorter he did it over again. Ian definitely spent a lot of time with me talking about how exactly I wanted it to look and made sure I liked what he did (I ended up asking him to cut more here and there). As for the price, it was originally $50 for the cut but the re-cut he didn't charge me for which I really appreciated. I will definitely go back to Ian and would recommend him for anyone looking for something other than the conventional long layered look...although I'm sure he would be amazing at that too. read more

Love this place! I've been to all kinds of salons, receiving haircuts ranging from $30 to $65-70, and this place was moderately priced at around $60 and it was the best haircut I've gotten. Not only did it not take an excruciatingly long time (one of my haircutters used to take 2-3 hours), but Bethany gave me a haircut that framed my face nicely and was the length I requested. She also said that she cut my hair ends so that they would curl nicely. It has also grown out nicely, so that's always a plus. I will return! Ask for Bethany :) read more

I love Annie Gill! She is my life long partner in hair. So glad she moved closer to me! She's super sweet and knows how to cut, color, and style. She's not pushy like a lot of other hairstylists out there who try to tell you what you should do to your hair or just end up doing whatever they want (like cutting 5 inches off my hair when I tell you I'm growing it out is NOT how you treat someone...). I needed my hair cut before my business trip and was in desperate search for a salon that had a Saturday (last second) appointment. The stylist I usually go to at another salon was fully booked. Luckily I was able to get an appt at Cranberries Salon. The waiting area is just a waiting area, but hey as long as I get a good cut then I'm happy. I have long thick hair and I have been rather unimpressed with some of the work some stylist have done. I have never written a review about any of my hairdressers before, but I thought I should write one about Jen Schulz. I have had more compliments on my hair since she did it than I've ever had before. Friends of mine have decided to see what she can do for them, too. My hair always looks good, even when I don't curl it; a sure sign of a good cut. I highly recommend this stylist to anyone who wants their hair to look great (especially if you are like me and don't like doing your hair). She worked wonders with me!
