My boyfriend and I came here during our stay in Palm Springs. The Crudo is absolutely the thing you should get here. We got the white fish one and it was fresh, tangy and delicious. The fish taco was also delicious and I liked their homemade hot sauce that I wish I bought a bottle. The ahi nachos had delicious fish but the fish was disproportionate to the amount of chips that they gave us, so we were unable to finish the massive pile of chips. Lastly, the pistachio flan was a great ending to our meal and we left very happy and full. The service was excellent and the ambiance inside is beautiful. First off, great customer service and friendly . Place does have a lot of seats outside but in a hot day try to get a take inside . The restaurant can get crowded so plan accordingly. Parking is all around the area but can get crowded because of the other places to eat around there, be patient , people are coming and going . All the dishes we tried were delicious. The scallops negro was a good appetizer along with the crab enchiladas which was a decent proportion sized dish . We had to try the "La Super Tabla" . It's quite much for 2 people but with a party of 3-4 , you'll take it down easy. I like everything on this specific dish except the pork belly. It was quite tough to eat, might have been over cooked but it did have flavor , the pieces were kind of hard . The octopus was flavorful and the steak was very tender even though it was cooked well done , we requested medium rare but it was still tender. The calamari was also a tiny bit tough , it was more like a calamari steak, and a tiny bit chewy. The octopus was delicious , soft not chewy and the shrimp was yum. Last but least, the Flan for dessert. Flan is my favorite dessert and the pistachio flan made here was awesome , it's a must try if you have room for dessert . Came in for lunch and it wasn't too busy. We got drinks, the salmon ceviche, and the Chilean sea bass ceviche , plus the crab enchilada. The food was good but the salmon ceviche presentation could have been better.It just looked like canned salmon, though I could tell by the taste that it wasn't. I thought the sea bass ceviche had a little too many tortilla chip strips but otherwise the flavors were good. The best thing was the crab enchilada in that delicious green sauce. Really enjoyed the tacos here, they were super flavorful! This taco place feels healthier than other tacos locations. For example they had cod and salmon tacos, which comes with a side salad, as well as chickpeas in their ceviche, and it was very citrusy. I highly enjoyed the cod tacos, fish was very tender. This alone is worth visiting this restaurant. - Pork belly tacos (2.5/5) - two tacos for $22 seems really pricey. Their tacos were on the bigger side but the overall portion was still small. The two of us are big eaters, And along with two margaritas we were stuffed. There wasn't an item we ate that was not delicious. We had another great visit to Crudo tonight. We had several cocktails that were all great, including a very unusual and delicious "Carsons" old fashioned with a corn liquor. We also got an assortment of their small plates, including shrimp, scallops, cod, tuna and salmon. Each was unique, and each was great! The scallops negro was a standout. So much nuance in this food. Seafood was super super fresh and insanely flavorful. Loved the addition of corn and chickpeas in both of the ceviches and the tostadas were really fresh and added a really nice texture contrast. The pork belly tacos were on the sweeter side, but it was super crispy and the pickled onions added some acidity to it. The pulpo bites (octopus) were the best thing by far!! It was really soft and tender and paired w the glaze and the sauce it was soso good. Love the indoor and outdoor parts of the restaurant as well as the overall Spanish ambiance. We had a little excursion finding parking, due to the Pride weekend. We ended up walking about two/tenths of a mile, so not a big deal. As a party of six, we were seated in the back patio on the table that doubles as a gas fireplace. The setup and the evening weather made it feel "resort like". I apologize in advance for butchering his name, but Josh was our server, and he was patient and helpful all evening. He deserves a HUGE thumbs up. We received our drinks, along with two starters. The Ranchero Ceviche and the Guac and Chips. I didn't try the Guac, but the Ceviche was very good. Do not forget to use the Poblano sauce they bring for the Ceviche; it absolutely enhanced the flavor. My wife and I both had the Pomegranate-Jalapeno Margarita, which was delicious. It could have been a little hotter. For my entree, I chose the Crabmeat Enchiladas. I was seriously blown away how the enchiladas were lathered perfectly by the sauce. This combination was Excellent! I even devoured the corn-veggie mix on the side. To top off the evening, we passed around two desserts but there was one CLEAR winner. The Pistachio Flan had more of a Bread Pudding consistency allowing small bites of flan & sauce while the remnant waited for consumption. It wasn't too sweet or custardy. This is our first time visiting this restaurant and it will not be the last. We came away very impressed. Lucky for the restaurant I'm not allergic to shellfish, but I almost threw up at the table because I have an extremely strong aversion to seafood. They apologized and fixed my meal, but that was it. Every time I visit Palm Springs, I always find myself going back to Crudo for a quick and delicious lunch. I always order the same thing, and I always enjoy myself. Crudo is on the main strip, a little further from all the bustle of downtown, but still centrally located. Oftentimes, the restaurant is not busy for lunch. There has never been a wait during any of my visits, and there usually isn't more than three other parties dining at the same time. The menu is fairly large, featuring a wide variety of drinks and all sorts of food. From ceviches to tacos to large sharable plates, there is definitely something for everyone. Despite this, I find myself always going for the "ahi poky tower". It features a heap of marinated tuna with black rice, cucumber, avocado, and mango relish. When mixed together, you get the most delicious, well-balanced bites. The dish is served with crispy and delicate chips to provide texture and also a medium to hold all of the poke. Altogether, bites are rich, citrusy, and creamy. I personally like to order this dish on its own, but it can also serve as a great sharing dish in the middle of the table. The chips make it easy for everyone to get a bite. As for the calamari, this whole dish was really disappointing. I didn't order the dish and didn't look at the description, but when it was ordered, it was really unclear to me that it would be a steak instead of smaller pieces of calamari. The huge chunk of squid threw me off, but it was also the downfall of the dish. The fry was just okay. It wasn't super crispy, but the squid itself was extremely tough. It was really unpleasant to chew and was completely flavorless. The fries suffered from similar issues, being mostly mushy and flavorless. This won't stop me from coming back to Crudo, but I would definitely advise against ordering this dish. Crudo is a very welcoming restaurant with kind staff and generally great food. The poke tower serves as a high standard for seafood and the ability to construct a balanced dish. Even though I always get the poke tower, I would bet that a lot of the seafood dishes live up to the same level of quality and standard. And despite the calamari steak not being for me, I also understand that it is a new dish, and perhaps the kitchen was still dialing in the recipe. Crudo will continue to be one of my go-to restaurants and a place I take newcomers to Palm Springs every time I visit. read more

My friend was going to take me there yesterday for my birthday. He had told me about it and said it was really great so I was really excited to try it. When we got there there were 2 tables available that seated 4 and a 4 top near the front window. We asked for a table but the host told us to hang on a minute, when he returned he said he could only seat us at the 4 top near the front window. What difference did it make??? The 2 available tables also sat 4. What difference did it make if we sat at the 4 top or at one of the 2 available tables for 4??? So, we left and went to spend our money at il Corso instead and we WON'T BE BACK! Rude! I also saw 2 ladies leave who came in as we were walking out for the same reason. Finally got to try Crudo & was pleasantly surprised! I had very beautiful crab enchiladas. Perfect combination of creaminess from the sauce & texture from the vegetables on the side. It wasn't spicy & as much as I would love it spicy, it was great still. It says there's a mole sauce, but it was a vibrant green. The crab enchiladas paired very well with the passionfruit lemon drop. I don't usually prioritize vodka drinks, but the sweet-tart passionfruit + the soft crab flavor & creamy sauce just made so much sense to me. Alternatively, I would also go for a gin cocktail... such as a gimlet or an herbal/floral one (for those of you who also love a nice pairing). I sat at the bar & enjoyed the service from our bartender. I believe I heard his name was Rex, but I'm a little foggy on that. The side salad was hot because I think they must of had it under a warmer waiting for my tocos to be ready I'm guessing. The crab cake was mushy and had a weird tasting spice that masked any resemblance of a crab taste. We almost never sent anything back but this time she did and got my same tocos which she liked. I give the crab cake 1 out of five. My tocos were good quality and tasty but for $22 it came with just a few salad greens on the side. 3.9 out of 5 stars. He recommended either the guava or dragonfruit margarita when we shared we wanted a margarita and one of my friends ordered the pistacho tequila lime martini and they were all so good. The staff was nice and the food incredibly satisfying; I ordered the following: crab enchiladas (5/5; exactly as described and packed with crab. You know it's fresh when you have small pieces of shell in the filling. The flavor was balanced and the portion was generous.) and ahi nachos (5.25/5; some of the best ahi nachos I've ever had. Using wonton chips was incredibly smart and satisfying. The mayo and ginger based sauces paired perfectly and there was tons of tuna, avocado and jalapeño for several balanced and filling bites.
