He seemed to whip through it pretty quick, steak looked perfectly done for a thinner, lunch cut, and we both just drink water since we're traveling and had more appointments. The fruits used here are frozen. The woman was at first apprehensive about us getting the shots, since they close in an hour and had already cleaned the juicer for the shots. The other woman seemed irritated to have to clean the juicer again. The shot is exhilarating, bite from the ginger and cayenne and a nice pucker from the lemon. The spinach green tastes super healthy, not so sweet, earthy, like liquid grass. Both were delicious, refreshing, and dangerously easy to drink. Next came the must-haves: edamame and gyoza. No notes. With our meals, we were served the consommé soup and the salad with ginger dressing, and let me just say, that ginger dressing deserves its own fan club. So good. Once the table filled up, the show began. Flames, flair, knife skills, and all the hibachi magic you hope for. The chef was super entertaining and clearly knew how to keep the energy up. The staff overall was attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience feel fun and welcoming. Bonus points for the fact that I spoke the language, which led to a mini conversation about why I was randomly in the middle of Michigan, always a fun topic.
