Reliable Credit took a huge risk on giving me a car loan. David took the time to talk to me on the phone while I was at the dealership in order to find out why my credit had gone from fair to poor. I had to quit working for almost 4 years due to health issues. Given that explanation, David approved the loan. As it turned out, I relapsed before the first payment was due! I struggled to make the payments and after a few months I knew I was not going to be able to continue making the agreed upon payment amount. I talked to David and much to my surprise, he lowered my interest rate and monthly payment, just like that. He said, "I want to be part of the solution, not part of the problem". I was blown away. Last year I paid the car off after 5 years without the ability to work. It was a fantastic feeling and I cannot thank David and Reliable Credit enough. I had been looking for a Toyota Tacoma and had been to probably 15 or so dealerships all around PDX (mostly big brand name dealerships) however Dream City Auto had a white Tacoma for sale that I wanted to take a look at. I've bought and sold most of my cars privately, and I've always been very weary of private dealerships like this but went in with an open mind. On my "tour de dealerships" I had come across just about every sleazy salesman possible, and it's super easy to see right through that, so being a no-nonsense salesmen goes a long way with me. Bob "BBQ Bob" was quick to walk up and introduce himself as soon as we pulled in, we had spoke on the phone about the truck earlier that day and he was very nice and respectful. He had the keys ready and immediately went for a test drive as the truck had almost everything I was looking for, and was very pleasant to work with, and was not pushy at all. We went inside to talk numbers, told me a price that was apparently "not the price they should have told me" (nice tactic) but got them to agree to under the original price they told me and walked away with a really great truck! The truck had some accessory lights on it that didn't work, and they promised to fix the issue if I came back later this week and have their shop take a look. I was skeptical and held off writing my review to see how they'd handle this. Worked with Junior who is the shop manager and came in a few days later, had everything fixed and working within an hour and was very easy to work with and super flexible, and I really appreciate that. The dealership on the outside might look a bit like your typical "not to be trusted" used car/truck dealership, but honestly my experience with Dream City Auto was extremely pleasant and the negative reviews here seem to just be old/bad situations that the dealership really didn't cause. I would be happy to work with them again and thank you for the easy buying experience.

Almost four months ago I purchased a 2016 Ford F 250 6.7 diesel with 100,000 miles on it which is practically nothing for a diesel engine, had the pickup for a week and, the motor threw a rod essentially ruined the block.
