    Shrimp Hibachi Bento Box Lunch
    Nate T.

Small dining area, but not too bad. The ambience and the staff were nice. The food not so much though. The clear soup tasted ok. Not as rich as I'm use to with other places. The shrimp didn't seem too well cooked for my taste. I like a harder more charred taste to my shrimp. The rice and the veggies were good. The sushi was about average. Not bad but not really and good either.

Delicious and consistent. They never mess up the order (as I always get delivery). I tried the steak hibachi for the first time and loved it! Even reheated well for leftovers.

Very delicious Hibachi, the Sushi was also good (kinda expensive), but the experience & service was very nice. We will be back

Ordered sashimi. Watered down and the scallop sashimi is cooked tiny pieces.... Not worth the money.... Instant regret. This is not Scallop Sashimi.

Ok so it's in the plaza near publix in case your trying to find it. I got 3 different rolls a little over $31bucks not bad. But when I taste them I will continue this review. Although it was only 1 person sitting in the restaurant seems they have alot of call ins and door dash. Food was not bad but it doesn't come with spicy mayo or eel sauce on the side just soy sauce . Or I guess you have to ask and buy it. I thought because I bought so many rolls it came with it. Anyway I would try again, but I have had better quality

Firecracker and Spicy Tuna Rolls -- fresh & tasty!

Thank you fellow yelpers for guiding us to this "hot & new" place for sushi and hibachi! We thoroughly enjoyed not only the delicious food, but also chatting with our server (perhaps manager and/or part owner?). He shared with us their high standards for using quality ingredients such as fresh seafood and angus beef. This was evidenced in the Triple Delight Hibachi dinner (steak, shrimp & chicken) as well as the Spicy Tuna and Firecracker rolls we enjoyed. The salad and miso soup which came with the hibachi dinner were also very tasty. We also enjoyed watching a World Cup soccer match on their large screen tv while we dined! If you're looking for quality sushi & hibachi, great service and nice atmosphere in the Seffner area, you need to try Kiso. :)

    Sushi Bento Lunch

I visited for lunch with a couple of coworkers. We wanted to try it based on all the 5 star reviews. It's hidden in a strip mall off of Martin Luther King Blvd and it looked very promising. We each ordered different items. I decided to try the basic sushi bento lunch. The salad with ginger dressing was very good. I really liked their dressing. I wasn't that impressed though with the taste of the sushi nigiri. The tuna and salmon didn't have much of a flavor. The California roll was very average. I've had better preparations in Brandon, Riverview, and Valrico. The Thai Tea was good, but not as good as others in the area. My coworkers thought their meals were pretty average too. On a positive note, we did feel that the price was right. All lunch meals were under $10. I'm not sure I'll be going back for a second visit. Maybe if I happen to be in the area. I just wasn't wowed by anything except for the ginger dressing. That's just not enough to keep me coming back for more.

Such a good place! Randomly stopped by after being on this side of town and not sure where to go! So good! Inside appearance is a lot better than the outside but it was awesome. Beautiful murals on the walls, fast service. Friendly staff and fresh as hell seafood! Didn't smell fishy at all when you walked in, high quality presentation and decent prices! Will deff be back!

    Hurricane Roll

I stopped by while I was in town for work. I got the hurricane roll and the chicken hibachi. The roll was decent but the hibachi was amazing. I'd definitely recommend getting the hibachi over anything else - it's a great value for your money. The service was really great despite them being understaffed. I'd make this my regular spot if I lived nearby!

I decided to go with 2 rolls for lunch; a basic yellowtail roll, and a spider roll, which comes with fried softshell crab. While I was waiting, the sushi chef provided me with a specialty piece of yellowtail that was amazing! My rolls came out quickly, and they were absolutely perfect. While less pieces than I'm used to, the yellowtail roll was packed with fish. And the soft shell crab was perfectly cooked, plus I love that they provided the deep fried legs, too. Everything I received was beautifully plated on slate dishes, which is always a nice touch. Yes, I do think its more expensive than other sushi places ($4 for a soda, come on?!) but it was really excellent sushi. If I'm ever in the area again (which, honestly, I hope not to be), I would definitely return.

There usually isn't a wait, would recommend calling in ahead just in case. I normally order the shrimp tempura appetizer. Overall, I would say this place is really good and would highly recommend. We definitely will return in the near future.

We were a party of five and arrived on time for our reservation. The restaurant decided to seat us with a very large party that clearly should have had a private area or separate seating arrangement. As we were eating, more and more people from that group kept arriving. There weren't enough seats for them, yet they were allowed to stand directly behind both their party and ours the entire time. What made it worse was that no one from the restaurant addressed it -- not the chef, not the waitress, no one. One of the men standing behind us repeatedly leaned over and ate food directly off the plates of his party. It was chaotic, uncomfortable, and honestly gross. We ended up rushing through dinner just to leave. Our waitress was actually very sweet and did her best, but she was clearly being disrespected and overwhelmed by that large party as well. The food itself was just okay, and the way large amounts of food were being thrown onto plates felt sloppy and unappetizing. Before leaving, we asked to speak to a manager. He apologized, acknowledged that the situation should have been handled differently, and gave us a $50 credit. While we appreciated the apology, it was never really about the money. We simply wanted a nice evening celebrating my mom's milestone birthday, and instead we left stressed and disappointed. Sadly, we will not be returning.
