Hole in the wall "mom n pop" joint. Has everything from burgers/fries, to kbbq tacos for $1.80, sushi rolls, teriyaki chicken combos, etc. You think of it and this place probably has it. Service is friendly; you can walk up to the window, sit down inside, or call in and order ahead of time for pick up n delivery. FYI, if they're busy, they don't deliver. Don't expect some fancy smancy food but it's good and decent enough too keep coming back. And because it's cheap, it's quick, OH and it's CHEAP!!! The waitress even kept forgetting our order and such, which wasn't a big deal until she forgot to give us the check. We had to flag her down twice for it, which still took a while. Would I return? Been here today for the first time. We ordered the california roll (the rice isn't that great...and the imitation crab could've had more taste to it, like need more mayo), the bulgogi burrito (thought it would be sweeter since bulgogi are usually on the sweet side) and the chilly cheese fries (ordinary, nothing out of the usual). I have been to better places that serve better sushi and better bulgogi and fries. Food IS cheap so yeah you DO get what you pay for! but i have found cheaper places for better quality. So I will probably not be coming back here anytime soon. read more

On the outside, this establishment holds no attractive value, assuming it's a run down taco stand or burger bunker from the 70s. But look closer, and you'll find a hidden gem featuring an array of SoCal cuisine all under one roof: Mexican, American, Chinese, Japanese, to make true California fusion. Plus, there's subgenres of Teriyaki and breakfast. Is your head still on? I continue to ask that to the minimal staff that work their asses off here, trying to please my people who can't decide. But when we do decide, we get pleasing dishes as Jalapeño Bombs, chili cheese fries, sashimi sampler, bulgogi tacos, and wet burritos. Ya, that's right, my tongue is freaking out too. Based on the one item that I ate at location, it was pretty good. I had the shrimp/lobster roll. The size of the roll along with the amount of shrimp/lobster was ok. If you have a large appetite you will probably need more than this one item. I will have to visit again and try other items for a better rating. read more

The food here is really good and really cheap. The biggest downside for me is that since it is such a small place that's a mom and pop shop, there's only 2 or 3 people working. Food takes a long time to make. I got 2 bulgogi tacos and a crunch spicy salmon roll. The bulgogi tacos were super good, great portion size as well. They filled it up so much you can basically make 4 tacos. The salmon roll, they gave me a regular one instead of the crunch one, but that's okay. It was still super good! read more

This is hard place to review, flat out. The extensive menu makes it seem like no matter how often I eat here i still haven't had the full experience. OK, so i've eaten here at least twice, mostly Mexican and some Japanese and/or teriyaki type fare. Pretty good food, exceptionally pleasant and courteous staff, and all around great fast-casual. The interior is a bit tiny, but rarely full of folks. The outdoor windows means most folks are coming and going. Pretty great, all around, but nothing that really stands out. If you've got an office full of people who can't decide if they want a burger, burrito, sushi, or a rice bowl, this place is downright a godsend. This place is usually my go-to for good, cheap sushi. It usually takes somewhere between 20-25 mins for your order to be ready, so I would suggest calling ahead of time. The only thing I have to say about their service is that their employees can be very abrupt with their dialogue and not too concerned with face to face customer service if you're not dining in. I also asked for a side of eel sauce with my rolls and she said they were included with the crunch rolls, but to my dismay, I found none when I got home and opened my bag of food. I came to crazy the other day, and it was delicious. I ordered the eel roll and Hawaiian roll, which both were fantastic. With the eel roll, they had the sauce on the side, and with the Hawaiian roll it had a vinegary sauce that added some sour punch to the flavor, which I liked. The eel roll was only about 6 dollars, while the hawaiian roll was closer to 9.50, but they were good and well portioned for their money's worth. I'm definitely coming back, and the customer service was great. I don't know about the one star reviews, I had a wonderful experience. I came around 11:00, but even by 12:00 it wasn't super packed or overwhelming place. The parking lot is kinda small, and not many spaces. BOMB.COM!!! I was excited to try this place and I'm glad I did!!! I haven't had anything but their sushi so far but sushi isn't easy to do right but this place definitely does! Mushroom bombs are literally the bomb, and the Ocean Roll is so fresh and delicious. Really all the rolls we've tried are excellent. The servers and staff are really friendly and welcoming, just after one time going they knew who I was when I came back in which was really nice! I have been going to this place since 2012. The service has gone down. The food just mediocre. I would classify their food as filler. If you order food for pickup. Today I kept it simple with a chicken sandwich. Four other people ordered after me and sat down, my order was to go. I moved to Orange about 2 years ago and now that we are moving again I definitely have to say that I'm going to miss this place. Friendly staff, overall good food and great prices. The food: They've got a huge selection of food. American, mexican, japanese and korean. I haven't tried everything but what I have was pretty good. Chicken sandwhich is good and pretty big. Their bowls (which actually come in a plate now) are also good. I've only tried their crispy shrimp rolls and they're not bad though they're nothing spectcular either. My FAVORITE is without a doubt their shrimp burrito. Its a mexican asian fusion dish with sauted bell peppers, onions, fried shrimp, crab (the same filling they put in the california rolls) and a little bit of cheese. Also they put this spicy sauce in it which I always get on the side cuz its very spicy but delicious. For less than $6 its a steal.. Highly reccomend if you're looking for something new. I've tried the bulgogi burrito too, not as good but still tasty and spicy! The service: The staff has always been super nice. I think its run by a korean couple which explains the bulgogi, ramyeon, and now they have , rice cakes with a hot chili paste. I have yet to try them from here. We usually order and pick up so I've only sat down maybe twice. Theres a small inside seating area or you can just order outside to go. Be advised if youare calling in they usually say 10min but if ur odering for two or more id add in another 5 to ten minutes. Ive always had to wait a bit more when i come pick up the food. They usually seemnl in a hurry for some reason, even when its not busy but they're nice. Overall: This place definitely deserves some more lovin. I think becuase the location is a bit hidden and kind ghetto people pass it up but there's more than meets the eye. I've heard there are some items that aren't too great (mostly the mexican options) but I think any of the burritos and asian items would be a good choice. If your looking for a Japanese-Mexican-American fusion this is the place to try out! At first I was a little unsure because I am kind picky with my sushi. However, the quality of the fish is pretty good! The first time I ate here I was suprised on how updated the interior of the restaurant was. It looked well kept and had a large screen TV. Service was good, food good, side sauces good. The first time I came here I got a Philadelphia or Alaskan roll I dont really remember. It had smoke salmon with california roll on the inside with some type of mixture of sauces on it. It was really deliciious, I felt like I could taste the smokyness on the salmon. The other rolls I was interested in but was kind of hesitant because a lot of them have jalapeno in it and I never had tried that before. Today I got a monster roll (including jalapeno) which had eel and avocado on top, crunchy tempura on the inside with cucumbers I think and imitation crab. It was really good! the avocado seemed to be good quality and so did the eel. The only thing I wish was that it was open later and that you could order sushi later because I have random nightly cravings. Overall, a decent place the area around is questionable but Crazy Grill itself is fine. I love the fact that they have different tacos and breakfasts too! Ill look forward to trying them sometime. I've got to be honest, when I saw this place from the outside, I was hesitant. It's basically a little free standing hole in the wall. And I was dubious after seeing the mix of sushi, Mexican, teriyaki, and American foods... I mean, who mixes those genres of culinary delights? I got the wet burrito with chicken combo. My husband got the fire cracker rolls and crispy chicken sandwich. The wet burrito was topped with a moderately spicy tomatillo sauce (I say moderately only because it was a touch beyond my definition of mild... But then again, I love spicy food). It was delicious! The rice was flavorful, as were the beans. My husband enjoyed his fire cracker rolls and crispy chicken sandwich. The server was very polite and personable. I'll admit, this place surprised me. Usually don't leave reviews but this place was pretty good. The restaurant is at a stripped down center and doesn't look that appealing, but the food was great. We wanted to try something new and we found this restauarant on yelp. I was pleasantly surprised even though the reviews were less than 4 star. I came with my family and ordered three items (around 35) which was reasonable for lunch. I don't recall all the items but I remember the caterpillar roll which was great. We also ordered tempura that was served hot. Service was good despite the other reviews that I read. It was lunch so there were about two other tables and the waitress was kind and asked us multiple times if everything was okay. One concern would be that the menu selection was much. It had American, Mexican, Asian, breakfast and was a little too much to handle. However I still recommend going for a quick bite. Probably going again next week with my son. read more

I've gone to CG two times since my first visit, so I want to update my rating and review. The service is still pleasant, but I've tried a few more sushi items and they're not as good as the eel sushi I ordered on my first visit. The Spicy Calamari Roll was unappetizing to me as it seemed like cooked frozen breaded calamari rings with sushi. The Lobster Roll was also alright but nothing special. And I just tried the Sexy Mango Roll, which is basically sushi with mango slices on the outside. They don't seem to have a good handle on complementing flavor combinations. The eel sauce was provided with both the Sexy Mango and Spicy Calamari Rolls but didn't seem to go together at all to me. I previously echoed the sentiment that their Bulgogi Burrito would be better off with kimchi instead of onions and bell peppers, but when I asked, the cook said they don't have kimchi. The Bulgogi Tacos seem like a better option than the Bulgogi Burritos in that you seem to get the same amount of marinated meat in 1 taco as you do the whole burrito; even if a burrito has the same amount of marinated meat as the 2 tacos, you're still paying about half the price for 2 tacos than 1 burrito if this premium ingredient is your concern. I mention this because of other reviews expressing concerns that the Bulgogi Burrito is mostly filler with little marinated meat. By the way, there is a minimum order of 2 tacos if you get the Bulgogi Tacos. On the plus side, the Jalapeno Bomb was pretty good. The Monster Roll was still good but it seems like the only sushi worth the price since, as I mentioned before, they charge the same standard prices for sushi as the more sushi-dedicated places. Given the setting and how most of the sushi was prepared, I can't say that it's really worth the value regardless of their variety in offerings. I found out that you get a free drink if you order 2 sushi rolls, but that isn't much incentive unless you're getting 2 orders of the Monster Roll. On my third visit, it seemed like they hired a new cashier/waitress, who seemed nice enough but needed improvement on her service skills. To be fair, it was fairly busy with their limited staff. However, I have to cite the fact that I had to get napkins from a neighboring table after that party left before asking for some more before leaving. I also didn't get a refill of my drink until just before the check arrived. Speaking of which, she presented me with the check before I was finished with my meal and further asked me to sign the receipt before I was done. I also wasn't given a copy of my receipt. Again, to be fair, I did mention that I had no problem paying the bill ahead of time, but it seemed odd given the timing, especially since I mentioned previously that I was considering getting a banana split from them, which I decided against since it seemed like I was maybe nudged to leave. However, I did spend about $40 on the meal, so maybe they were concerned about me dine-and-dashing. Regardless, it was hard to discount given the level of service I was getting. On top of that, my last ordered item was forgotten and I didn't receive it until 2 parties of people finished their respective meals and left despite my ordering of it before they arrived. It wasn't really a big deal given the amount of food I ate, but overall, it was odd to me. I also want to mention that they do indeed have a public restroom in the back of the building with a separate entrance on the outside. My initial 4-star review as more of a 3.5-star one rounded up given my excitement of finding a place that serves bulgogi burritos, but given my recent experience in getting a better handle of their menu offerings, I have to round down this time. It does deserve more than 3 stars with the variety of menu offerings and typical service, but with most of their sushi rolls disappointing relative to their pricing along with the slightly off pairings of ingredients for some of their dishes, I have to bring the star-rating down closer to where it deserves. read more
