If you are considering going to this establishment for your dental care, I'd recommend also having a good lawyer, or the funds to hire one. I was being charged for a procedure I never had done, and I was gaslighted when I asked for any bill, break down of the cost, or even explanation over the amount I originally owed. Each email contained a different person responding with a different amount, and then the only document they had on file with my signature was from over 2 years ago, for a bill I had already paid. I was left on hold for over 45 minutes, and once the staff member got back to me, she would repeatedly state that her computer closed the tab on my account and she needed to go back in and open it, which resulted in another 10 minutes of being on hold each time! It seemed intentionally designed to get me to hang up. I usually disregard online reviews as a place for extreme opinions, but this was honestly absurd. If I had not stood my ground, I would be paying over 5k for a procedure I never had done, or needed had I not been paying attention. Stay away! read more

initially when I started coming here the service was amazing. However, something has changed with the booking and rendering of services. Over the last few months I have needed extensive work done and the wait has been unacceptable. Waiting hours to get something done that literally takes 10 minutes is insane. on top of that I have come 2 times before and stated I needed a full exam and they keep overlooking when I arrive and when I mention it I'm told they will do it next visit. The doctor showed up 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment from his lunch break. Now, I have been waiting 1 hour and 45 minutes for a placement of my bridge. I had to call the front desk to ask if they forgot about me and then they tried to get me to reschedule for my exam again. I'm clearly not going to do that. The staff is nice but they need to do better. The work itself for the most part is good. The issues I have had are related to billing discrepancies and the wait to to get the work done. read more

I had a terrible experience at this office. The rest of 1 star reviews echo a lot of my complaints as well. To start, front of house is so inept. On the day I was to get 4 wisdom teeth extracted, they called me and told me the oral surgeon didn't feel comofable doing the procedure (they knew I had a complicated medical chart from my first visit). Person on the phone could not careless how much time and energy it took to book that appointment in the first place. When I tried to go the place they reffered me to, my former dentist woulnd't sign off! She said I had to come in again for xrays before she would sign my refferal. I would not be surprised if this place ends up in the news for doing unneccesary dental procedures. Multiple other reviews have mentioed this as well. I would really suggest getting a second opionon because reccomending uncessary and expensive procedures is a common practice in the dental industry. I will say this though, there billing department seems quite exceptional. They were able to refund me so I could take my buisness elsewhere. I hated dealing with this office. I visited Crossing Dental today. Was told that I needed "$20,000 dollars of work today by Abby (office assistant) but we can get the cost down to 5,800". I then thought to myself, are they selling me a car or dental service? When I said that I understand this office is a bit pricey and that I needed to call my wife, she then told me while I was still in the chair...What do you mean pricey? I then called my wife and this person rudely interjected herself into our conversation. I am so disappointed and still in pain. I am certain that this dental office is more concerned with price over patient care. I just felt so disrespected. I know that I have choice of dental office, and I choose to never return. The staff here are very friendly but I had the most painfully traumatic root canal. I expressed my anxiety due to previous painful dental visits. I was reassured but on the day of the root canal a different doctor saw me. 40 minutes after appointment time he came in and jabbed me in the mouth with a massive needle for numbing. I literally cried. After the procedure my temporary crown was placed improperly by the assistant. I told her the bite was off, she said it was fine but I couldn't close my mouth so I had to ask the front desk for help and stay even longer in pain. The next lady was extremely nice she even gave me a hug and a Tylenol. Later that week, getting my crowns placed was painful. I spent most of that time crying again due to the pain and discomfort. I wasn't given any prescriptions to alleviate the pain. So I had to take Advil pm just to sleep and several aleve the next day. Respectfully, if I have to be numbed multiple times and it wears off quickly I think that means my body doesn't respond well to the numbing agent so, try something else!? Now I'm traumatized all over again and left with a $2000 bill :( read more

They find problems that are not there. They said I needed a $3,000 root canal/ crown TODAY because there was a cavity under an existing filling. I went back to my trusted dentist who I emailed the xrays to and they said I didn't need any work done!!! I only went here because I needed a cavity clearance form for the Invisalign I was going to do at their orthodontist office next door. I decided not to go with the orthodontist in fear that this type of con service is transferrable. Also the dentist, Nicole Habib, kept calling me QUEEN as if trying to relate to me... weird. She gives car salesman, scammer vibes. While my mom was in the waiting room she saw the administrator guy talk to families waiting for their family members about "Your kid actually ended up needing ____ so we did it, it'll be $700 more now, can I charge the card on file?" She said the parents were shocked and had no choice but to pay because they already did it. This happened twice in the 1hr my mom was waiting for me in the waiting room. Read the other reviews, they push crowns and root canals on patients. My best advice, find a small dental office that has only 1 or 2 dentists and only 1 location, not a corporation that has a bottom line to meet. Honestly, if you have time to test this theory out, do it. But if you want to save time, just find a smaller office. read more

I was recommended this office by a few friends. Thought I had finally found a caring, reasonable dental office, but later found out that they too were only interested in $$$$, sadly I had no choice at the time but let them do the work. During that first visit, I got the worst shot I have ever had, hurt for almost a week, and they cut my lip. I know everyone says that they can handle a little pain, but I can handle ALOT First visit consisted of 2 crowns and a cavity. The crowns fell out almost immediately, went back next day to get help. Did I mention that the temporary crowns fell out twice in one week! When you are put on hold the recording they say we understand that your time is important to us! REALLY! At this point I asked for a discount because of all of this, seems I was denied, all they were interested in was the $$$. I can't believe this, no compromise or relief. For starters Smile Generation / Crossing Dental marks up there prices, instead of charging what's approved by your insurance coverage. Jackie #1 is something else with attitude and rudeness. The other Jackie is very sweet! My experience with Dr. Justin Mercer was challenging. He doesn't like his authority questioned. He's the dentist and how dare you questions his recommendations. I filed a couple of complaints/ grievances against his work performance. Here's the payback for filing a grievance on him. Sabotaging my one tooth partial, which he had to redo or refund. Later more extractions and had to buy another partial. Next he jeopardizes the crown molding he installed crooked, After he drilled it down to nothing ,making it fragile. He said he had to drill all of the decay out. Which was all removed, by the trusted outside dentist who started the root canal! That I paid out of pocket, for a sooner appt. He Knows if I lost this crown, That's holding the upper partial in my mouth, I lose my partial! Which is supplying the missing upper teeth on each side. If I loose the partial, next step is implants, or missing teeth! It's defiantly malice on his behalf. I still have cement on my gum line around the crown, causing sensitivity! They explain everything, they take time with their patient, and they give amazing care. I moved recently and had went to Temecula Modern Dentistry because they were closer. I had the absolute best experience with this office from the moment I walked in Jacky greeted me immediately with a warm welcome. Dr. Sirisha walked me to the X-ray room and went over my dental concerns after introducing herself. I went into the room and the she explained her treatment in depth and provided me with a realistic plan. We started with cleaning and Amir was so nice and thorough. Lauren the hygienist and Justin the provider were super sensitive to my condition (7 months pregnant) and got me in and out for my routine cleaning. Great/attentive front office staff. Their benefits coordinator clearly breaks down costs before you make any decisions to move forward with treatment without any sort of pressure. Overall, good experience. I've been going there for Ortho care and they have been excellent. When it was time for my general check up I was told that I needed to replace 4 crowns because I had cavities in between both teeth. I was quoted $2,500 dollars after utilizing both of my delta dental coverages. I asked for a less expensive option and was told that there were none. I agreed to pay for the difference and was told that the work can be completed the same day. As the procedure was taking place I was told I might need 2 root canals but was told that they got the cavities completely out and they would have to wait to see if the pain would go away. After waiting almost 8 hours for the procedure to be done, it wasn't completed and had to make an appt to return. Within the week I was experiencing tooth pain and went back to their office and was told I did need the root canals done and it would cost me an additional $2k because my dental coverage was maxed out by the crowns. I couldn't afford it so I ended up in Tijuana, Mexico that same week and had both root canals done for $700. The dentists didn't understand why they would place permanent crowns on teeth that might need root canals since it weakens the crown when they have to drill through them when doing the root canals. Later I found out from a friend who worked in these franchise dental office that they like to up sale you because they work on commission as well. So unethical! Once my ortho treatment is complete, I will never return or recommend this office. My friend who worked in these franchised dental offices recommended that I stick with mom and pops dental offices. read more

This place is a rip off as others have stated. First-time visit wth delta dental insurance. They recommended "deep cleaning" for $500+ dollars. I told them no thanks just a regular cleaning. My co pay for a regular cleaning is $20. When I checked out they said they did a root planing and the bill was $320. I told the girl that I declined the deep cleaning, she said they misunderstood. The cleaning seemed to be the same normal cleaning I always got from my previous dentist. For my wife at the same time they did the same deep cleaning mistake and another $320. They said she needed a crown replaced, my insurance, covers crowns with deductible of $395. At checkout they charged me $1105. I asked why my insurance didn't cover it, they said they didn't offer that type of crown. Then I asked why didn't they offer me the kind that was covered, they said they don't do those types. I asked why didn't they tell me that before they started, I neverer got a good answer. Avoid this place, they are a rip off. read more

A couple of months ago, I went to get dental work. They recommended I have some extractions. The strongly recommended I have some temporary removable bridge work done meanwhile got the permanent removable bridge. I asked how can you make a bridge with swollen gums? They told me the technicians know what they are doing. I had the extractions done, new temporary bridges put in. The lower bridge did not work at all. I tried hard to wear it but it hurt really bad. They started saying I have "mandibular tori" and that's why I have pain. The bridge work cost me $1600.00 I am seventy years old and of very limited income. They got their money. I had to get a loan to pay, for which I am still paying. I spoke to a friend of mine who is a forensic dentist, and works for Loma Linda Medical Center as an instructor, and he told me I did not need a temporary bridge. That all I had to was, wait for the gums to heal, and then get the permanent removable bridge. He looked at me and said I did not need special additional surgery to get rid of the mandibular tori. When they make the impressions, they allow for those little bumps. I am thinking of filing a complaint to the State Dental Board. I don't think it's fair what they do. You go to get care and, they are like mechanics. You go for a engine tune up and they tell you you need a new engine. This world is full of professional unethical people. Is hard to find an honest dentist. All they want is to make money regardless of the outcome for the patient. I can attest to that. read more
