Hi if you're looking for authentic Mexican food look no further. This is the best place the food is excellent and the Cadillac margaritas are the best in town. Me and my husband have been going there for years. The staff is amazing and the ambiance is great.

One Chicken Burrito. Chunky (not shredded) chicken. Wonderful!

I've eaten at El Mirasol several times since my first visit in 2002. Very casual atmosphere, fantastic, friendly service and delicious food. n this night I had the One Chicken Burrito. Chunks of chicken, tasty sauce and huge portion! My Cadillac margarita was strong and delicious, too! I highly recommend!

Food- The food was good, and had a great portion size. It came out nice and hot. The vegetarian burrito had plenty of vegetables inside with cheese and green sauce on top. The rice and beans were tasty and super filling--that I took half the portion to go. Service- We came here for Mother's Day lunch around 11am. There was plenty of parking when we arrived. As soon as we entered, we were greeted and one of the hostess gave my mom a rose which I thought was super sweet. We were seated outside (even though we preferred inside dining on our reservation). After we were seated, we were immediately given water, chips and salsa. There was a man that came table-to-table to sing songs which we enjoyed. Our server was kind and respectful, but forgot to fill my water until the very end. I had asked for a refill after he brought our food, but he didn't notice until last minute when we were done eating. It was hot during our lunch, and I wish our server offered to turn the fan on and occasionally refilled our waters. Overall, this place is a nice place to eat once in a while. I suggest dining in at night during the summer for a better experience, since the weather is getting hot. Everyone was kind when we walked in, but attentiveness in guest service needs a little improvement.

Another delightful afternoon on their patio. Fortunately, we arrived early at noon on a 3 day weekend Sunday because the patio was full by the time we left. I loved my poblano chiles with black beans and stole some of my hubby's handmade corn tortillas because they are the best. My new favorite drink is the vodkarita with all the taste of a margarita and none of the tequila, which is no bueno para mi. Our server was friendly, and food arrived quickly despite the crowd. We had time to be serenaded by the strolling guitarist singing my favorite Paloma Blanca, which made for a romantic lunch on the sunny patio on a warm afternoon.

Hello! VEGAN OPTION HERE. I got the veggie burrito with beans. They seemed pretty knowledgeable on veganism. BUT if you are the type of vegan that minds cross contamination, this place is NOT for you. Unfortunately I found a little piece of cheese, but I just wiped it off my plate. ‍( didn't want to make ir awkward ) ... Anyway. Would I do back? NO. It's just nice that they have an option.

    Nice patio dining!

El Mirasol is a hidden gem for in the know residents of Palm Springs. Associated with Los Arboles Hotel on the corner of Indian Canyon and Tamarisk. Dining is inside or on their spacious, quiet patio. During Sunday brunch, a strolling guitarist strolls about, offering "canciones" for your enjoyment. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Our server, Jesus was very helpful in making a choice for my wife, who has dietary issues. The menu has all your Mexican favorites. The portions are good and well presented. Prices are very reasonable.. Tortillas are hand made on site and have to be experienced to be believed! I had the chorizo and eggs with beans. About $14. My Mimosa was only $6. Both were perfect for a relaxed Sunday brunch on the patio.

The entrance located near the parking lot. The lot is located behind the building.

This place hit the bar on all three of those pillars. We sat outside and a few of us ordered the margarita flight, while a few others ordered other cocktails. They were all really enjoyable and well balanced. We asked our server for his favorite thing on the menu and he suggested the steak plate and one other dish. The next person who came to our table also suggested the steak plate and ahi taco. 3-4 of us ended up ordering the steak plate, one ordered the quesabirria tacos. The elotes street corn was absolutely delicious. The sour cream on top just really sent it over the edge, the best I've ever had. Their flan was also exceptional. I'm not typically a fan of flan, but this one was really good. Top notch! Everyone absolutely loved their dish. The steak plate was absolutely wonderful. Steak was cooked to perfection, and the grilled onion was so good. The guacamole was flavorful, and it all went really nicely with the tortillas and other accoutrements. We had a great time and enjoyed amazing food. Highly, highly recommend. Pretty much all the girls agreed at the end of the weekend that this had been our favorite spot.

This review is more about the maintenance and conditions of the parklet seating area. My friends and I visited on a Sunday evening around 6:30pm. It wasn't peak season and it was about 100°F outside. Since we didn't have reservations, we were told we could only be seated in the outdoor parklet area. Another group of six arrived shortly after us and was visibly upset about the same situation and ultimately left, but we decided to stay and give it a try. Unfortunately, the parklet itself felt unsafe. My heel got stuck between the floorboards and several sections of the flooring were lifted. I nearly fell but caught myself by landing on an empty chair. The staff were very kind and helped me remove my shoe, which I appreciated. However, the outdoor setup made the dining experience very uncomfortable. We were constantly dealing with flies around our food, and no fans or coverings were provided to help with the heat or food exposure. Additionally there was a piece of hair on my friend's nachos. It was difficult to enjoy the meal in those conditions. As for the food, we ordered nachos and a carne asada plate with drinks, and while the food itself was good, the environment made it hard to enjoy it fully. The bill came out to nearly $150, and given the conditions, it felt disappointing. I would strongly recommend management: * Address the unsafe and uneven parklet flooring * Improve outdoor dining comfort (fans, pest control, etc.) * Allow indoor seating when space is available, especially in extreme heat The staff and food were great, but the dining environment needs attention to match the price point and quality of the kitchen.

Palm Springs has a night market that happens Thursday night from 6-10 where it brings out people. Food vendors, arts and crafts, gifts and so on. A nice family outing on the main strip. Also all the storefronts are open as well. The thing with something like that, you tend to stand or find a seat along the curb to sit with your food. Hence we finally walked into this restaurant. It was pretty busy when we walked in but at the right time. Got seated right away as there was only two tables available. By the time we were seated, the line was pretty long. It's just off the main strip. Pretty decent size patio which seems to be where everyone was utilizing it as it was nice out. There's a bar area with seating as well as indoor, a smaller room. Service was nice. Water and menu was brought out first then came the chips and salsas. Quite tasty but can be filling if you can't control yourself. Started off with their classic margaritas and the spicy margaritas. There's a few dollars difference from classic to spicy. They weren't that bad. Menu wise, a mixture of all your Mexican dishes. We didn't have any starters as we just wanted the mains. The carne asada plate which came with both rice and beans. I opted for only rice. Thin skirt steak with chorizo, grilled jalapeño and onion, flour or corn tortillas and salsa. And the chicken enchiladas verde with the green sauce. The food was quite tasty. Carne asada plate was pretty plentiful. Nice skirt steak with a nice piece of chorizo. Both were quite tasty and flavorful. Steak was decent and cooked well. Not overly done. Then you have the enchiladas. It's decent in size but not too big. It's good if you're not too hungry. The sauce was great and was a perfect pair to the dish. As it was our first time, it was great. All these place that's been there but you walk by loads of time. Sometimes you just have to try new places out and see what comes of it. Maybe it's a hit. We quite enjoyed it and glad that we finally tried it out.

Both my husband and I ordered shrimp tacos. I don't eat meat, so I always choose fish or shrimp as alternatives. The first two tacos I received (fish and shrimp) actually had beef in them. I sent them back and clearly explained that I do not eat meat. I then reordered shrimp tacos and specifically told the waitress again about my dietary restriction. Unfortunately, the second batch came with bacon. While yes, I could have read every ingredient more carefully, I would expect the staff to be more attentive and helpful--especially after I had already sent food back for the same issue. Instead, the waitress lectured me about not reading the menu, which felt inappropriate and unprofessional. On top of that, the tacos themselves were not good--overloaded with random ingredients and not at all enjoyable, especially for $23. I left feeling unwell and very dissatisfied. The strangest part of the experience was the hostess at the front. She appeared completely disengaged, staring off into the distance. I tried multiple times to get her attention for something as simple as a napkin or the check, waving while she was looking in my direction, but she didn't respond at all. Overall, poor service, lack of attention to dietary needs, and disappointing food. I wouldn't return.

Our server, Rene, was an absolute joy! He promptly brought us waters, beverages, and the some of the best fajitas EVER. In the time it took for us to walk in and out of Melvyn's, we already had everything--water, drinks, and food. Good thing too, because we were hungry! I can't say enough good things about Sancho's. They are a small business, and the hotel doesn't own them, so I'm sure they've weathered a lot with the loss of foreign tourism and tariffs. We later realized we ordered multiple taco plates that should have qualified for the special, but she never said a word. The food was even worse. I ordered fajitas, and what I was served was completely unacceptable,no vegetables, no resemblance to fajitas, just chopped chicken covered in chorizo and tomato sauce. It was disgusting. I took one bite and couldn't eat it. I planned to send it back, but the waitress disappeared and never came back to the table. I was stuck with it and only ate the sides, which tasted like reheated frozen vegetables and a small cup of beans. Despite barely touching the food and not receiving what I ordered, I was still charged as if everything was fine, about $22 for a plate I couldn't eat. When I finally addressed it, she insisted it was "fajitas," which is honestly ridiculous. To top it off, when my husband asked for a box, the waitress came back after handling cash and used her bare hands, with long acrylic nails,to grab his taco and put it in the container. That is completely unsanitary and unacceptable. Bad service, disgusting food, and poor hygiene. I will not be returning and will be reporting this place to the health department. Avoid this place.
