Ok, when I first reviewed this place years 2 years ago I gave it 5 stars. Sorry, but I don't like it anymore. They almost never call my husband to remind him of his appointment for a regular cleaning. Another time, he was 10 minutes late because of traffic and they told him he needed to reschedule. The last time I went for a scheduled regular cleaning Dr. Tanioka wasn't there and it was a different dentist. He only took xrays (AGAIN! They just did at my visit 6 months prior) and told me I needed to schedule a deep cleaning sooooo.... they didn't even clean my teeth. What a waste of time! It was going to be another $150 for the deep cleaning and another $50+ for an optional BUT recommended bacterial wash. I've NEVER had issues with my teeth. I scrape and floss daily. Funny that the day I use a new toothbrush they're telling me my gums are inflamed. On top of that, one of the part time girls working the front desk was struggling on the computer to help me schedule my next regular cleanings for the family. It was taking forever and the other girl working next to her was so rude and didn't want to help her. Why not help her out??? The poor girl was having such a hard time and it was frustrating watching her coworker knew what to do but wouldn't help out. My 8 year old son loves one of the girls cleaning his teeth because she was bubbly and singing and so I requested her to clean his teeth the next time, but they wouldn't allow it because she was a hygienist. Really? They've got a little kid excited to go back to the dentist but because she's the hygienist they won't allow it again. Sorry, but disappointing the past year. read more

I was very disappointed in my appointment today. I went in for an appointment at 3 pm, and had still not been seen by 4:20 pm. During that hour, no one came by and told me they were running behind - I finally got up and asked after 4 pm appointments showed up AND WERE SEEN! I asked how much longer it would be, and they said they were sorry, a few more minutes. I think they completely forgot about my appointment and were taking others. When they finally saw me at 4:25 pm, even the doctor asked the girl who took me back what took so long, and she couldn't give an answer. Afterwards, they said they "had an emergency" and that's why it took them so long to see me - but don't you think they would have said something in the hour I was sitting there that they were running behind or something came up? That's what frustrated me the most - they didn't communicate with me at all during the hour I was sitting there. Poor service. Extremely frustrated, as I had to leave work early and lost a ton of time due to poor management that day. read more

If you are looking for high pressure sales, poor customer service, egregious time management, and over priced dental work then Creekside Dental is the place for you! My son and Husband were seen at this facility twice, while the staff is nice enough, their lack of scheduling competency is what is most troubling. On the first visit they were examined and then told they had to come back for "ANY" work to be done, including the cleaning needed by my husband... Let me just clarify that this visit took 3 hours! My husband and my 5 year old son sat in the office for three (3) hours and had nothing other than x-rays and a cleaning for my son... My husband was told there was no time to complete any of his procedures that day. So fast forward to today (5/1/14) they are both to get their procedures completed, while my son is numbing a dental assistant comes in and says "new patient" and the dentist disappears for over 30 minutes. My son received a quarter of his treatments required and my husband was told to reschedule as they dentist did not have time to complete his procedures. But the dentist had 30+ minutes for a sales pitch on the new patient. I am not sure if these people at Creekside realize that we too have places to be and money to make, but 3 appointments for a cleaning and other procedures is absurd. read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST. They all work on commission. They will upsell you on every procedure. They lie about work that needs to be done. How do I know this? I got a second opinion. I chose this dental place because why not? My insurance is contracted with them but they are pricey even for dental cleanings I paid $70+ for the service. I see why people go to TJ for dental work. I had braces 10+ years ago and then my wisodm teeth decided to come in impacted and shift one tooth. If you're a perfectionist you'll notice it otherwise it's not that bad. Fast forward to now, I decided to look around for braces to correct the minor problem after having the wisdom teeth removed. I came for their complimentary orthodontic consult and saw Dr. Nina Yu. Quite the rude condescending dentist I've ever encountered. There's a way to tell people their teeth are crooked and because of it their face is messed up. She instructed me to go home and look at my face and compare my face and teeth to celebrities in magazines. OK my face is not that defected. I just wanted one minor correction for my bottom teeth and she suggests to remove some upper teeth to perfect everything because apparently I have some messed up front teeth. Then she says "you'll look back 10 years from now like in your wedding pictures (not even planning on getting married but OK) and you'll notice your teeth" and makes a face. Nice job selling insecurity. The reviewers are right, this is worse than a used car lot. read more

Patients Beware. Service is horrid. And yes I believe some of the ratings are fixed. Wait is long very unprofessional. Watch out ..looks like your buying a car off the lot. Don't let them sell you on deep cleaning or laser cleaning because that is what they do best not to mention they try to get you to buy the bridges, crowns saying it really the best. The most expensive route is what is what they tell you to do. But did you know as a patient you have the right to refuse? Ask around and get a good deal somewhere else. They do not care about the patient it all about the Money. read more

Since I had no option to put zero stars I had to put one. Please look at the recent ratings on their very own website. They speak for themselves. Initially everyone was very pleasant, but are now refusing to complete the services that were agreed on. I went in for a bridge repair and was in the chair for almost 8 hours. The Dr. created a crown to hold my"temporary partial." He also pulled a tooth, actually digging it out, which was very painful and took at least 2 hours. I even asked him to stop several times. They also fitted me for the "temporary partial." I was then presented with a bill that was described as a copay and I paid it. At that time I was shown a choice of two "permanent partials" and was told that the more expensive one was by far a better choice and held a guarantee. I was fitted with my "temporary partial" and it has had many adjustments, however it is still extremely uncomfortable and ineffective when I eat. I was told that it would be around 3 months before I would be healed and could be fitted for the "permanent partial." After following up with my Dental Insurance provider I learned that there should not have been any copay. When I informed the office of this they said they would follow up with Delta Dental and get back to me. To this day, they have avoided even speaking with me. I tried calling 3 times. They answered the 1st time. After this, they noted my phone number and put me straight through to their message machine. I did call from a friends phone after this, and they answered, but again said they would get back with me with any decisions on how to proceed. I even made a visit to the office and was told rudely that they would get a decision Monday, the 16th. and call or email me with their findings, practical pushing me out the door. I heard nothing and 2 weeks later called for the last time. I was told that I needed to speak to the office manager and put on hold. An employee who knows me, finally came on the line and told me that EVERYONE (office manager, Dr. and all staff) had just gone into a meeting. How convenient. I surely gave them the benefit of the doubt but their treatment of a patient is totally uncalled for. The staff at Creekside Dental cannot be TRUSTED! My provider has recommended that I file a grievance. In addition, I am seriously considering legal counsel and taking action. read more

What a great experience!! I've been a patient at Creekside for several years now and have never been disappointed by any of their staff members. Christie always has a warm greeting on arrival and there little or no wait waiting on arrival. I`ve paid $300 for a deep cleaning so far but was quoted approx, $1200. Job took about 1 hour with no complications. That's over $1000 per hour labor. Waitresses are paid less than $10, mechanics are paid around $100. Are these guys giving you any value for your buck? Yes I may be getting quality labor but I will be hurting on the transaction for many years!! read more

Painless root canal ! Yeah ! I thought it will be painful but I was wrong! Had my root canal done, then crown was immediately fitted in. One visit all done. Dr T is the best. read more

Creekside Dental is clean and tidy and easy to find. The employees are kind and helpful with a good sense of humor. The reminder email and call makes it hard to forget an appointment. Dr. Nguyen was clear about his plan for my mouth and answered my questions in a professional manner. The shots were painless and the work was fast. My teeth are extra sensitive and usually the doc has to continue giving me shots b/c I keep feeling the drilling. That wasn't the case here, as no additional shots were needed on a crown prep. The doc even helped out financially because he wanted to make sure I didn't keep breaking crowns (I'm a grinder and I've been known to break a crown or two). read more

This place is BS. I was given their info to call from my insurance. I came for my appointment for a cleaning. Not sure exactly what they did but it wasn't a normal cleaning that I was used to and l was informed that I would have to come back for a cleaning? Insurance contacted me that the office did not submit their information to them correctly for the 2nd appointment so I had to call the office to follow up. The person in charge of submissions called me back a week and a half later and said all was good with insurance and for my upcoming appointment. I showed up this morning and was told that I would have to pay for my cleaning when it is covered with insurance. Hello?! No. I explained to the people at the desk about my previous communication with the woman who submitted to insurance and she said nothing about me having to pay and they said well she's no longer there and they know nothing. Their lack of communication sucks. Don't go here! Only positive was the dental hygienist. read more

Unfortunately, I didn't consult YELP before going to Creekside Dental. It is the used car lot of Dentist offices. The front desk salesmen must be on commission. When I didn't agree to the $320 "deep cleaning" they told the hygienist she was only to clean half my teeth. Yep! I got half my mouth cleaned. The bonus: I was in and out of there in 2.5 hours. I didn't have all day ... I guess it's good I only had half my teeth cleaned (oh but wait, that part of the visit only took 7 minutes.) read more

The staff is so friendly and accommodating! I am so scared to go the dentist and hate every minute of it, however Creekside Dental staff recognizes my crazy fear and makes me so comfortable the whole way through! I love Creekside Dental! read more

I've always feared going to the dentist until last week when I met Dr. Walker! I cracked my tooth and had to get a crown, Dr.Walker explained the treatment very well so I was really comfortable throughout the entire procedure. At first I was worried I wouldn't be able to afford the treatment but luckily Jessica the treatment coordinator was kind enough to help me apply for care credit so I was able to get my tooth fixed the same day! I've never had such great treatment from both the doctor and the staff, so glad I finally found my dentist! read more

Excellent Dental Office with friendly and helpful staff. I've been a patient of Dr. Tanioka for a couple of years and have had outstanding service with each visit. When I needed a crown, Dr. Tanioka was able to accomplish it in one visit as they have the ability to design, mill and cure the crown on site while I waited. No second visit! I've had teeth cleanings from both Mona and Veronica and they are very professional, gentle and thorough. Jessica and others in the front office do an excellent job coordinating with my two insurance companies. Well done! read more

I found them by calling 1-800-DENTIST, they're very close to my apartment and they accept my insurance so that was enough to check it out. It's a very nice office, the receptionist was very welcoming and friendly. I had a cleaning and 2 fillings done. The doctor was really nice, made sure I was comfortable and got me out in about an hour which is good cuz who wants to be at the dentist longer than they have to be? I sure don't. I would highly recommend this office to anyone living in the area. read more

Went to creek side dental in Temecula I love how the staff and dentist are all very friendly. What I didn't like is the person at the desk asking you to sign forms only she can see on the computer via a plastic signature pad and stick. Secondly I was having gradual severe pain for over a month I was referred to an Endodontist for a possible root canal turned out no root canal after seeing 2 endodontists and 2 dentists at another office I was told "did your dentist tell you about the crack in your tooth". Uh no, I've only been to him 4 times After he put my temporary crown on pain gone immeadiately. Then I paid for a porcelin fused to metal. What I got was all metal and no money back. I felt comfortable with the staff and dentist and easy to get appointments so I wish I could stay there but I lost confidence that I could be diagnosed properly so now switching. read more

Creekside Dental is literally the best dentist I have been to. You never wait more than 5-10 minutes, they're thorough and really go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. I kind of hate saying the following since I don't want to see them overwhelmed by customers but, they asked me and I do owe their excellent and reasonably priced service respect. Dentist is kind and attentive and provides the time and information I need. Office staff is friendly, responsive, and takes the time to engage with the patients keeping them informed and comfortable. Best of all: no one was trying to up-sell me on services or expensive add-ons to the appointment. Staff is very opened about the costs for those services in which I'm interested and other options but there is no pressure once I'm in the chair with my mouth opened and my heart in my throat. read more

I have been coming here for 9 years and could not be more pleased with the quality of service and overall experiences I've encountered. Every time I visit I feel confident that I am in the best hands and I am always treated like family (they even put up with my extremely lame sense of humor) by everyone from Dr. Tanioka, to his staff; Tina, Jessica, Christina, and Jen. Even his hygienists are awesome! The amazing thing is that even with their excellent customer service, their procedural skills and the quality of actual dentistry services (and I have had numerous) are equally impressive and worthy of praise. A few of the other notable reasons for which I keep coming back, besides Dr. Tanioka's being awesome, is that they are extremely flexible with their scheduling. They have helped get me in on two separate occasions on the same day from different accidents I had experienced. The wait time, if any at all, is also something greatly appreciated. Overall this place is super and the proof rests in the many years I have been returning (let's face it, it's not like I don't have other options with the massive amounts of dentist offices available in the area), and as long as I have teeth, I'll continue coming back! read more

We recently had our 7 year old daughter in for a couple fillings. She was a little apprehensive about the whole "shot" deal. Dr. Tanioka and the staff at creekside really went above and beyond to make her feel comfortable and relaxed about the procedure. Dr. Tanioka was able to explain the procedures as he went in a way my daughter could understand and feel at ease. The whole visit and treatment was excellent from start to finish. Just finished getting my crown and I am not exaggerating when I say it was one of the best experiences I have had. I like to understand why and what is being done so having a staff that doesn't hesitate to explain and walk you through everything that is being done is very refreshing and reassuring. Dentist should have patients' need in mind, not their business need. I had a dentist before I enrolled in Creekside Dental due to insurance requirement. I had an intensive dental treatment, including deep cleaning before joining Creekside Dental. When I requested a general dental cleaning, Creekside Dental refused to do it for me, insisting deep cleaning procedure, even though I had just had a deep cleaning and very healthy gum. read more
