I used to love this place and came back while I was in town hoping it would be as good as I remembered. I ordered a poke bowl, but unfortunately, it was disappointing. Some of the toppings that used to be included at no extra charge now cost extra. While my bowl was being made, the employee scooped my protein, then put some of it back from my mixing bowl. When I got home and opened my bowl, I was surprised by how little protein I received. There were only seven small cubes of salmon. The portions and overall value have definitely gone downhill compared to how they used to be. I've seen the other reviews that say the portions are small but I thought the portions were perfectly sized because we were able to finish it and feel pretty stuffed. We got the two proteins + crab meat for $15 to-go. Service was really fast and friendly. The fish was yummy and ample toppings were given. I really have no complaints. We decided to dine in after a run in a nearby park and my husband I ordered the customized poke bowl. We rattled off everything we wanted in our poke bowls and our waitress was fast at taking our order accurately. I got the spicy tuna, tuna and seared albacore and it all tasted very fresh and not fishy at all. Loved how you can pick any or all the sides like corn, imitation crab, green onion, pickled cucumber, sesame seeds, ginger, masago, etc. We were both very full after my meal. Between March 2025 and September 2024 alone, the medium is now the price of what the large used to be, and they've straight-up removed the small size altogether. And on top of that, they nickel and dime you for everything--extra charge for crispy garlic and another charge for fried onions? Really?? I get charging for avocado, but c'mon. The food itself is fine--nothing amazing, but fresh enough. But between the constant price hikes and the extra charges for things that feel like they should just be standard toppings, I leave feeling more annoyed than satisfied.
