I like this place. Comfortable and just enjoy the ambiance. I made a mistake, ordered the hand roll version. Don't ! Not the same. Just order the roll version. Service was good, not once did the file let my drink get to the bottom, aka bottomless.

My first visit to this establishment was February 7, 2026. I joined a friend there for dinner and we were seated around 5:30 in the afternoon. We got right in, and observed the place fill up as we were there. There's good signage. Parking may be a bit of a challenge. There's on street parking but limited spaces available. I know there's parking in the area, but maybe prepared to hike a little bit to get here. Decor is casual. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Menu offers numerous choices. Prices are excellent. My main dish was udon noodles with tofu and vegetables. Noodles were cooked just right, the tofu was gently sautéed and had a slight crunch to it which I like. There were vegetables scattered through the noodles to round out the dish. I had coconut shrimp as an appetizer and they were superb. Nice crunch, very tender. My friend ordered sushi rolls that I sampled and was absolutely delighted by them.

Ordered via door dash chirashi, crazy spicy tuna roll, edamame, shrimp tempura, covacado, rainbow roll, salmon nigiri, crunchy roll & unfortunately the delivery guy (christopher) stole the last three rolls! Crazy fish was great & so was door dash!!! Foodbis always top notch!!!

Amazing sushi! Went here during lunch on Sunday, we had been craving sushi and this place had some of the best reviews. Now i know why, the service was fast and the server was friendly. They took our drink order right away and also brought out some hot miso soup. It had great flavor and was perfect as we waited for our food. We ordered the Dragon Roll, Crunchy Roll, and the Gold Dragon Roll. The Gold Dragon was a lobster salad, deep fried with salmon and eel sauce on top. This one was hot so it was a contrast to the other ones. My favorite was the Dragon roll which had the fillings of a California Roll w/eel, eel sauce and avocado on top. The crunchy roll was a safe choice and now that I know how good the others were I'm excited to try out some different sushi. PSA Not on the restaurant but be careful were you park in this area. If you can park right in front of it and have a line of sight from inside do it. We were inside the restaurant about 30 mins and at some point during that time my vehicle was vandalized it sucked that after some great food we came out to that.

    Key West Roll

CrazyFish4Ever is a phrase I use often when visiting my favorite sushi restaurant on Central. My go-to is always the Key West roll, yellow tail sashimi and a random roll that I choose based off what looks yummy. I chase it all down with a pot of jasmine green tea. I'll be honest, they are short on wait staff, but they are kind, eager to please and doing their best! Your patience as a patron will pay off for fresh, succulent sushi. Leave the sushi chefs a fat tip, they deserve it! I'm always loyal to Crazy Fish because it's crazy good.

It is not the biggest restaurant, and is popular, so I would recommend being prepared to wait during "popular busy time" but it is so worth the wait. So I also recommend waiting. The staff is always pretty friendly and accommodating. I shared an app, a roll and an order of salmon sashimi with a friend on both visits. The food is always fresh, and delicious! I never feel like I am being overcharged for what I get either. Going to eat for sushi can feel like that sometimes. The quality of the food is great and everything is always aesthetically pleasing as well. I had their avocado bomb on my last visit and I was delightfully surprised with it. I like avocado in most cases, but sometimes, it can be a lot at one. I thought this was going to be like that when I saw it, but I was wrong. I look forward to getting one of these on my next visit! On my last visit my friend and I saved room for a dessert, one that we saw rotating on their screens that they have in the restaurant showcasing some of the menu items. It was a take on a bananas foster. It looked delicious but alas, we'll see if we can manage to get it next time. Note to self, have dessert first on next visit?

That's why Sakura Sushi & Grill stood out right away. They clearly label gluten-free options on the menu. They also offer gluten-free soy sauce, which is a huge win. Even better, they have lunch specials with gluten-free options, which is rare. It's located in Riverside Plaza in Albuquerque, just past the river on the west side. I ordered the Sushi Lunch A with premium fish and chose the double salmon roll. Everything was incredibly fresh and delicious, and the portions were great for the price. The miso soup that comes with lunch isn't gluten-free, but they brought me a side salad with an amazing gluten-free dressing instead. I felt confident eating here, which is not something I say often. I didn't have any reaction afterward and would absolutely eat here again. One of the coolest surprises: they make their own wasabi in-house. It's not on the menu, but if you ask, they'll bring it out, and it is absolutely worth it. We considered getting a sushi boat, but the lunch specials were a better value for lunch. If we went for dinner, we would absolutely order a boat. I also had hot sake, which paired perfectly with the meal. At the end, they even brought us a sweet cinnamon tea for my friend's birthday, even though we didn't order dessert. Service was warm and attentive the entire time. My friend has a shellfish allergy, and the server made sure her plate only included fin fish, which we really appreciated. We went around 1:30 p.m. on a Tuesday, and it was quiet with only a few other tables. The atmosphere felt calm and relaxed, with a casual, comfortable vibe that made it easy to sit and actually enjoy a conversation without feeling rushed. They close at 3 and reopen for dinner, so it's a great low-key lunch spot if you time it right. My friend also mentioned she brings her young kids here often, and the woman manager or owner is especially kind and welcoming to them. I enjoyed this place so much that I called my husband on the way home to tell him all about it. We're already planning to go back with our kids, which will make this my second visit in one week. If you're gluten-free, this place is a gem. And even if you're not, the quality, service, and overall experience make it absolutely worth a visit.

I've seen this item on the Grubhub and restaurant menu before, just didn't order it, and it never said anything about it being battered. So, apparently it's not all that important to change being as the description hasn't changed in all these months. My order was refunded, and I greatly appreciate that, I now need to find something else to eat tonight. For 30.00 you can order whatever you want from the large sushi menu. You have to eat it all and you have a two hour time limit. It kind of reminded me of Meat Beard the food challenge Tuber who eats gigantic food challenges except that you don't get a free meal if you eat everything. It's okay sushi. I find that sushi here in ABQ tends to be the sweet sauce kind and that's no exception here. I had a few nigiris a few special rolls and an eel hand roll. I liked the eel roll except I thought I'd left cream cheese on sushi back in Seattle where I used to live. I've given up on super fresh fish here in ABQ, mainly because I get that we are in the desert so any sushi is welcome. But the nigiris were all fresh tasting with bouncy flesh. The surf clams was the best of those. The place is a little tatty with a half assed attempt at paper flower decorations on a few walls. It's clean but looks old and worn. The staff were nice and friendly and didn't make you work hard to re-order. So the answer to my question is Yes, being able to eat a lot of mediocre food for free is a nice treat. Disappointing first experience…read more Why would you call a customer and not leave a voicemail? For a first experience with Tokyo Bangkok, this was incredibly disappointing. My husband picked up an order that I had placed online. About 30 minutes after he picked it up, I noticed I had a missed call from the restaurant. The only voicemail left was essentially, "It's like a robot." Yes--that's the call screening...but why not leave an actual voicemail explaining why you were calling? Since I was still at work, I asked my husband to call the restaurant. We then learned that the main item we had paid for was never included in our order. I appreciate that you offered a refund for the missing item, but my husband specifically asked if the missing food could simply be delivered since it was the restaurant's mistake, and that request was declined. That was particularly frustrating. If the restaurant realized an item had been left out, why not clearly communicate that when calling? And if we hadn't noticed the missed call or followed up, would we ever have been notified about the missing item? Mistakes happen, but it's how a business handles those mistakes that makes a lasting impression. Unfortunately, this was our first experience with Tokyo Bangkok, and instead of leaving us excited to order again, it left a very bitter taste. I hope this was an isolated incident, but better communication and customer service would have made a significant difference
