Wonderful service, and a lovely little patio. It is a bit loud, as it's right by the firehouse. However, the atmosphere otherwise is very quaint. I ordered the royal crepe, grilled chicken breast sandwich, and the breakfast special. Let me just say, the crepes are so good! The chicken is well cooked and very flavorful. The eggs and hash browns were a little bland but the salt and pepper on the table helped. The bread was really hard but that didn't bother that much. The place is very clean and I would totally come here again! The sand which and the breakfast special came with a drink. You also get to choose your choice of bread. Not good. First time I went there we ordered a Nutella crepe with fruits and it was soggy and expensive. I decided to give it another try, thinking that ordering a plain Nutella Crêpe would be much better as there's really no way to mess that up. The crepe was chewy with cheap chocolate sauce drizzled on top and whipped cream. It was so soggy that they have to serve it in a plastic box because there's no way it could be put in a paper cone. Holy amazing. BF and I wanted crepes, and our usual spot was out of the way for our other plans. After a quick search I found this gem, and it was worth every penny. Cute clean little cafe w great outdoor area, great customer service, and the crepes... Bomb.com seriously. I got the Le P&J and he got the Du Soiel but I'm proably spelling that all kinds of wrong. The server kept trying to give us the wrong order, which okay maybe she was new and didn't know what she was serving. Unfortunately they just stopped caring about their restaurant. The restaurant itself is so cute but the furniture looks dingy and dated. I think it needs a paint job and to update their decor or at least maintain it. I ordered 1 rolled crepe to go which I thought since it was rolled and no prepared with anything would be quick but I waited 30 min for 1 crepe despite being the only one in line. There were already ppl sitting down before me but I was still the only one who just placed my order. I stood at the counter for a good 5 min before someone even looked up to acknowledge me and there were 3 women up front. When they finally decided to help me, no welcoming greeting or smile. They frankly all looked miserable to be there. The crepe I ordered was good but not exactly what I ordered. I ordered the brown sugar and butter rolled crepe. It did not come rolled or with brown sugar. And definitely not extraordinary for waiting 30 min. This place is so cute and has so much potential. Are you kidding me with the positive reviews??? This place is yuck. Coffee is lousy. Ingredients in crepes are cold, just a bunch of cold fruit stuffed into a bland tasting crepe and the full breakfast that included luck warm hash brown potatoes, 3 skinny slices of bacon and two over cooked over easy eggs, one slice of toast and all piled on top of each other looked like a great big mess you would find on the floor of a cattle feed lot. It's pretty good pricing for the location and it's easy to find. I loved how there was an outdoor seating area. I've been here a few times now, and while all of the crepes look delicious, I keep getting the chicken and spinach one- it's absolutely amazing and I'm addicted. There's always plenty of spinach, mushrooms, and chicken, and the creamy sauce that they put on top is incredible. I always make sure to get every last drop of it on my food because it's so good. One day, I'll bring myself to try one of the other ones. Service here is decent. You order at the register and pay upon arrival, find a seat (they give you a number), and then you wait a little while, maybe 10 minutes, and they bring you your food. But on a couple of occasions, they've had issues with the cash register or whatever and I've had to stand in line for a little while longer while they figure it out. I wish they had a little more indoor seating. Each time I come here, it's always full, so we sit outside, and for a summer brunch, it gets a little uncomfortably warm. Overall, a pretty good place. Came here with my BF around 8:28pm (I remember the time exactly because my boyfriend asked if they're serving still and told him of course since it's only 8:28), the worker was already putting tables and chairs away and fixing up, then when he walked behind us to go back to the register and take our order, he said something under his breath but we couldn't make out what he said.. (I heard the words to go but since he said it under his breath, I didn't really understand and thought he was talking to himself) So then my boyfriend puts in the order and the worker didn't even ask if the order was for here or to go.. after putting the order in, we got a table and waited for our order.. a couple minutes later, the worker brings us our order in a to-go bag!!! (Which I don't understand since this time it was only around 8:35 and they don't close till 9 which means we have more than enough time to finish our crepes) but we weren't going to argue so we just left and decided to eat our crepes in the car. And it gets worse, when we got to the car and were about to eat the crepes, THERE WERE NO UTENSILS! like really? You'll give us a to go order with no utensils? How are we going to eat this? I had the turkey, cheese, mushroom white white sauce crepe (I forget the name of it). It was quite yummy and filing. Compared to pricing on Colorado Blvd, the prices here are very reasonable ($8 per crepe). They had other breakfast fare, but when you go to a restaurant with a particular food in their name, then you should order that food. So, come here and order crepes (not omelettes or pancakes and such). I was quite impressed with the flavors and pricing. I'll return when I'm in the mood for a crepe. So this place is not super great for service but what they lack in service they make up in ambiance and excellent crepes. My favorite is the curry chicken crepe. But they are all good. One thing that I advise: add a bit of hot sauce on the savory crepes. It will add a new and better depth of flavor. There is no doubt in my mind that the crepes here are fantastic. I saw a few of them come out while I was waiting for my food, and they looked and smelled delicious. Unfortunately, I think I ordered the wrong thing. I was enticed by a sign out front that advertised a lunch special: any sandwich, served with either a small salad or a bag of chips, for $7. Not a bad deal. I ordered a chicken salad sandwich and chips. I can honestly say it was the most bizarre and least delicious chicken salad sandwich I've ever had in my life. It consisted of a few shriveled chunks of meat that were cooked almost beyond recognition, a slice of white American cheese, some sundried tomatoes out of the jar (why?), candied nuts (why??), and a glob of some goopy substance that resembled mayo. The sandwich was served on a stale French roll that had a strangely sweet aftertaste. It was also really salty. The food took forever to come out. I guess they needed some extra time to cook the bejeezus out of that chicken. My food was maybe worthy of one star. I'm throwing in an extra star for good measure because the girl working the counter was nice, and they have a nice outdoor patio that's dog friendly. read more
