    Old fashion and mud slide.

Chilled spot. Hole in the wall. Great service. We Had an old fashion and mud slide. Drinks are reasonably priced. Would definitely go back. Thanks Johnny!

I'm very excited for Shane (one of the co owners) tomorrow is the grand opening of the crow bar - I will be here to see what's good- Last nights grand opening was a great turn out- A ton of people crowded up this lil dive, I didn't take any pics, but trust me we showed up at 9:30-10:00 and had to stand for a few before friendly drinkers offered me a seat- Had a good chat with my native friends from the neighborhood and enjoyed sharing the memories of the north Denver dive that has been going through all the changes of owners in the past 3 years and supporting this last of the neighborhood dives - Salute to all of us Denverites for staying and embracing the changes of establishments and new comer's -

So in honor of my spankin' new Yelp Elite badge Sean needed a Lone Star. This a damn fine Great local bar that's probably not as dive-y as I like em' these days. Crow on a Wednesday evening after work is a great spot to hang out for a few drinks, play some bar games, and not pay too much for beer. Lots of accumulated paraphernalia lining the walls. Decidedly not trendy. Which I dig.

Does not seem as much has changed from Nip & Sip. + Friendly bartender. + $2.50 draft beer special (14-16 oz) Same look. There is a new mural on the north wall (outside).

Shot and a beer CDN$8. Good deal

Johnny makes this dive a Denver dime. Go early as it can get crowded. Great drinks , awesome games and always a good time.

They've got a solid tequila selection and mini Modelos, which was a nice surprise. It's those little touches that make a neighborhood bar worth coming back to. Definitely adding this to my rotation!

They don't serve food, though you're able to bring in food if you'd like. I remember when Bookbar occupied this space many moons ago. I used to like that place a lot. Well, I'm also beginning to like the new life My Boy Tony has brought here. It caters to a younger crowd, whether you're bar hopping on Tennyson with a group or looking for a spot to take a hot date. For better and worse, it's a neighborhood bar at its core. The most shocking thing is how they transformed the space from the previous tenants. It has a beautiful open layout with nice furniture and design. The bartenders are generally friendly and prices are in line with similar cocktail bars in Denver. The few times I've been here I've been in a cocktail mood. Negronis and Old Fashioneds are made well and are slow sippers I enjoy. They do have a nice selection of wines that I'll have to try when it tickles my fancy. The only hiccups here for me are some really long wait times for drinks. They usually have two bartenders and sometimes it gets really backed up. No one is running the floor when I've been there bussing and wiping down tables. Though I understand with a location here it can go from being empty to completely slammed in a matter of minutes! If you're looking for a cool, comfortable bar without the pretentiousness or judgment, check out My Boy Tony.

While we ended up getting different drinks, I have no doubt the espresso martini is yummy. My husband went for the Old Fashioned and I opted for As the Crow Flies - both were very tasty. Not cheap though - about $14 a pop. They had a wide beer selection and a few NA options, which I'm looking forward to trying as they sounded good. The bartender was friendly and skilled. We ended up sitting inside because it was a bit too hot for us, but others were on the patio and it did have ample seating and shade; will likely be lovely in a few weeks. The decor inside was clean with comfortable seating and a variety of bar seats and low tables. They also had virtual golf - an interesting mix. My one complaint is the amount of televisions. It had the amount I'd expect at a sports bar but way above sports bar prices. They could get away with removing 1-2 and still catering to the same crowd while appealing to those (like me) who don't want to have to sit in a corner and strategically place the chairs just to not have to look at a screen.

A friend sent me a flyer that a local DJ was having an all vinyl set here with funk, jazz, hip-hop and soul - some of my favorite genres and hard to find, especially in vinyl in Denver, where electronic dance music is a bigger culture I had the best time, the music was great. I even introduced myself to the DJ as someone who moved here recently and began following his Instagram so that I can come to other nights like this. The cocktails were delicious and very unique, I can guarantee you've never seen a sour cream and onion martini on a menu before. I don't have big enough balls for that yet so I opted for a guava sour and was so delighted at what I got. They use a Pea foam instead of egg whites and I could not tell the difference. The guava flavor was so strong and present, perfectly balanced for the drink. I also tried the infante -- or at least a version of it, I asked if there was any way to make it the same as the sour with the foam, and our server told us the bartender would whip me up a unique concoction that was similar to that. It was such an original drink. Everything was so yummy. The place is in a perfect little corner spot tucked away in Sunnyside, residential, but feels fun. Definitely can't wait to come back.

Their menu lets you know that they worked hard on your drink yesterday because they use technology that requires planning and uses custom refrigeration to serve cocktails at a perfect temperature and create dilution levels so they can do cool things to give you a balanced cocktail in a "matter of seconds." Always adventurous, I tried their Sour Cream & Onion Martini. Our server advised that I try a small sip first. I loved it. I can see why it would not be for everyone. The flavor notes were strong and intense but true to the name, so much so that it was like drinking a bag of Lay's Sour Cream & Onion potato chips. Yum! My next adventure for my palate was from the sour section, The Cherry Sour. Full of carbonated foam when first served, this cocktail was a nice and refreshing balance. Semi-precious provides a venue that is easy to nestle into, sip on some unique cocktails, and enjoy the company of friends.
