HUGE WRONG BUY from Crown Motors, Redding. Bought Honda in 2013, just over 24k miles. 2015, wouldn't smog had to take it to Crown to get repairs done so it would smog, had to pay even though car was under warranty. 2017 won't pass smog again even though Crown replaced the sensor that was broken so it would not fail smog in the future. Failed after 4 tries...guess my only choice is to go back to Crown and pay them to fix/smog my car. read more

Car trouble always sucks. I've always taken my car in here for maintenance stuff. Always a pleasant friendly customer service place to go to. Julie the service manager always take care of me as I come in and she is absolutely amazing. Couldn't be any happier with the service she provides. The mechanics I usually go to are Sou and Vue. They are always on top of it and really fast at getting the job done. After getting an oil change, they usually provide u with what needs to be done if there's any problem. Always taken care of my repairs. I have been more than pleased coming here and happy leaving this place. Will be a continuing customer :) read more

I was very stressed and uncertain going in to this experience, Tjay and Mike helped me and were just wonderful. They were salesmen but very nice. The waiting is always the hardest part but these two guys made it pleasant. And Ryan in the finance dept was really great. Found out that we are neighbors. Second time I have been to this service department and the same results. This time I even saw the person before me go through the same thing. They look at my truck and say they cant fix it but if I bring it back they will fix it. then they charge a outrages amount for looking at it. I should have known better than to bring it to them but it is still under warranty so did not think they could rip me off this time but sure enough they found away. Never take your car in to them for service. It was interesting because when they did the same thing to the guy before me I told him that it happened to me before at this dealer and it would most likely happen again and sure enough it did. Well, here we go again lol. They will kill you with kindness until they go in for the kill and try to reach into your pockets! But hey, they are car salespeople, would you expect anything less? My sales person was from the Honda side, hence this post on Honda' side. When it finally came down to brass tacks, our decision was made, it wasn't a Honda after all! Debbie Allen knew it wasn't the unit we wanted, but still tried to sell it! That was her 1st fatal mistake! We asked questions about certain concerns with interior electronics that resulted in her lack of knowledge, or caring about the customers concerns or wants. Nothing changes, she says, except maybe a color. Wrong! Our information was correct as to a change for 2016 we were concerned about! Hers was wrong as she tried to put down those concerns and blamed unemployed people posting on blogs about their problems with the Ford My Touch system, (as if unemployed people are buying $45,000.00 SUV's and sitting at home complaining about them!) I get it, she doesn't! She wants to sell a unit already on the lot, at whatever it takes, grab her commission and move on to the next unsuspecting soul lol. Her second fatal mistake was the lack of a deal or compromise, let alone any kind of discussion on price to even order what we want and her insinuation the price would be window sticker, MSRP,! LOL I think not Deb! What I do know is, you lost a guaranteed sale! Just a FYI Deb, Ford is in fact putting the My Touch in the garbage can where it belongs and finely going to SYNC3 in the Edge for 2016, as they should have done years ago! read more

I took my ford ranger here to the service department I ended up with the help of Rick, I brought it in with an oil leak, they chrged me the few hundred dollars to do what they told me would be a FULL inspection of my truck to find out exactly what the problem was, they told me then that they pinpointed the issue and it would cost me 1200 to fix it, I then asked rick if it was even worth it for me to put 1200 into it being that it is a 2004 and not valued to high, he assured me that the 1200 would defenitly fix my problems and so I paid them. I picked my truck up 3 days later and on my way home started breaking down, I then took it back the next day and they said they would fix it, I then came back a few days later and picked it up and within a week my check engine light was on again and was having the same problems, they towed it from my house and had it again for a few days, they then told me they had never checked the oil and that my oil was low, long story short, I took my truck back there 4 times, carpooling from over an hour away with my wife so I would have a ride home, after the 4th visit to Ford and after dealing with Rick and also Scott, I was never treated like I mattered to them, I was never reimbursed for any of my gas or the days I missed of work, I was never refunded anything and ended up with a broken truck and them telling me I actually just need a new motor. This is the absolute worst place you could end up taking ypur vehiicle and I have never been treated so poorly by a business. read more

This review is regarding the service department at Crown Motors Honda. I definitely would not recommend taking any vehicle here. I was selling my Honda S2000 and the gentleman buying it wanted to have it checked out at Crown Motors. Before dropping the car off the buyer and I drove it and went over the operations of the car, to include the operation of the convertible top. After returning to pick up the car the service advisor had informed me that the roof latches were broken and needed to be replaced, at a cost of $553.00. The roof and the latches were working 100% prior to dropping the car off and now they are now broken. After driving away from Crown Motors the latches fell from the roof. This had never happened before! I had just went over the operation of the roof with the gentleman buying the car and he also observed the latches working properly and was just as surprised as I was when they said they were broken. I called the service manager and he informed me his "Master Tech" worked on the vehicle and that they were broken from the start. He then informed me there was nothing they would do. The fact is everything was working fine when I dropped the car off and now the latches are broken. I understand accidents happen, but own up to them and do the right thing. I strongly recommend if you have to take your vehicle there do a thorough walk around before you leave. The only reason I am giving this 1 star is because that is the lowest I can do. read more

If I could give them zero stars I would. Absolutely hands down worst service ever. They have two people working at the desk. One - Julie. Is the rudest, most condescending person I've ever dealt with. The other is a man who has given up on life. He doesn't acknowledge anyone who comes in unless Julie raises his attention and then the both of them talk crap about customers who just left - in front of other customers. (That's me). Julie has multiple awards for "interpersonal skills" and "management training" on the wall but it seems she may have counterfeited those as none of the benefits of those classes were evident. The whole place is a cluster. It takes two hours to get a 45 min. Oil change. No one has any idea what's going on. I constantly get the run around. I'm waiting to be rung up right now. I've been trying to pay for 20 minutes. This is the third time I've come here. Stupid me I keep coming back. Never again. I only feel slightly better after this rant. Cause I'm still here. read more

My experience was less than desirable. I made an appointment to have an oil change and service conducted on my newly purchased used Ford F250 Diesel that I purchased out of town. I made an appointment for 11:00 on my only day off. I was hoping to find a great dealership to begin a service record with and extend my truck warranty with as diesel trucks need regular servicing and maintenance. When I arrived, I waited at the service counter, unacknowledged, for 15 minutes with my busy two year old. Finally, they asked how they could help. I explained I had an 11 o' clock appointment. He told me to go get my truck and pull it in the shop, instead of him taking care of it. After re-buckling my two year old in, I pulled up and waited another 5 minutes before he came and began checking me in. This was now 11:25. Then he asked, "Well your going to leave it right?" I replied, "No", as I had planed on waiting because my wife was at work. He said, "Well, we are going to run into a problem with people going to lunch, so you will have to come back around 1:30 to pick it up. I explained, that I didn't have a ride to come get me, and made an appointment for 11 because it would be done by lunch. He did not respond. I asked if he could expedite and try to get it done. He said, "No." He asked if I wanted to re-schedule. I exclaimed that I arranged my only day off around this service, and drove from Cottonwood for the appointment, and that I had no other options. He said well let me get you my card. I was shocked that he wasn't even trying to make things right with me, a potential long term customer. Unbelievably irritated, I explained I was going elsewhere. Without counter, the sales person half-heartedly apologized and walked away. I left and went two blocks down o Jiffy-lube. I was quickly welcomed and treated exceptionally. The were finished with oil change and 110 point inspection, topping off all my fluids, and vacuuming and cleaning my entire truck in 25 minutes. Their customer service was FAR BETTER than Crown Motors Service Department and was much appreciated. Needless to say, if Crown would have honored what they offered with the appointment, they would have gained a customer relationship with me (with Diesel services being rather expensive) for years to come. read more
