I walked in to basically a bare bones shop that focuses on take out. Someone was coming out as I was coming in. I think they've only been owas greeted quickly. I've been to the new location several times and each time it has been great! The papaya salad is my favorite and the prices are very reasonable. I can't speak to the service or ambiance as I ordered take out. However the food? Good. I ordered the Chicken Fried Mama Noodle. I expected like a chow mien type of noodle but it was giving top ramen with fresh vegetable ingredients. Tasty, savory, but nothing to write home about. I'd say it's priced very fairly for what it is. I also ordered the egg rolls, which was 6 of them, very tasty. Very crunchy. Will I be back again? Probably, I'd like to try their other menu items. They need to change their frying oil. I ordered egg rolls around March 23. First thing I tasted was old, slightly rancid oil.

$11 or $12 for crispy stir fried noodle meal and 6 eggrolls, in 2025 is a STEAL. I've never had that kind of noodle and I enjoyed it. I ate on it all day. Opened by the 7/11 in Forrest Ave. New location and from what I heard graduated from a truck operation to a store front. Congratulations and May the Road Rise with you. Had to try at least the egg rolls. Two of us got an order of 6 Chicken Egg Rolls for around $7+. Service was kind and efficient. While we waited we explore their little store with several ethnic products, refrigerated item included. Very enterprisingly smart. Egg Rolls arrived hot and crispy. Small sized, chicken microscopic if present at all. Served with traditional sweet and sour. Easy to eat. Kept staring at menu items wondering how good they would taste. Like Curry Soup, Sausage and Sticky Rice, Fried Rice which always calls the attention. Quite a dynamic menu options to be further encountered. Egg Rolls average while affordable to a certain degree. Boy! Jack in the Box Egg Rolls are twice the size, but many know how uneven their frying standards can be. Crispy Eggroll were fried well, but not exciting enough and the filling, little of it, nothing to fall off the chair for. Will be back for a couple more items and see said the blind man. Arrived at 2:10pm. only 1 customer in the restaurant. We placed an order and waited 35 minut s for grills and fried rice. 6 or more customers orders at counter as well and received their food within 10 minutes es and we still lol we're waiting. Seems To Go customers were more important. Almos all got their food before us. Plus no discriminations of what exactly is in the dishes on menu board. Tasty Asian food at a very reasonable price. I am not familiar with Hmong food, but the Hmong sausage and sticky rice was very good. The rice was some of the best I've had in my life. Properly cooked, not mushy with great texture and very sticky. The eggrolls were simple, delicious, hot and very crispy. So far it's my favorite Asian food in Chico, but that's not saying very much. Fly was in their chili oil which i put in my noodles before even noticing, mixed up my noodles and took two bites and saw it and didn't eat anymore of it. Called them immediately and they said I could come back to get a replacement. Called them on my way and was told they sold out of their curry noodle and I said that's fine can I get the sticky rice noodles instead which they said yes. I arrive and they wanted to just give me an extra chilli oil, now why would I want a replacement chili oil when a fly was in it to begin with? Was told two different times I could get a replacement meal to arrive and not receive what I'm told. Wasted my money. read more

I've only tried two things on the menu And I am very impressed. Hmong sausage with sticky rice is amazing with the sauce they give you.. spicy with a strong cilantro taste. Egg rolls are egg rolls.. unless they're cooked perfectly and these are. The sweet and sour sauce is not some red dyed cornstarch and sugar sauce. I think it has garlic pineapple and a little peeper flake, very tasty. Last time I was there I was talking to a guy that said he comes from willows just to have their food. The second time I was there another guy was getting the curry soup.. on a 100 degree day. He said it was that good. This may be my go to spot when I'm in chico for lunch. read more
