Really wanted to love this place. A lot quicker than going over the bridge to Piermont or Strictly…read more I went in and dropped off a brand new Specialized Tarmac SL8 frame for the shop to build up. They were to transfer my parts from my existing bike. All the guys at the shop were super cool and friendly and mechanic and I geeked out over 1x ratios. I felt positive that my bike was in good hands for the build. The build was quickly done and I go in the following Saturday to pick up the bike and again I was warmly greeted by everyone in the shop. Everyone is gushing over the bike saying how beautiful it is. I get home and want to prep the bike for my fathers day ride and I go to takeoff the warranty sticker on the downtube and I noticed someone has painted over a sizeable chip by the bottom bracket. I know it's the shop because there is touchup paint on my brand new ceramic bottom bracket. I call up on Monday and get the mechanic and he remembers me and I ask him why there was a chip on the frame. He admits he caused the damaged and it was due to paint on the BB. I really don't remember seeing any paint on the face of the bottom bracket but I will take his word. I asked, why he didn't face the bottom bracket then and he replied he could have created a crack all along the bottom bracket in the lacquer. Ultimately I ask him why he didn't call before he did the install, or after he did the install and it went wrong, or why didn't he mention anything when I came to pickup the bike let alone file a claim with Specialized? The kicker is, the touchup was so poorly done I rubbed away the paint with my finger. The mechanic kept asking what I wanted to do? He kept offering to do another touchup. IMO my experience was a combo of bad customer service and bad technique used. I standby the fact the bottom bracket easily could have been faced if there truly was paint overspray but if the shop didn't have the tools they needed to RMA it. I also was pretty pissed because they lost some of the hardware for my Roval Alpinist seat post on my other bike where I was transferring parts and even though I told the mechanic my chain was waxed, he went and oiled it up. I had to clean my who drive chain and reset my chain again. Beyond that the mechanic there was insanely rude. I was explaining why I was so upset, he cuts me off and says, "you are talking too much, what do you want". Well for one treat my bike like you would treat yours. Simply avoid this shop. This place isn't cheap and isn't worth the headache

Strong Warning - Hudson Valley Motorcycles…read more Please, before you even consider going to Hudson Valley Motorcycles, read the negative reviews. READ THEM ALL Because this is exactly what you will get. They are not anecdotal; they are what you will experience. No communication, arrogant, etc. My own experience lined up 100% with the bad reviews, and I'm honestly relieved I never let them touch my bike. Here's what you should know: The staff is dismissive and disrespectful. When I checked in the very next day after dropping off my Ducati, the shop manager snapped back with, "You only dropped it off a day ago." That kind of attitude says it all. After 4 days, I was told they had a lot of "recalls" come in so it would be another 4 or 5 days, and there were two more bikes ahead of mine. Had I not reached out, my bike would have just sat there, and who knows how many other recalls would have come in? I guess "recalls" are the equivalent of "dog ate my homework". The reviews repeatedly point out that their work is hit or miss. In other words, you might not only get treated poorly, you MIGHT also get shoddy work done on your motorcycle. The positive reviews? I can't say for sure, who wrote them sine employees and family can also add reviews. I am not saying they did but, who knows? Be aware. Even their responses to criticism show the same arrogance. One answer to a customer complaint was, "It's Westchester, so it's expensive." Let's be clear: Hudson Valley Motorcycles is in Ossining. Ossining is not Scarsdale, it's not Bronxville, and it's certainly not some high-end part of Westchester that justifies inflated prices. This shop is only seven minutes from my house, but I would never step foot in there again. I'd rather drive an hour to a shop that respects customers and stands by their work. If you want to know how you will be treated for service, watch the Seinfeld episode of "Soup Nazi"! NO SERVICE FOR YOU! Bottom line: If you value your motorcycle, your wallet, and your dignity, stay far away from Hudson Valley Motorcycles.

At no point should bolts randomly fling off your bike while you going down the Brooklyn bridge going 24mph. I'm a high school student and I had to pay for my bike with my own money. I've been working since 10th grade to help my mom because she is a single parent so for me the loss of about 5k including repairs leave me without transportation as I can not afford to repair it at this point. I've spent 3.7k on a bike, this isn't including the repairs i had to pay over the span of a year which amount to at least 1.4k+ after random bolts detaching and motor failing, and as soon as the warranty expired my bike had a random electrical issue where the bike wouldn't accelerate. From the owner Pete: OK, where are you going? (Direct email sent from owner) 1- Last Mile NYC replaces all of the electronics on your bike. The cost of the parts and labor is $2910.54 2- Send your bike back to Super73. They will do their own diagnosis, and determine the issues and fix the problems. Unfortunately your bike is not under warranty, the cost of packing up and freighting your bike to and from Super73 will be around $1200. Plus their diagnostic fee, parts and labor. It took them THREE WEEKS to complete rather simple maintenance on my bike and even still it wasn't completed. Cory had a TERRIBLE attitude and was a complete A hole through the entire process. They refused to give me a quote and charged me 1700$ for basic maintenance. The bike doesn't even run anymore and I have to take it to another shop. I have NEVER written a review for any establishment before until I came to this sorry excuse for a buisness. do NOT come here. You will lose THOUSANDS of dollars and time while dealing with people who have no idea what they are doing. When asked about my bike failing to turn over, he suggested I get new grips. There are not enough words to describe how terrible this shop is and I advise with the utmost urgency to avoid the place at all costs. In the time it takes for your bike to get back you could have fixed it yourself and could easily surpass the very limited knowledge this joke Cory has. DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE!!!!

Awful Experience -- Stay Away from This Bike Shop…read more I've tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt, but after multiple bad experiences, I'm done. The co-founder -- who seems to be the face of the business -- is consistently rude, dismissive, and lacks basic customer service skills. Today was the final straw. I came to pick up my bike after clearly telling their service rep I'd be in on Wednesday or Thursday. Instead of being helpful, I was met with attitude for not "calling ahead." I'm sorry, but I gave a window -- and you're closed Sunday -- so maybe don't take it out on your customers. Previously, she left me standing outside even though it was one minute before opening. Another time, she snapped at me for wanting to load my bike into the car before paying -- as if helping a customer ensure the product fits isn't part of the job. And when I finally spoke up about how I've been treated over the years, she literally told me she didn't like my tone. Not professional. Not acceptable. If you value good service, skip this place. Anyone know a better bike shop in Westchester? I'm in Ossining -- happy to drive 15-20 minutes for respectful, reliable service. Thanks in advance -- and seriously, avoid this shop if you don't want your day ruined. Look at this biz owner's response. This is how they treat customers. She basically told me she does not like my voice. Like how I speak. ___________________________________________ Owner's response below blaming me for getting g yelled at for not calling in advance. -after I told their service provider I would be in Wednesday or Thursday to bike up my bike. As soon as I brought it in, they immediately identified an uneven saddle that I hadn't realized (which turned out to be a cracked rail) in addition to a badly worn chain (which I did suspect). Very happy, rides as if new, and now have a place I trust for future work.
