Martin the owner is hilarious and very friendly -- we both loved the story of the winery!

We came for pizza Saturdays and fell in love with it all. We loved the majority of the wines and walked away as members. The owner, Martin, chatted with us a bit and was very hospitable and funny. The pizza was delicious. The views were fabulous. A nature trail wraps around the property. There's an inn and other rental homes on the property - we met a couple as we were wine tasting that told us the breakfast at the Inn was AMAZING so it seems like we will have to be back to stay!

MUST STOP HERE!! This place is 10/10. We had the opportunity to stay at the inn for two nights and were already planning our return. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. The wine at this boutique vineyard is delicious, bought some to take home. Last but not least we can't say enough about how friendly Martin (owner) and Julia (tasting room manager) were. Don't miss out, check this out.

This place was great! We stayed for two nights and really enjoyed our experience. We were able to drive just 30 minutes to the coast through the rolling hills. Our hosts were very kind, and the room was charming. We even had glasses of wine waiting for us upon arrival. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family!

Prior to my wife booking our stay at Croad, I had never heard of it. You won't find their wines at any grocery store or wine store because they are a small boutique winery. Their grapes are dry-farmed (only subsisting on natural rainwater and ground water the vines can extract from their long roots). The result is a "stressed," smaller, grape that concentrates the juice which translates into a more flavor intense wine. Well it shows in their products. I have always loved a red blends and fuller wines and Croad is our first membership. They have a super cozy inn with 4 bedrooms near the tasting room (key location) and another ranch house at the entrance to the property that you can rent out for larger groups. Martin and Patty are welcoming hosts who make some pretty darn good wine. Check it out!

Ohhhh I love the wine here! So delicious and rich! What a treat to have this wine! The wine was so good that my friend signed up for the wine membership club. The view of this place is spectacular. You can sit indoors or out on the patio. One our 2nd visit, we ordered a bottle and sat on their outdoor patio. If you haven't tried Croad wine, it's worth a stop!

We stopped by during our day of wine tasting and this was our first stop. Everything was wonderful! We left with a couple bottles of vino. We will definitely be back when we visit Paso Robles again.

If I could pick my favorite wine and vineyard in Paso Robles it would have to be Croad Winery. The owner is a Kiwi from New Zealand and he does dry farming. The result is a very bold rich tasting wine unlike the others we have tried. You can make a reservation for a tasting and then get a cheese plate and enjoy the beautiful view. Martin and Patty have built beautiful grounds in the vineyard where you can sit and relax with a view of the vineyard and enjoy a tasty pizza for lunch which is made in an outdoor pizza oven. There are nature trails through the property that are nicely shaded. You can also play corn hole or bocce ball. We stayed over night in their bed and breakfast inn and had the best sleep ever in their comfy beds. Rosy took good care of us making sure we had fresh fruit and freshly brewed coffee. We joined their wine club so we will be back a lot. Thanks Martin, Patty, and Rosy for taking such good care of us on our vacation. This will be our home a way from home for many years to come. Happy Yelping!

Loved it! Plenty of seating, but still an intimate spot to have a sip and conversation. We were greeted when we came in, and she took us to a neat area in the back where they host weddings. Beautiful views, well maintained landscaping, tables and chairs were comfortable and clean, and she was super knowledgeable. We didn't try the cheese plate, but we brought our own food. Super cute small business-vibe with some rad wines! Will be coming back!

Accidentally found this winery while in Paso and really loved it. It's a bit of a drive to get to but the grounds are super cute and the views are spectacular. We enjoyed the wine as well. The hostess was welcoming and we just did a glass instead of a full tasting. Parking is free and easy. They also have a hotel attached in case you want to stay and relax here. Lovely spot in Paso!

We took a wine tour with Grapeline and this was by far our favorite stop. Every single wine we tasted was so good, but the Syrah and Zinfandel were incredibly delicious. We ended up ordering a glass of each to enjoy on top of our tastings. And yes, we ended up taking a few bottles home. The views at Croad are just beautiful. The service was friendly and we were helped by everyone working the day that we went. I highly recommend stopping here and trying what they have to offer.

We checked in and were treated to a tasting of their Zinfandel Nouveau upon arrival while they got out table ready... nice and refreshing for a warm afternoon. We were seated in the separate dining room building across the patio with lovely panoramic views of the vineyards on one side and a floral garden on the other. Josh, our server, poured our 4 other shared tasting flight as we perused the menu... Chardonnay, Grenache, Syrah and Super Paso (red blend). Wines were all lovely, but our favorites were the Zinfandel Nouveau and an extra treat pour of Zinfandel. The food was delightful too... * Focaccia with Avocado Butter -- So good (and I don't usually indulge in bread). Nice lightly crunchy crust with soft chewy centers. * Marinated Olives * Golden beet salad with arugula, picked onions and artichoke feta dip -- yum, and perfect dipping to finish off the focaccia. * Fresh Grilled Halibut with a mole Blanco sauce -- Fresh caught from nearby Morro Bay. Perfectly grilled, moist and flavorful. Excellent! Good food paired with food wine, great service, and beautiful surroundings...We look forward to visiting again.

The place is very busy. We opted for a wine tasting with lunch. They offered 5 wines and proper tasting pours. When we were seated, water was quickly served and we ordered their House-made Sourdough Focaccia which was served with lavender butter and lavender salt. That was very tasty - the lavender butter and salt worked well with the bread. My wife ordered the Duck Confit and I ordered the Bucatini Pasta which featured Mighty Cap Mushrooms. The sauce was very rich and flavorful. The pasta was cooked properly, and the mushrooms were just so good. The Duck Confit was similar - the duck leg was cooked properly, and worked great with the Heirloom tomatos and plum, all of which sat on a wild rice salad. You can skip the wine tasting and order drinks or wine off the menu if you want. Take a moment to walk around the grounds, look up at the ceiling work. They have have a shop with some neat winery stuff. Staff and service were excellent, and the menu and the food were outstanding!

It's a cute winery but non-descriptive. We sat outside and it was pretty windy so we had our jackets on And there was a cover overhead. Kathy was our server and she is one of the daughters of the owner. She had another large group and a couple of smaller ones and she was all by herself. She did an excellent job explaining the wines and not rushing us. I was impressed with the wines so I joined the wine club. Their wines are reasonably priced and tasting fee is $30 per person but if you buy a bottle of wine it's waved. I also bought one of the small stemless wine glasses and a daughter-in-law bought one with a stem. I'm looking forward to more of their wines.

You feel like you have escaped your world and entered a whole different one , it's a wonderful and relaxing place. You're surrounded by trees and yes, grape vines . Today we came and were greeted by Jessica ( she calls herself the adoptive daughter) . This is a great family run winery. Mr. Gino came and sat with us for a while and had us very entertained with all his wonderful stories . He is always so kind and welcoming. My husband and I enjoyed all of the wines we tasted. We decided to bring home the 2022 Zinfandel, 2019 Malfada and the 2018 Tre Sorelle. In all honesty you can't go wrong with any of their wines. If you want to escape to Italy without having to fly all the way to Italy I recommend you come here and taste all of their great wine and get some great stories from Mr. Gino. Can't wait for our next visit.
