I purchsed my first car ALL by myself last year at Crest Honda and was VERY impressed. I know take it to their Service Center for my oil changes, etc. They are very quick with the service and helpful to let me know what other items may need to be fixed. The price they charge is still CRAZY and I take whatever they tell me to my brother-in-laws place of work (Hackett Brothers in Murfreesboro) and get the service completed at a MUCH cheaper rate, including labor. All in all I am very happy with Crest and will most likely continue to get my at least my oil changed there. read more

Not a good experience at all. I had warranty work done on the family minivan. While the work was performed well, they returned the car FILTHY! They had been working on the roof, and apparently had opened the van doors and were using the door sills/floor as their step stool. There were white footprints (like drywall dust) all over the interior. I've never seen anything like it. Most dealerships use plastic covers on seats, paper floor mats, etc. I was floored by this. Then, to make matters worse, Crest has their computer call me. The recorded voice says "your satisfaction is very important to us! Where you completely satisfied with your recent experience?" I said "no," so the recording says "let me get you to a customer service representative." They left me on hold for several minutes, then said, "all our customer service people are busy now..." That really punctuated to me how much they REALLY care. read more

If I could give this dealership less than one star, I would. I had the absolute WORST experience in attempting to purchase a car from them. To begin with, when talking to Jeremy Farthing, the salesman I was dealing with, about buying a car they had on their lot and requesting a possible lower price, I was immediately met with severe rudeness. He called back later and stated that no cars were ever discounted unless they were on the lot "for a long time." This was a USED 2012 Ford Explorer, with absolutely no willingness to work with a potential customer about a lower price. I requested a price that was not even $2000 lower than the listed price and was told they would lose over $3000 by lowering it. I emailed the manager about my awful experience and received a call a WEEK later. I had missed the call and called back shortly after and had not heard back since. I have since purchased a car from a great dealership in Atlanta, I highly recommend them. Overall my experience with Crest Honda was awful from the very start. I was treated like an incompetent human being who had no knowledge of the car industry and who could not work a calculator. I have no doubt that I was met with such rudeness due to the fact that it was a woman who called to talk about the vehicle rather than a man. I would NEVER suggest this place to anyone else. Ever. WOW!! That is the theme of this review. The people at Crest Honda are the best!! If you are buying a Honda, buy it there. Their service will WOW you! We are from Chicago and were travelling thru the Nashville area when our van broke down around 2:30PM. My family was in a city we are not familiar with, and our van would not run. This could have been a nightmare for the family. Instead, Crest Honda made an awful situation into a very tolerable one. My wife called Crest Honda in desperation. We had no idea what to do. Zac Harris was outstanding!! He calmed my wife down and provided the name and number of a towing company. He also told us that if we could get the van to the dealer before 5:00, he would have a technician try and fix it before the day was over. WOW!!! The van arrived at the dealer around 4:30 and Zac was able to get someone to evaluate the situation. They determined the repair would take a few hours, so it would have to be in the morning. Luckily, there was a hotel right across the street, so the family stayed there. In the morning, Crest Honda went right to work on the van. They determined the breakdown was caused by an error in the repair at the dealer in Chicago and that the transmission was shot. They found a way to get us back on the road to Chicago with a temporary fix so we could go home. WOW!! The double WOW happened after we arrived home. Zac called to make sure we arrived home safely. I went to Crest Honda for a recall notice. I asked if they would fill the washer fluid in the process of fixing the problem . I got an inspection and they informed me that my front brakes needed repair, a drive belt was cracked and needed to be replaced and three "fluids" in my car were dirty. I authorized the work though I am a little skeptical about its urgency....and they charged me a chunk of change.... I drove out of the garage and down the road in the rain and discovered I still had no window washer fluid in the car. Grrrr.... employees were nice. I'm sure the work is fine but customer service means listening to your client. And folks, it's the simple things. You got your sale and I got an opinion of your business. read more

Took my Pilot in for service today. It was our first experience at Crest. The automated service scheduling system was nifty, and the staff who scheduled the service were polite and knowledgeable. The check-in was quick and courteous. I like that you're assigned to one service advisor so that you have one person who knows everything that's going on with your vehicle. The waiting area is about the nicest around. Free wi-fi, fountain drinks, popcorn, and hot dogs. Comfortable seating and TV. So I left and noticed that something still wasn't quite right with a shudder in the steering wheel at highway speeds. When I came back to have them check it out, the service tech left his lunch break to do a ride along and answer my questions (some that I should have asked before leaving in the first place). The customer service was top notch, and now everything is all fixed. I will certainly return for future service at Crest. It's obvious that they value their customers, even when we're a little quirky. This was one of the best service experiences I've had. And a special thanks to Rodney Long who was my service advisor. Rodney was patient and thoroughly listened to my concerns, and responded quickly and professionally to them without hesitating. You rock! read more

I'm on my second Honda Civic lease with Crest. Last Saturday night, I was stranded with a low battery, and the car was towed to Crest that evening. Monday morning, I called early, and spoke to the seitchboard operator. Robert the service writer returned my call promptly. The battery had already been replaced, and a recalled fuel sensor was replaced. No charge, under warranty, he said. I needed to have the car ready by 12:45pm to get to work by 1pm nearby. When I arrived at 12:30, Robert got my car washed and ready for me ASAP, with all the warning lights reset, a new battery, and a clean car. I recently moved to Nashville from Indianapolis. I was way overdue for a service & oil change. I quickly googled a Honda place in Nashville, and chose Crest Honda. I called on a Friday afternoon, and they were able to get me scheduled for an appointment first thing Monday Morning. I was running a few minutes late (Nashville Traffic), but they were very accommodating and understanding. I was planning on Ubering to work afterwards, but Honda Crest informed me that they have drivers that could take me to work. My driver was very sweet and was fun to talk to, my work was 15 minutes away so we chatted a while. Once I got to work, I was reading Yelp reviews about Crest Honda, and was worried because I read so many awful reviews. My car took a little longer than we anticipated, but I wasn't too surprised because it had been so long since I had it serviced. Crest Honda picked me up from work at the end of the day, and drove me back during rush hour. My driver was different, but he was just as great! Took back roads to avoid all the rush-hour traffic, which I'm thankful for because otherwise it would have taken forever. Zac was my service rep, and he was excellent. Once I arrived, the payment process, and getting my car was very short, which was nice! My overall experience at Crest Honda was exceptional! I will be returning to Crest Honda for future oil changes and services. Don't let a few bad reviews discourage you from going. read more

I have been lied to time after time, first they lied about my interest rate, then just to sell the car they give me discount and didn't apply it to final price, I cancelled one of the extra warranty service and it is been two months that they deny to pay my money. My service staff member Tucker was extremely friendly and told me that it would take about 2 hours to get it all taken care of. (which I was fine with, I had brought things to keep myself entertained.) But to my delight Tucker came back with the keys to my car in about 45 minutes and told me I was all set to go! No service after the sale. I purchased a new CR-V on April 30,2017. I was charged all the sales tax at the time of purchase. They never sent the tax to the State so I had to pay it. They have not responded to my repeated requests for a refund of the tax. In reality I paid an extra $1,000 for a vehicle. The sales staff refuses to talk with you after the sale. Chris, our service agent, was very kind and helpful, keeping us informed at each step. I particularly want to thank him for his persistent willingness to contact the extended warranty company to be sure we didn't have to pay anything but the small deductible for the fix! I've seen other repair shops tell me it wasn't worth their time to deal with "those" insurers. Chris rocks! And, of course, being who we are, we had to look at new cars while on site. Fady was an incredible host, who indulged us by answering all our questions, letting us drive cars, helping us figure out possible prices and financing. He proved to us that all those awards on his desk have to do with hard work, patience, a winning personality, and some very cool shoes! I went to Crest Honda to get my car serviced. They were very welcoming and had be walk around with them while they were doing an inspection of my car. Based on the time I got there they were already busy which was understandable so I went into the waiting area which was very comfortable. While I was waiting I went to look at some of the newer model cars as I'm looking to get another Honda when I'm ready. Nate D. Allen was the salesman that greeted me. He was very personable. I don't think these guys are dishonest but their customer service and pricing is extremely poor. I took my car in for a basic service and was advised a fair bit of additional work was required including re-padding rotors that Crest installed 5 months prior that have fewer than 5K miles on them. I placed 4 phone calls over the course of the last week leaving messages directly with my original Technician and then with other service managers to see if that work would be covered by warranty (it was otherwise quoted at $175). Today I finally got hold of someone and was told I would have to bring the car in for an inspection to see if the re-padding was warrantied and needed. I pushed back saying they knew when they installed them, how many miles were on them and were perfectly willing to charge me to have them re-padded when the car was in their shop. I was told someone would call me back a few minutes later with an answer and that time has long since passed. I give up. For the record, the additional work recommended was going to total about $2K at Crest. I got it all done at another garage for $1300. read more

Took my '07 Accord in for Inspection and failed because I had bought a generic gas cap. Decided to take it to Crest to get the OEM Honda gas cap for the Accord. Charged me $70 for the gas cap!!! Do NOT take your car to be serviced there. It is a rip off!!! BTW, I did buy my new Accord there only because they had the best pricing on the window at the time which was very good but I have never once taken it there for even an oil change... I brought a 2018 Honda Accord April of 2018 my salesman was supposed to provide me with two key fobs since the car is a push start. He only provided me with one. I have been back several times and they never have my key fob available. The guy that make the keys is only there on Monday mornings for about an hour. I went this morning for around the third time and once again they don't have my key available . This is very inconvenient. They asked me to come back next Monday but i have a job i can't keep coming every Monday for them to tell me the same thing about another key. So within a year in a half i still only have a one key fob for my vehicle smh. This is very disappointing and makes me very angry read more

To start off I should say we live 50+ miles from Crest Honda but they had 3 cars that we were very interested in. Being a ways away we wanted to make sure everything was still on the lot before we made the trip. My wife called and talked to a sales person who assured her they had every vehicle available. She also asked if there was any play in any of the prices before we decided to make the trip as well. She was told they would be room but would not haggle over the phone, which I can understand. She called one more time as we were driving to the location since it was after work and we may have to negotiate rush hour traffic. My wife again was reassured they would bargain on the price and all three vehicles were available to show. We show up and guess what? Only one vehicle on the lot the other two were either sold or transferred to another lot. The one vehicle to remain on the lot was the most expensive (imagine that). The salesperson we got when we arrived was not the one we talked to and he seemed to be very nice, but when asked how much room was in the most expensive car he informed us that they do not negotiate? Everything they told her was a lie to get us on the lot and try to sell her a car. We wasted about $30 in gas and our time which is more valuable because of lies. When a person is willing to spend thousands at your location, trust should be a big part of the process. If one is willing to lie to someone knowing they live so far away ten everything they say should be questioned. We tried calling for a reasonable explanation but none was given. Folks be careful and double check anything they say before you buy. I would recommend you just find a more trustworthy establishment. read more

Absolute worst Honda dealer experience. Service center is unorganized and doesn't take appointments for oil changes. I showed up before the service center opened for an oil change, they took my car in at 7, told them I had an appointment at 10am, at 9:30am I asked if the car was almost done only to be told it hadn't even been started on yet. I called Waltrip Honda and they were able to get me in immediately. I would highly recommend not going to this dealership if it can be avoided! read more

The transmission failed on my 2001 Civic, but I was able to get it towed to Crest with little difficulty. After a few days of good customer service, but repeatedly incorrect estimates of completion time vexed me. I received my car with a newly rebuilt transmission nearly a week later. Upon getting my receipt, there was listed that an engine mounting bracket was damaged (which had not been there a few days prior during an inspection). Starting my car, it was apparent that this was an understatement as the whole car shook immediately upon idling for any amount of time. Subsequently, an inspection from a trustworthy dealer elsewhere found that there were "...at least 3 broken engine mounts." There is no reason for this to have happened. Short of considering a purposeful damaging of my car, I don't know what to think. Will never return. read more

We bought a 2003 Honda Element from Crest this past week. The car is in great shape and we were happy overall with the shape of the car. The problem however was with Crest itself. We asked if it was a non smoker, they said yes it's a non smoking vehicle. They also sold it with two working keys, one key fob, and a valet key. A day after we got the car, we found numerous cigerette burn holes in the cracks of the seats as well as a strong smokers odor began to come back. They simply had fumigated the car and sold it as a non smoking vehicle. The first person that got in our car with us asked why it smelled like smoke. Awesome. We've now spent three days cleaning the inside and have purchased two types of smoke clearing units to get it to smell clean inside. Second, we found out the second day that the spare key doesn't work. It acts as if the chip hasn't been activated. I called the dealership as in the past, these kinds of issues with other dealers are easily taken care of. Crest simply said no, they are unwilling to fix it. Even though the car was sold with two working keys. Do not buy from Crest! The management is a joke and has no idea what the definition of customer service means or caring for the client. TL;DR: do not expect fast or friendly service unless you are buying a vehicle. Had a decent experience when I bought my car from them which is the reason for 3 stars; however, I recently totaled this car unfortunately and through purchasing got their third party warranty. I needed to file the gap insurance claim for the remaining value of the car but gap insurance would not process the claim since it showed a warranty on the bill of sale. I had to contact Crest to cancel the warranty. I contacted crest, waited on hold for awhile, to be told all financial advisors were busy. So I left a message, and got a call back that day. I was told I had to hand deliver a form from my insurance stating the car was a total loss with the odometer reading. Keep in mind I was working with less time since I had just gotten a new car and did not want to pay on a vehicle I no longer had. I work 40 hour weeks, was out of time to take away from work and asked if I could scan and email it. After being told again that I would need to bring it in because there are forms I have to sign, after asking if they could just send me the forms to send back to them I was finally told "that will delay the process but sure". So, I got the form from insurance, sent it in at 11am that day and waited until about 3pm to call since I hadn't received anything. I got an answer on the phone immediately, asked if they had received it, I was told "yes" and nothing more. Fast forward a day, I had not heard anything so I used my short lunch period to run over there with the physical form. Signed a whole ONE piece of paper while I was there, they made a copy of my form, told me the warranty takes 6-8 WEEKS to cancel, and I left. Fast forward 3 days, I finally get an email that says "there will be no refund. The warranty shows as expired due to time". So I waited a total of about 4 days to be told this when I could have filed the claim already based on this new information. It was evident I was being blown off because I was not buying a vehicle. So, a few weeks ago I met salesman Troy Kelly. He was great to work with! I asked him to keep me informed by text and he did. The 2nd text he sent me wound up being the car meant for me. I was driving to Nashville and several lights on my dashboard lit up. I'd never seen anything like it. I got to the dealership and after they looked at my car they said I just needed an oil change. That cost $186! Two days later when I was returning home from Nashville, my dashboard lit up AGAIN. When I finally got to my regular dealer, I was told my timing chain was bad. I'll be charitable and say that they are totally incompetent, probably worst service team ever. After my last experience, I thought I'd give them another chance since they are closest to where I live, so it is more convenient. Took my van in for oil change. The van also had vibrations at high speeds. They said tires need rotation and balance, gave estimated time of 1 hour for the whole thing. It took them an hour to come back and tell me that two of the tires need changing, and that it will take another 1 - 1.5 hours. (Why couldn't they tell me that as soon as they started on the tires?) These are the run-flat tires that only Honda can change. So, cursing the day I decided to buy an Odyssey, I agree to shell out about $800 additional. Another hour later they told me that it needs some kind of a ring, another $150. Well, 4 hours and more $1,000 later, I drove off -- the vibrations were still there! They told me that the mechanic had taken it for a test drive after fixing it, but clearly either someone was lying or they are just nincompoops. Immediately took it back, and this is when their genius really impressed me -- without taking another look, or even taking it for a test drive, they said that I need a new axle which would normally be $840, but they will give me a 25% discount (because they are so magnanimous I suppose). Finally I left and on the way back home, the engine light came on! Called them and of course, they asked me to bring it back so they can take a look. Have others had similar experiences with them? Is this systematic? If anyone at Honda (not a dealer/service person) is reading this: what does "Honda Certified" mean? All the people in the service department were Honda Certified. Does it mean that you are capable of getting out of bed, putting on clothes and coming to work? Also, really disappointed the way that the proprietary run-flat tire mechanism forces us to get our van fixed at high priced and incompetent dealer shops. read more

Also confirmed that it was the original door. At this point all three men tried to find unjustifiable damages to my truck without directing their attention at the problem at hand. I want my truck replaced for I had purchased a new truck and deserve another one in its place. She declined my request and then put a 6 day limit on when they would only validate the discount offer. When I took the car in for an adjuster to look at the truck concerning the accident, I then asked for an estimate for the crack that was on the passenger side of the door (not involved in wreck) When the adjuster look at that damaged he informed me that the door was repaired incorrectly and that was what was causing the cracking in the door. He stated that the repair service did not apply " bondo/skin" correctly. The passenger door has never been wreaked before. And I'm the only owner of the truck. Therefore the truck had to have been wreaked before purchase. I took it to the dealership to resolve the problem: 1st. I spoke with Robert Holley, General Manager: (615-324-2982) and advised him of the situation. Then he pawned me off to Mark ?, Excutive Manager: 615-832-5155, then he pawned me off on to Ray-Repair Manager 615-832-5177 and he confirmed that it was bondo and that it was not applied correctly. Also confirmed that it was the original door. At this point all three men tried to find unjustifiable damages to my truck without directing their attention at the problem at hand. I want my truck replaced for I had purchased a new truck and deserve another one in its place. She declined my request and then put a 6 day limit on when they would only validate the discount offer.
