Inside is very appealing, fresh, clean look. Owner greeted us upon walking in and introduced himself. Fried Green Beans absolutely delish, I could have made a meal out of them, however I decided upon the chicken sandwich, good choice and fries. This place is clean, neat, and organized. It has good lighting. Apart from looking nice there isn't really anything special about it. For being the "crazy fox" it isn't very crazy. Love this place. This is a total diamond in the rough. First of all, you think it is just a bar. Very friendly bartenders and the owner, Daniella is awesome. Then you eat the food....wow!! This has definitely become one of our favorite spots in St Charles! The owners are so nice and so personable and really remember everyone that comes to the bar. The space is great, large bar and a lot of table seating as well. They have great specials, but the food is so great- you won't mind paying full price! Our go to appetizer is the charcuterie, it's the best!! They also have great pretzel sticks! My boyfriend likes the burgers and I love the rigatoni! But really, we've liked everything that we've had here, so you can't go wrong no matter what you order! I would definitely recommend this gem of a bar/restaurant! This is an awesome new place! We wandered in, looking to have a quick drink, and ended up staying all evening. The owners and staff were super friendly and attentive. The food was awesome with a very nice selection on the menu. There was some bar food like nachos and prezels but also a great selection of entrees. Although this place is new, it has a lot of potential. It's hard to find a good bar with good food around the downtown St.Charles area, so I am stoked that this place opened up. I came in on a Sunday night with four other friends and it was somewhat busy, but we were sat immediately. The place is nicely decorated and the ambience is superb. Everyone that I was with left extremely satisfied with the food and the service. I have been waitressing for over 6 years, so I know good service when I see it. The owners were extremely wonderful and helped out their employees any chance that they could. It's a low key place with a lot of TV's, so if you're trying to watch a game somewhere it's definitely the place to be. I will definitely be back! read more

Went to the Crazy Fox this past Friday before a concert at the Arcada Theater. Started with the charcuterie, which was great. I ordered the Blackened Chicken Rigatoni with Cajun Cream Sauce and the wife got the Blackened Salmon. I've seen some complaining about the portion sizes, but neither of us finished our entrees though they were both excellent. The owner stopped by a couple of times during our stay to make sure everything was going well. We don't get to St. Charles often, but we'll be dropping in again the next time we're going to the Arcada. read more

We frequently attend shows at the Arcada and found ourselves with a little extra time before on a Sunday night. We saw a bar across the street, that appeared to be open so we gave it a shot. What a nice little surprise! Nicely done casual setting, great lighting, (don't laugh, I love lighting), a really great menu. Most of the left side is small plates and shareables, the other a few choices for entrees, and desserts. Best part is the kitchen served that night until eleven! Food at ten came out hot and fresh, as promised. We had Angus sliders and potato skins and they were great. Especially notable, fast friendly service at the bar and a good selection of beers and wines by the glass. No wines I never heard of here....they had Kendall Jackson and Sonoma by the glass. Was downtown St. Charles over the weekend trying to find a place for lunch and had read about this place and the place right next door here on Yelp. We were trying to decide between the two places and the 1/2 star difference and the reviews took us into the Crazy Fox. It was perfect! Exactly what we were looking for in a place, cozy atmosphere, friendly owners and EXCELLENT food! The calamari was the best ever, and everyone in our party of four found something great on the menu! Between us, the burgers were fantastic, spaghetti was authentic and the sandwiches were generous with fillings! Go here...skip next door! read more

We had not been to the previous Restaraunt here so can't comment on changes. However, the space inside is nice and has a good vibe. We went mid week. Service was good, no problems there. Food all in all was middle of the road. Nothing was bad, don't get me wrong. If you are looking for decent food and good beer, this is not a bad place to go. However, nothing was great. There was nothing I would rush back to get. We had the charcuterie plate and pretzels as appetizer. The buffalo wrap, French onion soup, chicken fingers, and chicken fettuccine Alfredo as main dishes. There are places in tri cities area where you can worse of all of those dishes and places you can get better. Will be back for the beers and try again. We just had the most wonderful experience!!! We came in about 45 minutes before closing on a Wednesday night and received the best service. Daniella, the owner is a rock star. She made us the all time greatest Mojitos with fresh mint grown at her home. So good that my wife had two. Daniella is such a warm, friendly person who creates an environment where you feel like you are eating at her home. While this might appear to be a Bar and Grill with flat panel screens throughout. Looks can be deceiving as each of our meals were cooked to perfection with huge portions all beautifully plated. This is a 5 Star restaurant with a fabulous bar and full varied menu that would appeal to anyone's taste. This is a must go to place. read more

What a great bar!!! Had dinner at the Crazy Fox before a show at the Arcada theater . We had no plans but were looking for a place to have a bite close to the theater saw the sandwich board outside promoting 1/2 price burgers so we went in. Ordered a cob salad a patty melt & mushroom burger. The nice thing about the food is you can tell it's fresh the burgers had a great taste and you can tell the meat was very good.. They serve an honest drink for a fair price and the service was fantastic. Good job we will be back. read more

Must stop and check out this spot!!! Has become our Fav this summer! Try the Moscow Mules, our go to is the Blood Orange Moscow Mules Nothing like it! The atmosphere is perfect not to loud and cozy. Great date night spot, not your typical. Haven't tried everything yet but can say you won't be disappointed with the Vodka Rigatoni (love the garlic bread they serve with it) mouth watering, sausage n peppers yummmm and don't forget to start with the fried green beans! We stop by if we go to the Arcada for drinks before a show. We actually ate this last time and it was great! I had a chicken breast sandwich with mushrooms. OMG, it was one of the best sandwiches I ever had. I ate half of it and had warmed the rest a few days later and it tasted just as grand! My husband had an appetizer and loved it. Very nice people but the waitress forgot to put in an order for one of our food items (we had 6 people) and the food was just ok. Nothing to rave about. This place was AWESOME! We had a big Harley Group meeting across the street and today and broke for lunch. They didn't expect such a large crowd for our lunch break. Literally we had packed this placed as we all walked in at once. They handled us like a champ! We came back after the meeting for dinner and drinks and the owners to the wait staff was so gracious and attentive. Visited Crazy Fox for the first time in Sunday with the family. My wife had the buffalo chicken wrap without the buffalo and sweet potatoe tater tots ab said all was very good. Son had burger with fresh cut shoe string fries and enjoyed it. I had chicken sandwich with fries and thought it was good too. 50 cent wings on Sunday and they were great. Naked (no batter) buffalo with enough heat, but could go a little hotter. I'll be back and recommend you give this place a try! read more

We had never been to crazy fox before. No sign but we figured you had to seat yourself. Four of us ordered drinks which took forever because the system was down. Hmmm you can't use pen and paper and enter it later? Waited for ten minutes for drinks. We then ordered. It took 20 minutes to get our good. Special fish sandwich did not include the cole slaw. The other special Rueben egg rolls that were $12.95 were literally three egg rolls cut in half with no side included. The guacamole chicken wrap was good but ice cold. I ordered sweet potatoes tots for extra and it came with only 12 tots. We then ordered another round of drinks and the waitress got the order wrong. Looking at us confused? What did you order? I asked twice for a to go box. I did order a sandwich to go which was soggy with gross roasted vegetables. Bottom line - nice atmosphere but bad service and food. The waitress never came to check on us. Will never go again. This is my first yelp review. Had to be done and I wouldn't even give them one star. read more

Went to try out Crazy Fox last night. Kind of a casual-sheik atmosphere, VERY nice and new. Food was quite good, very friendly service, and the owners went out of their way to work the room and meet all their customers. Cocktails had healthy pours and the 4 wines we tried were good. Bathrooms are quite upscale for a bar & grill. Very comfortable place, we will be returning! read more
