ICE CREAM: Tried the ice cream sandwich, since it seems to be the way to go here. You get to choose the 2 cookies (they can be different!). The cookies are warmed up in the oven for a bit and then the ice cream (a generous scoop) added in between. The snickerdoodle is their most popular, which I paired with the white macadamia. I thought the ice cream tasted great! The cookies, though, weren't as soft as I would have liked, which made eating the sandwich difficult. When I tried to bite together, the cookies would not break off easily with each bite. Instead, I had to use a spoon to eat the ice cream and then eat the cookies bite by bite. I was hoping it would be easier to get all the flavors in one bite, but it proved difficult. It got a bit messy too, so make sure to grab some napkins! SERVICE: Very friendly staff with big smiles. Very helpful with samples and recommendations. IMPRESSIONS: I'd like to come back, and will try the other offerings instead of the sandwich. This was my first time at CREAM Cupertino, and I had a great experience! I have a life threatening allergy to peanut and coconut. I made sure to come in during a time in which it was not too crowded to make sure they could address my allergy needs. The server was extremely kind and patient, and answered all of my questions in a courteous and (seemingly) well informed manner. As was the case with a previous CREAM location I visited (Oakland or Berkeley), I asked if the soy based ice creams (Mint or Cherry Chip) were kept separate with their own scoops, and they were. So, I got a scoop of soy mint chip ice cream on two cookies, which the server changed gloves before handling each time (in and out of oven, scooping, etc). She used wax paper to ensure that my food never touched the counter. The extra effort and time was much appreciated, and the ice cream sandwich was absolutely delicious! I will be back. Of course for other allergy sufferers, it all depends on your level of comfort. I will eat at places with cross contamination warnings (CREAM had a very realistic and thorough one), as long as I am 100% confident that there is little to no risk of cross contamination, any greater than that in my own home. I will absolutely return in non peak hours, and assuming the servers respond in the same manner, will continue to enjoy! read more

The other location in (I think) Palo Alto, had a line out the door. My son had a blast taking his time to peruse the many options available. I've been to like 4 different CREAM locations and needed to write 4 separate reviews because I always get something different. I got the confetti cookies with strawberry cheesecake ice cream. The strawberry cheesecake ice cream was really good, but I wish they had like graham crackers in it do simulate a cheesecake. Nonetheless, it was delicious. The cookies were warm, but they were a bit on the crunchy side and were cracked. However, it didn't take away the amazing taste of the cookies. The staff was super friendly, upbeat, and energetic! Solid place to get ice cream. Prices are reasonable, and there's a wide variety of ice cream flavors and toppings. I tried the salted caramel ice cream between snickerdoodle and chocolate chip cookies. The cookies were fresh and the sandwich held together surprisingly well even though it was a hot day. Boyfriend got a cookies and cream shake, which had the perfect consistency, not too runny and not so thick that you can't suck it through the straw. By the way, for the shake you can pick up to three ice cream flavors if you prefer to mix and match. The only downside to this place is that the parking lot is shared with a residential complex, so parking can be scarce during peak hours. That's no fault of the establishment though. Came here after a track day unexpectedly. Surprisingly empty when we showed up. We were unsure if we wanted to head to the cafe next door or if we wanted CREAM. But then we noticed a friendly face waiting to greet us if we decided to walk in. Right off the bat, super friendly guy. Asked if we've experience CREAM before. And asked if we needed to taste test anything. More than willing to help us out, and super friendly; can't say that enough! I wish I caught his name, but for now he will be known as the CREAM bearded man, lol. When I go to CREAM I normally get the same stuff. But for some reason, I wanted to try something new. I picked out the ice cream and let him pick out the cookie. I didn't know a small change could alter the taste drastically. IT WAS SO GOOD. I'm starting to drool just thinking about it. Today was a good day because I came here at the right time. The person who helped me turned out to be a magnificent person. First he referred me to try their new flavor, the Cin-Ful Churro. Boy oh boy, this is now my favorite over cookies n cream! He suggested me to pair this up with the snickerdoodle cookie, but I said I also wanted to try it over one white chocolate cookie. Again, boy oh boy was this sooo good! Then I noticed his music playlist contained all of the songs I grew up to during my teen days of the early 2000's. Stuff like Usher, Chingy Right Thurr. So I complimented his clean playlist and shortly we began to have a conversation since no other customers were there. I got to know this man, Amir I believe was his name. He sounded very dedicated to running this place. He expressed his interest in one day owning his own restaurant, but more importantly demonstrated excellent customer satisfaction. He even offered me some water even though I didn't think of asking for some. Such a great man and I hope he will one day reach that dream. You have your original cookie sandwich, waffle cone taco, dosant (donut/croissant) sandwich, waffle (made fresh) sandwich, and scoops of ice cream. How awesome is it that my first time trying CREAM is on Grand Opening day when it's free?! :) I've been wanting to try CREAM for the longest time, especially having been a UCLA alumni and only experiencing Diddy Riese. All my NorCal friends always insisted Cream was better than Diddy Riese, and I had to test it out myself before making any decisions. (Verdict: NorCal is better. Why am I still living in LA?) Considering it was grand opening day (with the promise of free ice cream sandwiches), the line wasn't as unbearable as I thought! It took about 20-30 minutes ish, and the service was still awesome. Everyone was friendly, and the workers were pretty efficient in getting everyone in and out. Props to everyone on staff, because I'm sure the first day must be hectic! I ordered a green tea ice cream sandwich with snickerdoodle and white chocolate chip cookies. The cookies were still warm when I got it, though the cookies were more crispy than soft, to my bf's dismay. (I personally like my cookies this way though, so no complaints.) I enjoyed my sandwich combo very much. :) I'm a fan of green tea ice cream, and since Diddy Riese doesn't offer green tea ice cream, CREAM gets the point here. There were tons of ice cream options and cookie pairings, so I'm positive you can make a creation that will satisfy your taste buds. My combo might be a common one though, because I do see a lot of pictures of the exact pairing from other cream locations, so I must be pretty boring haha. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to try any of their other menu offerings (like the CREAM taco!), since I was too distracted by the promise of free ice cream sandwiches.. but perhaps next time! Now, even though Diddy Riese might be slightly cheaper (from my memory), I still prefer going to CREAM. One reason why CREAM always appealed to me was that the ice cream scoops always looked so PLUMP!! My sandwich didn't turn out as plump as I had hoped, but everyone always had such plump and appetizing looking ice cream sandwiches. And when it comes to food, how it looks plays a huge factor, right?! Also, I've never gotten warm cookies with my sandwiches at Diddy (maybe just bad luck), but I was overly delighted when I felt the warmth of my CREAM sandwich. So, another thumbs up! And just more ice cream options makes CREAM a winner. All in all, glad I finally got to try CREAM after months of having it bookmarked! It was pretty much fate, since I went home for the weekend for Mother's Day, and I found the CREAM grand opening event through Yelp the morning of. :) Parking was a bit hard to find, but I'm sure once the grand opening hype settles down, it'll be easier to find. Tried this location and it was great! Has a good seating area. I am vegan and they accommodated me quite nicely. They told me exactly what they had for me because I wanted an ice cream sandwich (about two flavors of ice cream and two flavors of cookies to choose from) I got mint chocolate chip ice cream with banana chocolate chip cookie. The only difference I could taste was that the cookies were pretty crispy compared to the soft ones at other locations, which is one of the reasons why I like cream more than other ice cream sandwiches. Yay for a free ice cream sandwich on opening day! I came about 3:30p on opening day, and I was expecting the line to be much longer than 30 minutes. Although I endured the 30 minute wait in the hot sun with loud music blaring in my ears, I can't complain about the service. The workers even brought trays of ice water and samples of the cookies to the people waiting in line. I ordered a very berry strawberry ice cream sandwich with turtle and double chocolate cookies and it was good. Even if I had to pay for it, it was probably worth $3. Amazing experience. I came here after a long day at work... craving an ice cream sand which. Luckily cream is 10 minutes away from my house. I was lucky enough to be served by a girl named Vivian. There was a long line, but she smiled and greeted every customer, despite the fact that it was close to closing. I get so mad whenever people come in to my work right before closing. Vivian deserves a promotion ASAP. Or at lease some kind of prize. If I was the president, I'd give her a presidential award, similar to the one Ellen Degeneres received. Anyways, after she dealt with the entire long line, she immediately starts cleaning the windows, leaving no time to waste. She is probably the most hardworking and efficient person I've seen. On top of this, I like my cream sandwiches in a very specific way- and Vivian managed to make it exactly how I like it. I was so honored to be her customer. I've had really good experiences previously at this location but when I went today things had definitely changed. I ordered a double chocolate chip and snickerdoodle ice cream sandwich, soy mint chocolate chip ice cream. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was that the lady was very friendly. At least that stayed the same. It took me a while to decide, but when I did she quickly prepared my sandwich. The problem was that when she handed me the sandwich, I noticed the cookies were considerably smaller than they had been when I last came. The ice cream was not mint chocolate chip but blueberry, so I was initially confused but it did taste pretty good anyways. To add on, when I went to pay they charged me about $4.90 for one ice cream sandwich. Now, when I ordered in the past they used to charge $2.99, and I don't think charging about $2 more for soy ice cream (in the wrong flavor) is reasonable. I would be giving one star, but considering the fact that it's winter and the business is probably going slow, I can understand some of the changes. The service was fast and relatively friendly, so two stars. I could tell the workers were tired from working Dec 31st, so I walked off without making too much of a scene about the ice cream flavor. Nevertheless, I won't be coming back until prices get back to reasonable levels, which will probably be a while. read more

Love this place but since im lactose I can't come often lol. My friends and I came here after dinner down th5r street. Parking is a little tight as there are more shops and apartments above. We were lucky to snag a spot infront. The place was a little tight inside as we were in a line that blocked the entrance. The servers helped everyone quickly though. The guy who helped us was really nice and atttentive. I ordered a single scoop with a single espresso shot on top and a small cookie on the side. It was just the right size.
