From Peruvian beans (we had them with homemade tortilla chip), burritos, burgers, and I had a pulled pork - which was just right. The whole thing was great - and it was all locals eating here. We were looking for a spot for lunch while driving through and glad Crave popped up. It was delicious! The ahi tacos were super-fresh, flavorful and healthy. In fact, the best fish tacos i've had recently. My husband and son loved their burgers and a carne asada street taco. The pies looked amazing but we were stuffed. They have wonderful Pupusas. You can pick either chicken or if you're a vegetarian, or vegan, you can have them without the chicken. They always appreciate tips in the tip jar. I always tip 20%. Just discovered this fun little restaurant in Mt Shasta. The burger was really good and they serve tater tots instead of fries. They have outdoor seating with a tent, but offered we could sit inside to eat as well. The place was very clean, and the proprietors were friendly. A hidden gem in Mt Shasta. Great bbq and excellent seating options off the main drag! The menu, while short and eclectic, is well executed. I had the daily special-- a 17 hour smoked brisket sandwich, that was out of this world. The roll was fresh and the meat was smoky and fall apart tender. The coleslaw was perfectly crunchy and tart, and the bbq sauce was rich and savory. The meat portion size was hearty too! My partner had the large pulled pork sandwich and raved about how good it was. The portion was heaping and the pork was flavorful. The only thing I wish were that the restaurant served beer - but I made do with my rootbeer. read more

Stopped in here on my drive back down to the Bay Area, accidentally arrived 15 minutes early but could smell the smoke from the backyard so I waited outside.I ordered the brisket sandwich and a half rack of ribs. Both were incredible, I didn't talk for 15 minutes as I ate, and am trying to write this review before my food coma. I can't imagine eating anywhere else when I'm in town. The best and freshest ahi tacos ever! We drove up from Napa and just randomly picked this restaurant based on Yelp review. The are only six tables inside but more outside for better weather. Cool little place. It's a converted dental office, but feels more like your visiting someone's house. Great food! Varied selection. Nice selection of beers on tap. I was in Mt. Shasta City for a week and ate here three days in a row. Probably the best Mac & Cheese I've ever had. The Peruvian beans were delicious. I had the tri-tip dinner the first night. I had the seared Ahi tuna tacos the next night, which I wouldn't have ordered if the meal the night before hadn't impressed me so; it's too easy for places to really mess up Ahi tuna. They did it right. I sampled the homemade salsa that was on the side after finishing the tacos (they didn't need any salsa to add flavor); it was great with a smoky, chipotle type flavor. Finally, I had the chicken enchiladas on the third night. A friend had come and joined me; he had a bacon cheeseburger and really liked it. The service was great every time. REALLY enjoyed this cute little spot! A weird mix of menu items but overall the food was amazing. Husband had the burrito which was GIGANTIC and very good. I would have had it without the beans and without the lettuce but the few bites I tried were excellent. I had the street tacos one pork and one carne asada and they were fantastic. I am so excited about this place because it's (in my opinion) the best Mexican food in Shasta that I've found. We all loved our dinners at Crave. The ribs were tender and had a perfect smoky barbeque flavor. Driving through the area, we checked out restaurant descriptions and chose this place. Wow! Lucky choice! We split an order of nachos and they were the best we've had. The place isn't big, but it is warm and cozy. The folks working there were friendly and nice. I wanted to like this cute place with super nice service and a fire outside. But I thought pupusas were stuffed? And the sweet thai chili sauce was just weird. No cabbage salad, just a little bit of shredded. Perhaps it's just a more modern take, but I prefer the traditional Salvadoran pupusas. read more

I was a customer who ordered their ribs many times. Yesterday my caregiver picked up my order and I was shocked when I opened the box. The ribs were BLACK ! Overcooked, dry, and tough. We called them and brought the box in so they would see how black and dry they were. Rather than apologize the manager said it was the way all the ribs were cooked. The cook/chef yelled out to my caregiver saying it was the way he cooks them. She came home in tears for the abusive "customer service" she experienced. I called them, asking to speak to the manager, explaining we were disappointed in the quality/texture of the ribs. She insisted the order was correct. Knowing full well she was wrong, I told her we would stop going to them in the future, and other customers would find fault as well. She hung up on me!! I live in Mount Shasta and support our local businesses, Crave lost me as their customer, and I will pass on this treatment to all of my friends. read more

Stopped here for dinner during a road trip. The nachos and tacos hit the spot after a day of driving. The beans were something special- they tasted so good and were my favorite part of the meal!
