Portions are slowly getting smaller and smaller however, prices are not also need to do some deep cleaning, especially the restrooms ladies (don't know how the men's look) . I can only imagine if the restrooms look like this how the kitchen looks when the customers don't see the kitchen.

The Cuban was very dry needed more mustard and the pork should be less dried out. The alligator bombs are very rich in flavor. Crunchy outside, but needed something to cut through that rich flavor. The border town salad is great. If I were to say anything just that the meat chunks could be bigger. The seared tuna was an amazing. Melts in your mouth, but a slight fishy flavor. Service was great, when we went it was very slow so that made it easier. The ambiance was nice well decorated also.

This is a surprising gem in St. Bernard Parish. It has some typical dishes, like burgers and fried seafood. It has some international dishes, like quesadillas and Cuban sandwiches. And it has some interesting fusion dishes, like the "Sushiritto" and Cajun edamame. I've eaten here a couple times now and haven't had a bad dish. The portion sizes are maybe a bit smaller than other dining options in Da Parish, but I still usually have a small to-go box at the end.

We caught our own fish and they fried it for us. The fish was full of flavor and so delicious and soft! Service was great! Our server was amazing. Thank you!

I got the shrimp and grits, which needed to be warmed up a little more but the taste made up for it all! It wasn't spice but had so much seasoning, the corn grits were cooked to the perfect texture. The shrimp were cooked just right also. Everything about this dish was top notch. I do think the serving could have been a little bigger but still amazing. I ordered a side of coconut rice and it was also delicious. Cooked perfectly, great subtle sweet coconut taste and I just added a pinch of salt to mine. My husband got the Cancun burger and loved it, he said it was one of the best burgers he's ever had. It was cooked medium as requested, seasoned well and the sauce that was on it really pulled it together. Hannah was our server and was so sweet and personable. Restaurant was clean and well kept. They had great weekend specials! We will definitely be back

My fiancée and myself stopped in for brunch on a Saturday. I got the stuffed French toast with berries. It was phenomenal and not too sweet! My fiancée got the Docville pasta (not pictured) it was delicious as well. The service was great. She checked on us several times even though they were really busy. The restaurant is a great option for brunch which is rare in the parish as well as a nice dinner. They have daily specials that fuse international with Cajun/creole. Highly recommend this place if you are ever down the road!

The Brunch at Crave is excellent. Chad has another winning combination of excellent food with a fun and friendly atmosphere for his customers. The owner/Chef is always at his restaurant and he is working alongside his staff, visiting with customers and keeping things going perfectly. He is so very dedicated to his business, staff, customers, family and customers. The Brunch menu is soooo yummy and versatile. So far we've been every Sunday and plan to try everything on the menu. I'm a m pancake girl and the strawberry and Blueberry pancakes are so light, fluffy and delicious with a strawberry or Blueberry compote and sprinkled with powered sugar and a dollop of homemade whip cream with a sprig of mint. Yummmm. I cannot wait for next Sunday to come because I'm CRAVING !!!!!!!

Described as one of Meraux's hidden gems Crave is the cure to all of your cravings! Asian bang bang shrimp, blackened Tataki, and sushiritto? Check. Down home comforts like crawfishthreetoufee? Check. Maybe you just want a salad or something deep fried. Check and check! Definitely a good experience all around. Though, come early and be prepared to wait especially during King Cake season. Why? Because they roll and deep fry their king cakes here! It doesn't make any sense how good and crispy this dish was. But at the same time, how have I not thought of this before. The king cake spring rolls was definitely my favorite bite of the night though you may want to proceed with caution. This dish is best served shared since one order might be overly indulgent on its own. Family oriented establishment and loud but that doesn't bother me since it's usually a sign of a good time.

    Border Town Salad

I brought my mom to try recently and she was blown away. We got the shrimp tacos, Alfredo, and spinach-artichoke dip...it's knockout every time! One of my fav spots in the parish.

Our dinner at Crave was a wonderful detour. We made the ride from the Westbank with plans to dine and enjoy live music at a restaurant in Arabi. But after being turned away because orders in the kitchen were backed up, we were forced to look elsewhere. Someone exiting the restaurant suggested Crave a few miles down the road in Meraux. Everything we ordered was delicious. We were a party of 5 and everyone ordered something different. We passed around and got a taste of 5 different entrees. Pasta Romero, Venezia Chicken, Thai MahiMahi, Fried Catfish and Cajun Cheesesteak Panini. All were delicious and did not disappoint with the only exception being the Panini which was on the dry side. I would definitely return and we are grateful to the people who made the recommendation to give them a try.

I read in one of the publications about a Filipino inspired absinthe bar on Bourbon St in N'Awlins…read more(entrance around the corner on Bienville). It was a must visit during my trip to N'Awlins. I had a Pernod absinthe, but I also sampled the longanisa patty sliders and Tatlo's version of pancit. The longanisa was crispy, and nicely seasoned. Likewise, the pancit had moist noodles and a nice flavor. This is bar food, so there wasn't much protein. In addition, I would have liked some lemon to squeeze on top. Tita was a super nice bartender/waitress. A Filipina bartender also stopped by to chat. The remainder of the staff was friendly & warm. Regarding the ambiance, its part of Old Absinthe House. It literally is an old house w/ the restrooms on the third floor. You have to walk up a circular staircase to get up there. I would definitely return to Tatlo (the number 3), the next time I am in N'Awlins. The vibe is chill, and the bar food is very good.

I was skeptical but after seeing some pics of the inside I'd decided to venture on over to bourbon street. I'm so glad I did. The experience as Tatlo was like no other place I've ever been. The decor when you walk in was sexy and vampy. There were candles all over the place and it smelled like Palo Santo and Sage (which I love). At one point there was a woman walking around saging the bar. My server (so sorry I can't remember her name) was sooo nice!! She had great recommendations and she checked on us often enough but not too often. At one point she brought us over a bowl of a dried herb with a candle and a marker. We were told to write down something we wanted to manifest and then burn it with a candle. I thought that was so cool. The food and drinks all had spiritual themes. My friend had the bubble bubble toil and trouble drink and that one said it was for protection. It came in a cool glass that she had to blow into to get the color of the drink to be uniform while the drink bubbled. I had the Florida water which was for energy clearing. It was well made. I really enjoyed it. Then I got the zodiaquiri, which I also really liked. For food we tried the special which was a deep fried soft shell crab dish with a creamy pasta. So good!! The crab batter was flavored to perfection. We also got the synergy dish which represented fertility, abundance, and growth. It was chicken adobo arancini. This was really good. The outside was nice and crispy and the inside was moist and flavorful. The last dish we had was Triquetra which were pork ribs meant for spiritual enlightenment. I also really liked this. The sauce was sweet and tangy and the meat was tender. There was a tarot card reader there so I also decided to get my tarot cards read. I've never done that before but it was an awesome experience. I'm going back next weekend with my sister! Can't wait!

This is my favorite restaurant! The owner/executive chef, Chef Hao is a genius. We get the "Feed…read moreMe" option where 4-5 dishes are brought out that are chosen and prepared personally by Chef Hao. His dishes are to die for. Combinations you would never think would work together just fuse and melt in your mouth. He pairs things like raw salmon and strawberries with a sauce that mind blowing. All this combined in your mouth is like heaven on Earth! His Mama's Dumpling soup is so good especially on a cold or rainy night. I have tried almost his whole menu and can't complain about a thing. My only complaint is I wish they were open for lunch. If I worked there, my whole check would go to my bill and I'd still probably owe him money! The staff is really good. They are great for offering recommendations from food to cocktails to bourbons (that he collects). And if they aren't sure, they will ask Chef Hao for his advise. They fully explain everything that comes out and is put on the table, even the rice they explain is to sop up any extra sauce. Every day he is open, he is out picking the freshest fish, veggies, and fruits so dishes taste fresh and can be changed up if one thing isn't available but something else is. The place itself is small but very cozy. I would definitely recommend reservations through Open Table. We went one night during all the very cold weather. I was worried I'd be cold since it's in a remodeled NOLA shotgun house (and those building at known for being drafty), but Chef had the place insulated very well. We got the bread to start and OMG that bread was delicious! It was buttery, with a honey flavor and 2 spreads to use. I wanted to eat it all but knew I had to eat an actual dish lol. My husband and I shared a small plate-the wagyu tacos. Lets just say I woke up thinking about those tacos I ordered a medium prime rib eye & my husband ordered a medium rare filet. His filet was perfect but my ribeye was overcooked. They made me a new one with no problem & were very apologetic. The new steak was more medium rare than medium but I still ate it and it was good but fatty. We shared the seafood mac & cheese which we both agreed was the best we had ever had. It was a huge portion so we ended up taking some home (didnt last very long after getting home). Lastly, we ordered the praline crème brûlée....another thing I woke up thinking about Im already thinking about the next time! 10 out of 10!
