Very yummy! The Crazy Mac & Cheese was so worth the $15. It was a whole lot of Mac and cheese with a solid layer of chicken on it. It was nice and heavy in the bag and a perfect comfort food. The slider with fries was also very good. My husband and I both loved the fry sauce which is basically a better Caines sauce so really no complaints there! They were very friendly and the service was quick considering the chicken is all cook to order. The chicken was all very juicy and tender and not at all over cooked. I have my go to chicken spot at home but let me tell you these kids know what they are doing. I wish I was not in a rush and got to look at their menu with more time so I could have ordered some other items. I had their slider/strip combo. One with mild heat and the other no heat. The sauces were pretty good too. I was a little hesitant about getting it because of another poster saying it tasted like ranch, but it definitely doesn't. It's sweet, almost like if Cane's sauce, mayo, and honey mustard had a delicious, delicious baby. The online ordering process was pretty easy and simple, and my food was ready earlier than promised. There are a few kinks that might need to be worked out, but nothing super serious. I asked for my sauce to be on the side in the comments since this was my first time here and I wasn't sure if I'd like it. Instead, I got sauce on the fries PLUS an extra side of sauce. This is my go-to DoorDash lunch place. I always get Combo 2 (2 giant sliders, and they mean it!) and get it hot. And the hot has excellent flavor and a great bite! It leaves me sweating but not so much I can't taste the rest of the sandwich or the tasty sauce that comes with the fries. INSANELY GOOD. All of Crazy D's locations are very good. I've tried all of the "hot version" of their chickens. The CRAZY is hard to finish because it is seriously hot, but the flavor is still so good. And the "come back" sauce that they give you with every order is delicious. (way better than canes sauce) I recommend getting an extra sauce so you can eat it with every bite. 10/10! The only complaint I have is that if you get the cheese fries you have to eat them first because the cheese gets stiff but that's just natural and that isn't even really a complaint. read more

The only downfall is the minimal parking and seating. Spice rankings are more mild than advertised -- order hot. The fried chicken comes on a bun with pickles, sauce, slaw, and a side of well seasoned fries. The food is what makes for this four star rating. The chicken is juicy, buns are buttery, and the sauce... oh the sauce... its decadent. We can't get enough of the sauce, which pairs with everything they serve. One of the best parts of the food at Crazy D's is its food's reheatability; the next day leftovers were just as good. The only way to describe this place is a garage-esque hole-in-the-wall. It felt like walking into a party full of mild acquaintances -- not unwelcoming, just not inviting. The best part, besides the food, is how late it's open; when you're in need of some food that isn't Robertos, this place comes in clutch. The craftsmanship of the of college-aged workers was a little sloppy, but they had the pilot of Family Guy playing on the TV, so we can't blame them. This doesn't carry a lot of weight in our rating because we ordered to go. There is not a lot of parking and the spaces are small. There was only bar seating, so eat in is an option... if you're into that sort of thing. There's not a lot we can complain about... we didn't even really mean that whole thing about the bar seating. In conclusion, we will definitely be returning. The food is fantastic and you can't beat the hours. There were a few issues with parking, but everything else is negligible. We love your Crazy D. I ordered delivery through DoorDash after wanting to try something different for our family take out night. I thought it was ok tasting food but for the money they charge, I don't recommend it. I ordered fries to go with our family pack of tenders and family pack of sliders, big mistake. First off, they're nothing special. They look and taste like the frozen crinkle cut Ore-Ida fries from the grocery store. I was mostly disappointed by the poor value of the fries. My "order" was small square styrofoam container, 4"x4" or so, with fries that just covered the bottom in a single layer. It was truly the most pitiful representation of an "order" of fries, paying $5.95 mind you, it was maybe 20ish fries, with the biggest being about 3 inches in length. The onion rings were so good but as far a value, I am not convinced it was worth $11. The tenders were big, the flavor was meh. I wish the bread on the sliders was similar in size to the tenders because getting a bite of bread, coleslaw and pickle is not ideal when eating a slider especially if it's more than one. My daughter said that the Crazy D's by UNR is not as tasty as the other location. She would know because she is a chicken tender guru, and she has eaten at both locations on several occasions. read more

Tried stopping in on foot at the University Ter location, owner apparently told them to close but online orders were (apparently) still available, so we placed one. When we tried to pick up, we were told that the police would be called if we didn't leave, despite showing an order number and everything. Luckily GrubHub has our back and is refunding the order with a promo code, so no complaints there. read more
