I've got to be honest, when I saw this place from the outside, I was hesitant. It's basically a little free standing hole in the wall. And I was dubious after seeing the mix of sushi, Mexican, teriyaki, and American foods... I mean, who mixes those genres of culinary delights? I got the wet burrito with chicken combo. My husband got the fire cracker rolls and crispy chicken sandwich. The wet burrito was topped with a moderately spicy tomatillo sauce (I say moderately only because it was a touch beyond my definition of mild... But then again, I love spicy food). It was delicious! The rice was flavorful, as were the beans. My husband enjoyed his fire cracker rolls and crispy chicken sandwich. The server was very polite and personable. I'll admit, this place surprised me. I've been going here for years and it is quite disappointing to ordered the sexy mango rolls #44 on the menu and to received mango that's not all quite riped, it looks nothing like in the picture so I ended up snacking on the mango bits first. I went to the crazy grill on my lunch break with a co worker. They had pretty fast service and the waitress was super on top of everything and had a great attitude. I made a yelp just so I could leave a review for this spot, haha. The sushi to be honest wasn't the best but the onion rings and burger were pretty good. It's a weird location though. When I first moved to Garden Grove, I found Crazy Grill when searching (on yelp) for "breakfast burritos", at that time, their menu was shorter and less craaaazzzzzyyyy. We have since watched Crazy Grill develop into a completely awesome restaurant offering many different types of food: breakfast, lunch (American, Mexican, several types of Asian, incl. sushi). We have yet to be disappointed by this place! They deliver, or you can pick it up, or eat there. They have an odd kind of music/vibe going on in there (top 40's and brightly colored inside) but its fun and lovable. Staff is super nice. Favorites include: Iced coffee, Philly Cheesesteak (which my bf- from PA endearingly calls "Teriyaki Cheesesteak" but its still amazing,) fried zucchini!, fries, the bigger burgers, and teriyaki combos. Basically everything. Visiting this place is a must!!! (We have yet to experience the actual sushi because we have another fave for cheap sushi in the area, but it's probably good too). read more

Bought a family meal for me and some friends last night. It was 4 burgers, fries, onion rings, sodas, and cheese sticks. It was aweful. All the food was cold. The sides were on par with store bought frozen food. The burger had a dry tough bun, too much over sized produce, a slimy cold patty, the cheese wasn't melted, and there was little to no sauce. The Sprite was good. I paid just over $30 to feed 4 people and could have had a better meal from McDonalds. The delivery guy was nice and it was very cool that I could get that meal delivered but it would have been nice if the food had been good. No one finished their food and we ended up ordering pizza. If a room full of stoners won't eat your burger and fries maybe it's time to change that up. read more

My family and I have been eating here for few years. Have always had 100% great experience. The food is great and the prices very reasonable. I love their sushi, and the Philly cheese steak. They serve: sushi, burgers, sandwiches, and mexican food. There are literally so many choices to choose from. This is a bonus because my family does not always agree on what they want and my kids do not eat sushi. The employees are always nice and helpful. TIP: They're closed on Sundays - so stop by any other day than that. Also they have a small seating area inside and a few tables outside, but we've always gotten our food to go. read more

This place is a gem in slightly rough surroundings. I'm in town chaperoning 6 teenagers at a conference. We needed a place that offered multiple food options due to food sensitivities and preferences so this sounded unique and with quite a variety. We were not disappointed! It seems like a hole in the wall kind of place, but it is very good. The woman taking care of my party was very nice, excellent customer service to say the least. There is a wide arrangement of food options, more casual Asian Mexican fusion seems hard to come by these days. The cutlets looked very appetizing, but I ended up with the bulgogi burger. The grilled peppers along with adding Sriracha was very American Asian fusion. The large ores of the chili cheese fries was pretty straight forward, but the quantity was a good size for the price. I feel that this restaurant is a diamond in the ruff and needs more customers, the quality and the service are excellent. A place people should eat at more often. read more

***EATERS BEWARE*** Let me start this review by saying I don't ever review places, however this place was so disgusting I had to write a review. My girlfriend and I decided to try this place because it is close to our house and neither of us felt like cooking. When we got there the place looked decent. It's a hole in the wall but it look fair, menu looked good and lots to choose from. I decided to get the spicy pork burrito and chili cheese fries, my girlfriend got the bulgogi Philly cheesesteak. Once we got our food we started to eat. The food was mediocre, I take that back not good at all. The chili tasted like a can of Hormel Chili, fries were under cooked and not crispy. The philly cheese steak was not made with bulgogi (trust me I know, I'm korean) and it was so tiny. My spicy pork burrito was horrible!!!! I don't even want to get into it with you about the burrito. Disgusting is all I have to say. Now here comes the worst part of it all. While we were eating we were attacked by little flying bugs, maybe fruit flies. I think we killed about a dozen while trying to eat. I was so grossed out I could finish my meal. I will never go back to this place and I don't recommend anyone going as well. We have been coming here since they opened & I believe, we helped keep this place stay open. Because it's changed owner/names so many times. Also, since we live near this area, we come here a lot on our personal time too. You can check our history of check ins. The food is not bad & prices is not extremely cheap either, but the service is horrible. We like the home style sandwiches, nachos, Korean style meat on tacos or burritos. We even had some of their sushi. So food is what kept us coming back. I gave them plenty of chances & this is the last time. It's not even worth it anymore. I not only order food for me, I order big orders for my company several times & not once was the food ever ready when you went to pick up or ask for delivery. Today was the last straw, my staff member David, called in the order, which most were just sandwiches. They took our order and told us they will deliver in 45 minutes. 1 hour 15 minutes pass, David called & a girl picks up the phone & tell David, well we have people that walk in the door so we have to take their order & make their food first. David asked so what does this mean? She was implying they never even started making our food. She further said to him, well you can cancel your order if you want? Really? Wow?! What kind of restaurant, who just got a big order say something like that to their customers? Is this person a F@&$3N idiot? We already had them charged our card over the phone & we also had staff waiting for their lunches so David told her to work on it & he will come pick it up instead. She then said fine we need 30 minutes to prepare it. I know I'm not alone on the issue either. Every time I've gone to get food there, while waiting for my food, I see other customers complaining about their order not being ready to pick up. Did they never stop to think? Why would anyone call ahead if they can come order & wait 20 minutes?! They need to understand the importance of returning customer & customer service. I don't expect Mastro Steakhouse service but I expect, appreciate for my business. If they do not understand it then they might need to close shop fired everyone & reopen again under a new name/management/staff & just maybe then stay open because loyal customers like us keep coming back. I live right across the street and the owner before had a pretty lame menu with only Tacos & Hamburgers and a few breakfast items. since the change i have seen major improvement with the look of the restaurant as well as the quality of food. The name says it all. This place has an unusual array of different foods. From sushi to pastrami sandwiches, this place pretty much tells you how your meal is going to go before you've even had it. I, however, am a sucker for food. So that means if I see anything off at all about a menu, I have to try it. I had their bulgogi tacos, teriyaki bowl, and burger. Everything had the same "eh, I could've opened my fridge and whipped this up at home" kind of flavor to it. Let me preface that by saying I'm a terrible cook and can only make a good meal out of leftovers. I appreciate variety. Gives customers many yummy options to choose from. My family and I went with the sushi (special rolls) california, crunchy, and volcano rolls. Avocado salad and side of fries & rice. Overall we really enjoyed everything we ordered, I love the presentation of the food, customer service was good, restaurant was nice and clean. The plus side was the sweet owner coming out to tell me my niqab looked nice ;) how lovely, they were also extremely kid friendly :-) .. That was on a saturday and my family went back for take out on sunday but it was closed :/.. If there was a negative rating I would give that, the owners of this place are not professional and don't care about having good customer service. I ordered over the phone and stated I wanted a philly crunch roll and when I drove down her on my 30min lunch they gave me the wrong order which didn't realize they messed up because there was a large order, I called to talk to the cashier she stated she heard wrong and that I can come back and pick it up, o was given the run around..had the owner lady get on the phone and rush me off and was very unprofessional and would not reimburse me my money back for there mistake.....horrible place and horrible food would never come back here and never recommend this place to anyone.. the owners are not nice and I'm surprised there still in business!!!
