My wife and I are from the Canton area. We drove to Dallas that day to look at 3 Grand Caravans, the first was going to be at Cransh. We were set to arrive at 6:30 and called to make sure they were open. They closed at 6 (our fault for not checking. most dealerships are open until 8 or 9), but after talking to Ernest about the specific vehicle we had our sights on and that we had cash with us, he told us he couldn't wait but that we could come tomorrow morning. We had babysitting for our kids so we got a hotel near Cransh and came back in the morning, met Ernest, test drove the vehicle, loved it and told him we wanted to buy it, AT WHICH POINT he told us about someone from Oklahaoma had put a deposit on it 2 days earlier and was driving down to pick it up, and offered to show us other cars. I was livid. After declining and leaving the dealership, he texted us telling us that on Monday (this was Friday) he would look for cars for us within our criteria and price point and let us know what he found. We consented. The following Friday rolled around without a word from him so I texted him about it. He texted back saying that Mr. Cransh was at the auction now and he'd let him know to look for one. 4 DAYS went by without a word; I texted him and let him know how I felt about how he did business, and that we would not be buying from them, and that we would be letting our friends know about our experience. So, there ya go. Now you know. I was told these people were different, but from everything we experienced, these guys are a lemon. They are the kind of people that give the phrase "used car salesmen" a bad name. Where do you go these days to avoid typical used car salesman???? Someone please tell me. read more

With the world being so full of dishonest people, having discovered a business with a staff that is as honest and compassionate as Cransh Auto, I just can't say enough about them, and felt the need to share another awesome experience. I wrote a review about a truck buying experience with Cransh, but today, I took my truck in for service, and was greeted by Ryan, the salesman that sold me the truck. Knowing this was a non-commission visit for him, he was just as kind and attentive to my needs, as he was the day of the sale. I also had the opportunity to meet the owner. He was so friendly, down to earth, very kind and very interested in making sure that I was satisfied, not only with the service today, but the vehicle itself, that I purchased back in July. He assured me that his door was always opened, and Cransh will go above and beyond to make sure the customers are pleased when they leave his dealership. When I discover something good, I have to share it. I would recommend Cransh to any of my loved ones or friends for vehicle purchases or repairs, and feel 100% confident they would be very pleased! Not only is Ryan knowledgeable of the vehicles in their inventory, he is very knowledgeable about mechanics in general, and will make sure that all issues with a vehicle, have been resolved and is in good mechanical condition, prior to you leaving their lot. UPDATE: Called the dealership and told them what was going on. They disagreed with 2 other mechanics about the cost of engine replacement. Cransh said it would be $2000, not $4000. They said we should have asked them to replace the engine for free. not sure if I should believe that or not. Cransh issued us a check for $500 as an olive branch of good intentions. The amount was not even close to $2000 or $4000. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Let the buyer beware! Bought a 2002 Chevy Prism for $3500. They do not budge on their pricing regardless of the mechanical condition, which was approximately $500 over Edmunds.com pricing for the car. We took the car to a mechanic near Cransh to check out the car. (btw, DON'T do the same mistake that I did. Those mechanics always seem to say the cars are ok, even when the car is not ok.) As other reviews will attest to, Cransh replaces belts, plugs, tires, changes oil, etc. to make the car LOOK good. They gave us a credit to have the car aligned. Seems like a good deal, right? However, things aren't always what they seem. 2 weeks after buying the car, the oil light comes on. This car burns oil. No leaks, no burning oil out the exhaust. Our mechanic said that #1 cylinder is bad, only had 25lbs of compression. Oil was leaking into engine. $4500.00 to replace. Word of advice, do not buy from them. As another Yelp reviewer said recently, 'they patch up major damage and then sell the car. I will never buy from them again.' Wish I would have read Walter O.'s yelp review sooner. read more

I bought a car from Cransh about 5 months ago. I looked at their inventory online and noticed a great selection of Honda and Toyota. When I got there I was welcome by one of the salesman named Ricardo. He was very polite and quickly guided me around the lot. He showed me some of his best deals and he let me take them for a test drive. He was never pushy and he answered all my questions with great honesty. He even offered me to take it to my personal mechanic for reassurance. With the unique service they provide I didn't feel the need to have a prepurchase inspection so I just went ahead and got started on the paper work on a 2007 Honda Accord which to this day has been a blessing. When I took the car home I had my husband check it out and he was very impressed on how clean it was and all the new parts they replaced. I was referred to Ryan by Matt from Auto Critic. Matt saved me from buying two bogus cars, and was a life saver for referring me to Ryan at Cranch Auto. I can't tell you how blessed we feel to have followed his advice. When we met Ryan he was absolutely friendly, knowledgeable and most of all he did't make us feel like he was in a hurry to sell us the first thing we liked. He took all of our "must haves" and showed us some nice reliable cars that still fit our budget. My husband and I took our time and we found the first car. We bought a Honda CR-V from them over a year ago. The experience was wonderful. This was an un-planned purchase as we were involved in a car wreck that totalled the car my daughter was going to take to college. My husband had several co-workers who had bought from them so when we saw they had what we were looking for my husband went & looked & purchased it. When we go almost home with it the tire sensors went off so my husband called them & we brought it back for them to fix. We waited several hours while they tried to find what the problem was with the sensors. When they couldn't get it figured out & had to order a new set of tire sensors they sent us home with the promise that they would fix & bring it to our home which is about an hour away. They got it all fixed the next day & brought it to use the next afternoon. We have never had a problem since other than Honda recalls. Came to this used car dealership looking for a car. Upon seeing their reviews online I wanted to check them out. I was greeted with a very friendly and helpful staff upon exiting my car. I was looking for a good gas saver seeing they had a pretty big selection. Was surprised to see almost everything I like plus some older vehicles with very low miles! It seems they do a full service on each of their vehicles which is a plus for me. Decided to go with a Honda Civic sedan. Many available and decided on one. Test drove and got to doing the paperwork to finalize the sale. I can say it was uplifting knowing how easy this was to do, especially with the service and staff. Plus did do my research on the vehicle and found out it was the best deal from other places for a similar car. I'm not the type to type such a long review but this experience was amazing. I hardly ever do reviews but this was a great car buying experience working with Ryan! He's honest and easy to work with. If your credit isn't good and you don't have a lot to put down like me then Ryan can definitely help you get into your next vehicle. He has a lot of cars to choose from and his mechanics go over all of them thoroughly before they are put out on the lot and actually replace important worn parts BEFORE the car is ever put out on the lot for sale. It was a hassle-free, easy car-buying experience. We have bought five starter cars from this dealership. The sales team is upfront about Carfax reports and test drives. After a favorable test drive, we take the vehicles to our mechanic for a thorough inspection. Whatever issues our mechanic has found, they either repair it or we look at another vehicle until we find the right one for us. This dealership has a lot of inventory. The first car we bought from Cransh had a major issue within the first two weeks, but they made it right and put a new engine in at no cost to me. Cransh is a nice, home-grown style of used car/truck/Jeep dealership. Easy to work with including friendly, no high pressure sales. Not to mention they have a huge parking area kept full of 100+ vehicles. They don't play games running back and forth with a 'manager' haggling over prices. Even better, Sam in the repair shop has been great for us, not only do I take the old Jeep I bought from Cransh to their repair shop, I also take my Nissan car and F-250 to them! Not sure about some of the poor ratings. I found a 2005 Mustang GT on line and asked Ryan questions about vehicle. He was easy to deal with and informative. I decided to drive from Lake Charles, LA to Arlington (435 mi) to inspect and possibly purchase the car. I found it in the condition it was represented on the website. The car was clean, straight, and in excellent shape for it age. I took it for a spin and found it tight and true. Everyone there was friendly and helpful before and during the purchase process. I have purchased a total of 4 cars from Cransh. Will probably purchase my next one there as well and definitely will for my son's first car. All cars were reasonably priced and ran very well. Even though they were used vehicles, they have all looked and ran like new. Helped a friend buy a car here. I was very favorably impressed. The salesman, Ricardo, was helpful and never pushy. He would bring out any car we were interested in. I liked that they had their own on-site repair shop. They put the boxes from the replacement parts in the trunks so you can see what they replaced. They had replaced parts that could have been left as problems for new owners, like suspension bushings and timing belts. These are mostly high-mileage cars so it's good to see them get good attention. They have a huge selection of cars. read more

Ryan is absolutely amazing! He sold me a 2013 Chevy Cruz. The car seems like it was well taken care. He printed off the carfax for me and assured me the vehicle was well maintained.
