This is my family's favorite place to go for the past decade. Me and my dad could eat here every single day. Kenny the chef makes amazing food. His hibachi is outstanding and unique, best gumbo you find, the spicy crawfish is amazing! There poboys are great, and this is cheapest your gonna find seafood and crawfish. People complaining about customer service I don't get. they're not going to treat you like royalty but they're very kind people. It's a hole in the wall spot but that's what makes it so awesome. This is a very unassuming little place. I was dying to have red beans and rice with some crawfish. The crawfish was great! Every table was taken and it was a Tuesday night. The staff was very friendly and that made up for the lack of atmosphere and decor. I guess that maybe this was a bar that's now been converted into a restaurant as there are no windows so it's pretty dark in there. My husband ordered their fried shrimp and I'm assuming that they were very good because he didn't bother to share a single one given that he devoured them in no time at all. I loved their red beans and rice. The crawfish were great and plentiful! Our meal was very good and it's easy to see why this place stayed busy! Definitely worth trying! read more

The female server was on her personal cell phone the entire time, when she finally acknowledged us she was very rude and nasty claiming to be busy. So, like others have said. The food is good though the portions are small. The gumbo and red beans with rice are on the menu as bowls, but come on a very shallow plate. In addition , being charged for tap water and $2 for crackers that should come with the gumbo is unacceptable. We eat out often, but unfortunately it will not be back here. read more

But, it was very hot so we sat inside. The inside is kinda small & old school. Just a small town cute country bumpkin cafe. No frills. We order a gumbo & red beans & rice. We also get fried shrimp with corn & 6 fried oysters with corn. The gumbo was so spicy hubby broke out in a sweat right away. He pushed it to the side. He ate his shrimp & hush puppies they were very good. The oysters were all over cooked all 6 Of them. Hockey puck oysters. Bad. Very bad. The red beans & rice were very spicy & salty. Now I like really spicy & salty but most people don't. So, there is that. Order at your own risk. The corn on the cob was the most surprising. The corn they serve is the boiled corn they boil with the crab or crawfish boil. The one they didn't have, BTW. Anyhoo, the corn was so spicy that even after I left & got 100 miles down the road, my face was still burning off! I LOVE spicy so it wasn't a problem for me! We had the Fried Shrimp Poboy! To be honest.. looking at the photos on yelp... it didn't look tasty but because of the starts we went and IT WAS REALLY GOOOOOD!!!! Freshly made and HOT! The fried shrimp was breaded and fried perfectly! The bread was soft. Sauce inside the bread went very well with everything. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this cute hole in the wall place. It's WORTH IT!!! On our way through the area and checked out my trusty Yelp app. Seemed interesting so we gave it a try and wasn't disappointed. We started with the good old standby of fried pickles with ranch dressing BUT order the Comeback Sauce it is delicious to use as a dip. I had the catfish po boy and wife had the oyster po boy. The bread was nice and crunchy and soft inside and they were not over dressed. Catfish had that catfish flavor and a nice breading that held up well. Wife said the same for her oyster po boy. What an interesting place. If you are looking for crawfish you probably want to go some place else as they only have one offering. One half the menu is hibachi. This is not what I was expecting. The other half is fried food or burgers. We had an order of fried oysters that were great. Then we got brave and tried the hibachi. Not the best choice in my opinion. The rice, vegetables, and meet were all very greasy and everything had the same flavor. I will go back and just not have the hibachi. read more

You simply go here to eat the best tasting crawfish in Mississippi. It is a crappy hole in the wall served by cold, uninterested staff, and generally the customers are local rednecks and major heavy weights....but the gumbo kills, the ez peel boiled shrimp are to die for, and the crawfish are as well boiled as anything you'd get in New Orleans (just lots smaller). There's also a nice selection of ice cold beer on tap, and a singular flat screen TV on the back wall to entertain you with sports while you fill your face with very spicy creole seasoned mud bugs. You will not be disappointed. This place throws down some mean seafood. I had a fried shrimp basket and I'll tell you what, this was among the best shrimp batter I've ever had, which paired very nicely with the excellent fresh gulf coast shrimp that it covered. I have ave been several times my favorite is the oysters poboy. It is so delicious I went today and got my food I was so focused on eating my meal that I walked off and forgot my backpack.
