    Potato soup
    Marisa P.

Super cute fast French cafe that opened up in the old Arrosta space at the Pearl extension. More of a counter type set up with salads, sandwiches and brunch all day. Started with the leek and potato soup and it was deliciously thick and creamy. The nicoise salad was a little heavy on the tuna and slightly underseasoned. I would probably order a sandwich next time. Self serve iced tropical tea and house made lemonade. Overall a nice casual stop at the Pearl.

It is a cute little cafe that gives the French vibes. I bookmarked it when they first opened and yesterday was my first visit. The list is all types of French sandwiches and croissants and paninis. I decided to order the croque monsieur and use the panini bread instead. They are very flexible on how you want to customize your sandwich. I got the soup potage parmentier and the side of fries My friend got the pressed chicken sandwich in a baguette, the soup and at the end she tried the lemon tarte The food is very good! What is even better is they get their bread and croissant from Lacoste I really enjoyed my meal and the setting of the restaurant. Parking could be an issue

Bread pudding and iced lavender honey latte

I needed a place to catch up on some reading and relax. 10/10 aesthetically pleasing atmosphere and great customer service. I got a lavender and honey iced latte and the bread pudding. Both were not too sweet but fresh and creamy. Definitely will come back to try the lunch menu. Cutest place at the pearl.

The service was amazing .. though as they got busy about 6.30pm, service fell off a little. I do recommend a reservation for any time after 6pm. We started with small plates. The French Onion soup had a hearty flavor though it was more bread than broth. The Pear gorgonzola salad was amazing ... pears soaked in red wine paired with room temp gorgonzola, green and a light vinaigrette. The escargot brought yums. I had the braised short ribs. Super tender .. fall apart. I would have liked a little more veggies and a heartier sauce. The streak and fries was cooked and seasoned perfectly. For dessert, the creme brulee was glass on top and pure custard underneath ... perfect consistency. The mousse was a deep chocolate flavor with a tasty almond cookie. So many items I want to go back and try. Definitely recommend!!!

The croissant was everything a croissant should be--beautifully laminated, impossibly flaky, buttery, and so light that it melted away with each bite. But the true star for me was the lemon meringue tart. It was genuinely life-changing, striking the perfect balance between bright citrusy tartness and just the right amount of sweetness. Every bite was thoughtfully crafted. What really sets Saveurs 209 apart is the attention to detail. The pastry flavors feel intentional and refined, never overdone. Even the staff speaking French adds an extra layer of authenticity that adds to the experience. If you're craving delicious pastries, Saveurs 209 is absolutely worth a visit. I loved my Aphrodite Spritz :D ! My friend ordered the Athena Dion and the Santorini Bikini :) ! For our Happy Hour dishes, we ordered the Tirshi (butternut squash, harissa, and pepita chili crisp), the Dakos (marinated Texas heirloom tomatos, sourdough croutons, black olive salt, tulum and fresh Za' atar) and the Olive Oil Cake :) ! We really loved how a lot of the cocktail drinks and delicious dishes are Greek - themed ;) ! Our waiter was extremely attentive, friendly and prompt :) ! The ambiance is absolutely perfect for anyone to eat there solo, or with friends and family :) ! There is seating both outside and inside. For my first time there, we sat outside on the second level. If it wasn't so hot and humid, it would have been nice sitting outside. I would have preferred to sit inside during the summer. Except when we went, it was already early Friday evening, and most of the indoor seating at the bars and tables were taken. I would highly recommend this Mediterranean restaurant to anyone :D !
