Way worse than the unit from 1999 we replaced. After tons of back and forth calls and texts between us and multiple achedulers, service managers, the sales guy, etc., we thought we were getting somewhere when we were told that it would be replaced, as it states they would on their website, but then we started getting the run around again. Great job at keeping your word, fellows. Class act family run business. They knocked some money off but the unit is still not working properly. Tons of service calls and still not working. Their own service guys are even telling us we should have it replaced as they don't know how to fix it. Maybe I'll change this review if Robbie himself gets a hold of me and replaces this piece of garbage, as I'm getting nowhere with the people I have spoken with about 100 times. I've also sent an email to an address I found through a google search. If i dont hear back within a day or so, My next step is filing a formal complaint with the BBB.

My husband and I contacted Rich (and 2 other businesses that we had dealt with in the past)for a quote on a new furnace--had no prior knowledge of Affordable and (luckily!) found the business on Google. Rich was very well prepared. He showed us our options, listened to our concerns, answered every question we had intelligently and patiently. He did not try to "oversell" and assured us that a moderately priced unit would more than meet our needs. He and his employee, Dave, spent the greater part of a day installing our unit. They were both respectful and courteous throughout the lengthy process. Rich then called the next day to make sure all was functioning properly. He followed up with a thank you letter--and reassurance that he will make periodic checks on our furnace to ensure all is well. Who could ask for more than that? I would highly recommend Rich Hollingsworth and Affordable Heating and AC to anyone interested in great product and service at reasonable (affordable!) cost! P.s. Would certainly recommend, but make sure you ask for no techs in training, and double check the solution is to your standards. * The loss of star (1) is because I was charged for (2) techs, because someone in training was along. The trainee did little more than incorrectly place, and then over-tighten my fan blade, which the senior tech wound up coming back to remove. *Loss of star (2) is due to the initial "repair" strategy, being to bypass the high & low safety systems of the unit. It would have operated, but it would have done so until catastrophic failure due to the bypass.

Everyone else suggested to buy a new furnace. Lenard fixed our problem that none of the other guys were able to at a fraction of the cost!! Most importantly, he is very trustworthy walking you through every step of what he is doing. He shows you that the equipment he is installing is brand new, calls the warranty company first before giving you a quote just to make sure that parts are covered . His goal is to save you money. He does not see why a perfectly working furnace should be replaced when he can still salvage it and bring it back to a good working conditon I don't know why of all the places on Yelp I randomly picked him and i thank the HVAC gods I did:). I will be a repeat customer and I will be recommending him to my family and friends. If you have been told by an HVAC guy to replace furnace, ask Lenard first.
