Little hotel is hidden by some beautiful hedges. The little plaque out front lets you know you are in the right place. Lobby is rich and beautiful and sexy. Walked through the hotel and the pool to get to this restaurant. It matched the vibe of the lobby. Dark, rich and sexy. All of the staff was attentive and helpful. This place is tapas style so we ordered quite a bit. The Barajas bravas, the bombas, meatballs, ensalada de temporada and broccoli. Everything was so rich, delicious and flavored perfectly. Every dish seemed to have a lot of flavors going on that all worked perfectly together. This place is a definite must visit.

We attended their once a month paella that they offer by reservation only Oct - May. Staff was amazing and I loved they introduced the staff at the start of the night. They started on the patio with appetizers of stuffed dates and steak bites on toast. We then moved inside to our own table that had a personalized card greeting us. Every course was thoughtful and tasty. We overall had an amazing dinner that lasted almost three hours. All I can say is if your not sure - its worth it. I cant wait to maybe stay at the hotel and try some other offerings.

I really enjoyed the tinned fish selection. Just wish they would provide better air conditioning... it was hot and muggy in the interior dinning room booth.

I don't know what it is about this place but I cannot stop thinking about it. Every single dish we had was amazing. We genuinely loved each dish and ordered seconds and thirds of some - the shrimp especially. The service was wonderful and don't get me started on the ambiance - it is PERFECT. We are very tough critics and coming from NYC have copious amounts of lovely restaurants around us yet ever since returning home from Palm Springs I cannot stop thinking about our dinner here. Del Rey is perfect in every way, by far our favorite meal in Palm Springs - if you are in town definitely stop by.

From the second we walked onto the property I knew we were in for a treat. Gorgeous ambience, vibe, and decor. Our service was fantastic and the food was five stars. Loved the craft cocktails as well - just delicious! The albondigas were my fave tapas we had - we ate them way too fast to snap a picture but amazing flavor. This will now be on my must visit every time I am in town. Great spot!

My friend recommended Del Rey & it did not disappoint! From the lobby to the pool space, the hotel grounds were beautiful. Such a pretty little path leading back to the restaurant. Inside we had the cutest tucked-away corner booth, even though the tables are close together it still felt private & it was quiet enough to carry a conversation. Loved the moody but elegant speak-easy vibes! For four people I think we ordered 7 shareable plates & ended up absolutely stuffed! Everything was great, it was hard to pick a favorite...Would definitely recommend adding the crispy Jamón wherever it's an option, we added it to the bombas & it was SO good! The cocktails were as delicious as they were beautiful. Never had an old fashioned served with manchego, but it was a great pairing! Our server was attentive & friendly, she really made it a wonderful experience. Finished the night with the bread pudding & basque cheesecake, hardly had room but it was worth it.

Come for happy hour before our dinner. The bar was nice , cost and classy also service was great as well . Our drinks were great . Our bartender was knowledgeable helping us pick the drinks. We might comeback again for sure.

Warning on food and price! Sister restaurant of Bar Cecil, ordered cheapest bottle of bubbles $70 and the shrimp appetizer $38 for 5 extremely over cooked shrimp. Asked if they could fire up 5 more shrimp not overcooked and the next round had 1 shrimp not overcooked. The servicer was nice and couldn't believe they messed it up again and agreed on the over cooking. The broth and bread was good though. Manager seemed to be a little out of his league and wanted to stand at the front with 2 hosts already standing, not busy at all. Feels like a hotel restaurant trap because not much food in walking distance and guest probably get forced to eat at restaurant.

Love this space-- dark and moody, great cocktails, fun menu! It has all the trimmings for whatever sort of night you want; chill, sexy or ramping up for your next venue. Service is on point too!

Soft curves, organic lines, warm light. Nothing rigid, nothing forced. It feels sculpted rather than built. I had been eyeing it since it first opened and never made it in, so finally getting there felt like closing a loop. I was lucky enough to grab one of the three exterior seats at the bar window, and that alone is worth the visit. It is this perfectly framed little perch where you sit half inside and half outside, watching the street while still feeling connected to the space. It is intimate, understated, and just very cool. I ordered the birria tacos. They were rich and flavorful, clearly well done, but almost comically small. These are not tacos you linger over. These are tacos you appreciate and then they disappear. If you are actually hungry, plan on ordering more than one round. At a certain point the live Latin music begins to drift through the space, and everything clicks into place. The lighting, the textures, the sound. For a moment you forget where you are, or at least it stops feeling like Palm Springs. That is really what this place does well. It does not try to overwhelm you. It creates a mood that feels considered, transportive, and just a little more cosmopolitan than what you typically find here. And Palm Springs could use more of that.

There's a reason this is one of the toughest reservations in Palm Springs…read more We managed to grab a patio table, surrounded by plants and classic Palm Springs energy, and the atmosphere absolutely lived up to the hype. If you can't get a reservation, bar seats are first come, first served, and I can see why people line up for them. This was probably the most expensive meal of our trip, and at times you definitely feel it. A Belvedere martini with no vermouth for $27 made me laugh a little. This isn't Vegas. That said, much of the food was excellent. The Duck Liver Pâté was incredible, and the Red Thai Curry Mussels were unique without overwhelming heat. The Cacio e Pepe was one of the standout dishes of the week. Those thick noodles were fantastic. We also ordered the Steak Frites and upgraded to filet. Unfortunately, it came out overcooked, and I asked for it to be removed from the check. On the other hand, the Smoked Bone-In Duroc Pork Chop was perfectly prepared and incredibly moist. Dessert finished strong. The Aniston's Pavlova was excellent, especially the Chantilly cream. The warm chocolate chip cookies were delicious too, although $15 for cookies is definitely a Palm Springs moment. Pricey? Very. Worth experiencing? Absolutely.

While we were seated, The hostess went back and forth from checkin area and the dinning room. She looked panicked and kept talking to different staff members while we waited. Finally she said to come with her to our seat. It was now 8:40pm. She took use to a corner booth that was very small. I couldn't fit in it and my guest who's a size 34 had a hard time sitting in his seat. So they said to just wait there for now. So we was left standing in the walk way to the outdoor patio area. It was very uncomfortable to be standing there, while they tried to figure out seating. We stood there for just over 5mins. Then she said the only thing they had was a high top in the other corner. I said no to that, so they left us standing again for another 5 mins. Finally they sat us down at a table, right next to where we were standing. It had very low lighting, it was so dark we had to use our cell phones to read the menu. My issues is why leave your guest standing in the middle of the dinning room in a walk way for so long. then rush you to place your full order at one time. The kitchen must have been closing up. Now, the food and drinks. The Pork Chip was excellent and the Mussels were too. The Steak was very small dried out and over cooked. The Onion Tart was cold and soggy. The cocktails were great. Only issue we had, was the price of a shot of gin. My guest wanted to try it. We were charged $18. for it. My cocktail with the same gin was $21. This was a Birthday dinner for my guest. I would've thought they would have given him a desert like they did to the others that night, but I was wrong. Over all the evening was an uncomfortable $240. that I wish I wouldn't have done. There are many other fine dinning restaurants that offer better service and food for what we experienced. I don't know what happened, but I'Il be sharing my experience with others.

The mussels are normally cooked with some kind of pork, which I don't eat, but when I asked if it was possible to get it without pork, they said they could definitely do that, which is never expected but definitely always appreciated! The lamb chops were delicious and cooked to perfection. They came on a bed of some sort of salad, with some aioli and mint jelly. Personally the salad and jelly didn't work for me but my husband's short rib (which was also cooked perfectly) came on a bed of cauliflower puree which was so delicious that I ate half. On night two, I ordered the lamb chops again but requested they be served with the cauliflower puree, and they happily obliged. My husband got branzino, which he thought was good but I thought it was great, and I usually don't care for it. Pro tip: They offer a $15 corkage fee but I think you may have to ask when you make a reservation and they also have a $15 coupon (business card) at the front desk. The service was great, both of our waitresses were perfectly attentive and the bussers were on point. This is now one of my favorite restaurants in the area and we plan to come back every time we are in town.

The two-top table near the bar, with mustard-fabric lounge chairs on low spindled "moon-lander" inspired supports seem to have jumped right out of a 60's time machine, matching the retro vibe in the whole place. Our server was delightful, regaling us with her informative descriptions of her favorite dishes... it's fabulous when a server knows the menu so well that they can describe not only what's in the dish, but why it's so good. Cocktails were an obvious strength, and after my first choice, the pear-inspired Akita was regrettably "out of stock" (she informed us that they had run out of the fresh pear syrup they make by hand each day), I was steered to the It's Giving Julius. This boozy take on the classic Orange Julius, with a mouth-watering egg-white-textured foam floating on rum-infused a citrus blast. For Gayle, it was a moment to savor the non-alcoholic "Clutch Your Pearls," complete with boba pearls atop an icy lime-green concoction. The entire restaurant is themed on "American comfort food with an Asian twist." And let me say, they nailed it in every aspect. My bowl of Tteokbokk was a brilliant spin on a classic Rigatoni bowl, subbing Korean rice cakes for pasta and gochujang spiked tomato sauce for marinara, but keeping the rich parmesan/mozzerella cheese. At the server's suggestion, I topped it with fried pork belly, well executed and delicious, the entire bowl was light with an arrabiatta-like kick. My wife had the Garlic Noodles... imagine a creamy bowl of chicken noodle casserole straight out of the 60's, but without a can of Campbell's Cream of Chicken in sight. Velvety sauce glazed perfectly cooked Ramen noodles with vegetables and chicken... took her right back to her mother's kitchen where the same dish was the perfect remedy for the flu - comforting and scrumptuous without being too heavy. And finally having not overstuffed ourselves on this trip, we opted for the "poor life choice" of dessert. And after asking for the "simple plate of milk and cookies," the server corrected me and stated - rightly so - that this was anything but simple. Three stuffed cookies: Red Velvet with cheesecake cream, S'mores with marshmellow, and cinnamon filled Churro - nuggets from Heaven's bakery, with a glass of cold milk. We managed to finish it and roll on out full of some of the best food we've had this year. The only minor hiccup was when trying to buy merch on our way out, the front stand didn't have a terminal to let us pay, so we had to seek out a bartender to run our credit card (and they were super busy). A minor complaint in the grand scheme... get those hosts a card reader! Note: We didn't see a single dog in the place... but they clearly are welcome to 4-legged clientele. Such a fun spot.
