Let me tell you a story …read more.. I was planning to go to the mainland for my daughters graduation in December 2015 so since my engagement ring was a bit loose, I thought I should have it resized. I took my ring back to the place that we got the diamond from. I won't say the name of that jeweler but long story short ... They completely MESSED up my ring!! I was so upset upon picking it up that I was crying!! It was not the same ring that I dropped off!! Mind you that I picked up my ring at 5 pm on a Friday night and then they closed. I took the ring home to show my husband and ... I was the first customer in the next morning. Too give the ring back....I sent an email to the owner and he called back my husband making all the excuses in the world. Then we gave him a chance to make it right!! Well a week later he personally called me to pick up the ring ... Guess what? Still crappy ... Still not the same ring that I dropped off ... By this time, I was so upset that I wanted to just throw away the ring... I didn't want this ring no more, it looked horrible and I just hated it!! Well ... Then my boss told me to see Mr. Bill and I did. I literally went there crying my eye balls out. I told him that I hated the ring and I want him to make me a brand new one. (My husband said to do whatever makes me happy...) so I thought if I could have a new new setting similar to it getting ruined then that would make me happy. Guess what? Mr. Bill was totally listening to me and basically told me " you can make a new ring but I am sure, I can fix this ring to your liking" I told him that the jeweler that messed it up tried and it still didn't work. He said you just tell me exactly how you want it and I will do that. He basically said you don't have to waste money on a whole new setting!! I was like ... Wow ... This guy is awesome! He wasn't trying to rip me off he just wanted to see me happy!! So yes he fixed my engagement ring and it came out BETTER than it was when I originally got it!! It was completely to my LOVING So with all that I said so far ... I was looking for a wedding band to compliment my engagement ring ... Want to know where I went? Right here ... Guess what? I got a beautiful wedding band that was everything I was looking for!! Keep in mind ... I didn't know what I was originally looking for and I was hoping that he would tell me what would look nice ... Instead, we showed me all the things I could do and explained everything to me until I knew what I wanted ... He wrote everything down and then told me that he just need to get a quote for the diamonds and he did ... To my loving .... I approved the quote after showing my husband and picked up my ring today!! I am so loving my rings thanks to Mr. Bill. I will NEVER go to another jewelry store for the rest of my life!!! This is when I found Pacific Ocean Jewelers, located at 4211 Waialae Avenue, within Kahala Mall. The service here is A+ Awesome! This happened about a month or so ago, and then while removing my Blouse after work, the actual Chain itself broke, OMG!!! I said to myself " it's a Goner!!!" My husband reminded me of Pacific Ocean Jewelers and what they did for me before with my Necklace, so we made the drive to Kahala Mall. Once again without hesitation, the Gentlemen took a look at it and asked if I could leave it for a day or two and they would call me when done. He said, he can. I asked how much? Said, "$40". He showed me titanium earrings. He went in the back of the shop and brought his ear tool piercing kit. At first, it hurt he did both ears but it was quick. He told me to wear initial earrings for 2 weeks and try to move them around. I can't wait to wear my "Christmas gift earrings" soon! So I did a GOOGLE search for Vintage Engagement Rings and HEJB came up. Their website had the most photos that I could look at then any other one on Oahu! So I picked out 8 rings from their onlne website and made an appointment. My fiancee and I went and I tried on all of the rings that I had wanted to look at but I ended up not liking them when I actually wore them on my finger. You really have to try on a ring to see how the size and look fits on your actual finger-I learned that for sure. Luckily, Moesha, the owner had noticed that I was looking at vintage diamond engagement rings and he pulled out one that he had from his inventory for me to look at while we were there. And I am so happy that he did as it was THE RING! It was a beautiful 1920 Art Deco style ring with Old Mine cut and Old European Cut diamonds ( I found out that they were called this from Moeshe) It was the perfect ring for me! It seemed to fit perfect that day, but when I actually got it, it was slightly too big. So we called and were told to come in to get the ring re-sized. So I made another appointment and Moesha worked with me to find the correct ring size for my finger. I patiently waited 2 weeks and we just picked the ring up yesterday and it is PERFECT! And because i had asked Moesha for information on the ring so I would know what it was specifically he actually got the ring appraised at no extra charge! And he did not charge us as well for the resizing of the ring! I am SO HAPPY as I now have a ring that no one else has and a truly unique design that is so much my taste!
