Amazing Hmong food & service. Staff is always professional. If you haven't tried this place, it's a must.

Loved this family owned place when they were a Food Truck off of MLK and Skyway. Now they have a new location off of Forest Avenue. Check em out you wont be disappointed....

Came out in a Friday night, it was really busy, I counted 23 customers, while I was waiting for my order. The food was good, it was fresh and had good flavor. I definitely recommend the eggrolls, hot and crispy. The wait was LONG, but I give them grace as they are still working out the kinks. Their Asian market has great items and the cost is low.

Opened by the 7/11 in Forrest Ave. New location and from what I heard graduated from a truck operation to a store front. Congratulations and May the Road Rise with you. Had to try at least the egg rolls. Two of us got an order of 6 Chicken Egg Rolls for around $7+. Service was kind and efficient. While we waited we explore their little store with several ethnic products, refrigerated item included. Very enterprisingly smart. Egg Rolls arrived hot and crispy. Small sized, chicken microscopic if present at all. Served with traditional sweet and sour. Easy to eat. Kept staring at menu items wondering how good they would taste. Like Curry Soup, Sausage and Sticky Rice, Fried Rice which always calls the attention. Quite a dynamic menu options to be further encountered. Egg Rolls average while affordable to a certain degree. Boy! Jack in the Box Egg Rolls are twice the size, but many know how uneven their frying standards can be. Crispy Eggroll were fried well, but not exciting enough and the filling, little of it, nothing to fall off the chair for. Will be back for a couple more items and see said the blind man. Love the set up, trying to establish themselves as a viable operation which only time can tell, but one thing is true: the better the food and value the more recognition. 3.4 Stars.

Arrived at 2:10pm. only 1 customer in the restaurant. We placed an order and waited 35 minut s for grills and fried rice. 6 or more customers orders at counter as well and received their food within 10 minutes es and we still lol we're waiting. Seems To Go customers were more important. Almos all got their food before us. Plus no discriminations of what exactly is in the dishes on menu board. A little disappointed as my friend from out of town who was treating had the same experience.

The drink quality and snacks really stand out and could compete with the various shops you might find all over the Bay Area. The popcorn chicken has a nice texture and has the desired taste you expect from a Taiwanese style snack. It isn't the non sense store bought chicken that you might find at other shops or restaurants that try to cut costs. I really appreciate how you can taste the tea in the various drinks. Many boba places get this wrong by using too much syrup or get it too watered down. However, the ratio and tea taste is perfect here. The experience with the staff members here for the past few months has been more than great. Overall, Project Tea is the only place you should go to for boba if you live near Chico State.

They are famous for their Poké bowl, but we only did sushi this time (my willpower deserves recognition).. The edamame was excellent and their miso soup is still one of my favorites anywhere. It just tastes different... richer and more intentional than the usual versions. I'm a huge saba fan and theirs was exactly why I keep coming back... clean, fresh and done right. My kid had the tataki and it was the same story there, super fresh and gone in about thirty seconds. We also had the Gilroy (yum) Japanese Cowboy, Red Dragon, Hibachi Sunset and Lotus Cobra. The Lotus Cobra is one of those rolls you order once and then it just becomes part of your future. The ambiance is probably my favorite in Chico. It's one of those places where you can have a great meal and some top tier people watching at the same time. Service is always solid, friendly without being fake, and everything from the dining area to the bathrooms is consistently clean. I'll just say it... I wish we had a place like this back on the Mendocino Coast. Until then, this is always going to be my Chico sushi stop. If you like fresh fish, good energy and a place that just feels dialed in, Rawbar is hard to beat.

I've been craving the oyster hot shots and Shaka tuna for yeeeears. I've even tried recreating those hot shots at home more times than I'd like to admit, and I still can't crack whatever magic they're doing back there. Now onto the new stuff. We ordered the special dry-aged nigiri sampler, and my mom couldn't stop talking about how much it reminded her of the way fish and sushi are treated in Japan. Thoughtful, balanced, and intentional. It was such a refreshing break from the AYCE-style spots where the fish-to-rice ratios can feel quite careless. Almost forgot! Our server was amazing. Gah I forgot his name. So professional and knowledgeable about everrrrrything. We were super comfortable in the new lounge area, which I would say is much cozier and dare I say sexier than the old motif which was kinda industrial. If they ever open a location in Los Angeles (hint, hint), I'd be first in line.
