Pretty bad customer service. The elderly woman is downright awful. I was talked at and lectured after I had asked about why I couldn't get something printed on a particular size of paper (I am not familiar with the logistics behind printing on larger sizes of paper, so I was just curious). The quality of the product itself was decent, though some mistakes were made. Staples and Kinkos would have been better choices. read more

this is my go to place for all things printing. their end product always looks amazing. beyond the products though, are why i continually go back here. the staff is so friendly and helpful. i brought in some files for printing and the staff helped me understand how to line everything up and prep the images for printing. their patience and kindness in helping a newbie was much appreciated. they are also very quick with orders. will continually go back :) read more

Westside Print Center, Greg, specifically has really out done themselves ONCE AGAIN. I must be the type of customer that they want to RUN or HIDE or NOT ANSWER the phone when they see my # on the caller ID. Cuz it always seems to be a rush job. This time is was "Can you get this done for me in 1.5 hours?????" & THEY DID course it's customary to charge for the rush job as they have to stop all the other print jobs in que & slip mine right in there, which they are happy to do & can accommodate. It was really important meeting & they made it happen on the flip of a dime. Thanks Westside Print Center & Greg we'll miss your great service since you'll be moving soon. :( I'm sure hoping I can keep writing these great reviews of the OUTSTANDING customer service I've been receiving. The service that Westside Print Center (and Sheila in particular) for a recent conference program (around 600 copies of a program that was 64 pages in length) was above and beyond great. They had to deal with several issues, including poor quality photos, last minute changes and additions, and, with less than a week deadline (normally they would get the material with 3 weeks to print it out), they managed to come through with flying colors. I've done quite a few things there, they've been great. They run the machines and software, not guess-at-scanner-resolution-then-wait-in-line-a-while-to-pay like Kinko's. They'll fax out of the country, or generally figure things out for you. Listening to the staff sniping at each other is pretty entertaining! read more

While Westside Print Center has some glowing reviews, I find what's more telling of a place of business are consistent, bad reviews. I had a project for my son's first grade class. Involved printing 18 children's photos and binding them onto a book. Each file I had was emailed to me by my designer friend, two children per email (9 emails). They moaned when they realized that was the way I was going about transferring the images to them, emailing one email at a time. Files were made on a Mac and I was forwarding from my iPhone. That brought up technical issues on their end of having one Mac in the office. They tell me they need to charge me "computer time" to which I had no complaint, simply responding with, "how much will that cost?" They didn't even have a figure. The "computer time" remark came across more as a complaint on their end. We try to trouble shoot with an easier file transfer. When they spoke to my friend on the phone, he yelled at her to stop uploading the images onto their file download system on their website, and flat out said he doesn't want to do the job if he has to open them one by one. We took that for face value and i went to staples on National near Sawtelle. Just as I had done at WPC, I emailed each file to the clerk there, standing right next to her at her computer (at her request). In literally 5 seconds after she got my emails, she has compressed them onto one file and was printing me samples! All on a PC! We finalized the order without a single complaint on their end (and certainly not mine!) and the job will be done tomorrow. She even made me one complete set from which she'll duplicate the copies I need, so I know there will be no errors when I do come to pick up tomorrow. Prices are comparable but I'd happily pay the premium if I can work with competent people! Totally agree with the negative, 1-star reviewers: all the people there are rude and don't want to delve into projects that aren't in their niche. My project was for my son's first grade class. Wasn't the most technically- or design-heavy project and I'm sure other projects are more involved. I tried my best to support the local business community but I'm loving corporate America today! Go anywhere but here. I could have copy/pasted remarks from the 1-star reviews and they would completely describe my experience today. read more

I called and asked about making a custom made receipt. A man picked up (I forget what his name is).I was very polite and asked how I would go about it. He said to come in and give them a general picture of what I wanted. During the conversation, he had a really negative tone but I still decided to go in because I figured it was just me. When I get there, a woman asks what she can help me with. She was very nice. I told her that I spoke on the phone with a man (she knew who I was talking about) and that I was coming in to get a custom made receipt done. She said she would get the man from the back. When she went to the back, I heard the man very loudly tell her that he was not going to come to the front. He really made it uncomfortable for me to stay there, let alone give them my business. I just wanted to go over with him what we went over on the phone and get the ball rolling. He clearly did not think it was necessary. I cannot speak on their work but judging from the man's customer service, I would never go there again. I went to another store after that where they were much nicer and I made my order. I would say where but then it would look like I was just trying to take customers away from Westside Print Center. I am just telling you my experience.
