I Just had to share how much we loved our dinner last night. Alana has a beautiful ambience, decor, and menu. Our server was great and knew what she was talking about. From our first appetizer (the guacamole), I could tell everything was going to be elevated and sexy. Our salad was beautiful. Our various tapas plates were all wonderful, my Paloma was beautifully presented and had a lovely clean finish. This place pulled me in before I ever set foot inside. There is a quiet magnetism to it, the kind you usually stumble upon in Madrid, São Paulo, Ibiza, or Lisbon, where the design is not loud but somehow doing everything. Soft curves, organic lines, warm light. Nothing rigid, nothing forced. It feels sculpted rather than built. I had been eyeing it since it first opened and never made it in, so finally getting there felt like closing a loop. I was lucky enough to grab one of the three exterior seats at the bar window, and that alone is worth the visit. It is this perfectly framed little perch where you sit half inside and half outside, watching the street while still feeling connected to the space. It is intimate, understated, and just very cool. I ordered the birria tacos. They were rich and flavorful, clearly well done, but almost comically small. These are not tacos you linger over. These are tacos you appreciate and then they disappear. If you are actually hungry, plan on ordering more than one round. At a certain point the live Latin music begins to drift through the space, and everything clicks into place. The lighting, the textures, the sound. For a moment you forget where you are, or at least it stops feeling like Palm Springs. That is really what this place does well. It does not try to overwhelm you. It creates a mood that feels considered, transportive, and just a little more cosmopolitan than what you typically find here. Came here for a date night and loved it. The ambiance and decor makes this place feel fancy but not overly done. The bar is a beautiful setup. Service was fast and was always being checked on which was great. The yucca salad and guacamole and chips are some of my favorite. A nice gentleman worker also offered us a sample of this salsa which was absolutely delicious with the guacamole and chips. My partner and I also really enjoyed the bunuelo drink which was filled with flavor but not overpowered by alcohol. I've gone back multiple times since my first time and still enjoy getting the bunuelo every time. read more

Really enjoyed our visit here because we could order just the right amount of their excellent creative tapas. Flavors and textures were amazing with a really creative mix of Spanish and Asian influences. One minor oddity is that the blue tortilla chips were inconsistently crisp which could lead to a bite of food being difficult to chew since many of their dishes come with the blue tortilla chips. I probably wouldn't normally give five stars myself with this inconsistency, but everything else was really quite good. The chips which were in fact crisp were great and went really well with the dishes. I found myself testing each chip before committing to it by nibbling a corner. Luckily they give you plentiful chips anyway so it's not too hard to find enough crisp ones. The overall atmosphere is fairly dim, but extremely cozy and comfortable with some relaxed club music playing. read more

Inconsistent Hours and Poor Communication We've now tried to visit this place twice, and both times were turned away well before their listed closing time of 12 AM. The first time, we arrived around 10:30 PM. The second time, we gave it another shot at 11 PM on a Friday night, thinking they would definitely be open. Unfortunately, they were closed again. What's frustrating is that there's no signage, update, or indication that they're operating on summer hours like other restaurants usually do. If your hours have changed, please update them online. It's basic courtesy and good business. We drove 40 minutes each time just to check this place out because we've heard such great things. Sadly, we've now wasted our time and energy twice. read more

I had been wanting to try this place for some time but they don't open until 6pm and I'm usually looking for something earlier than that for some light bites. Finally made it in and the interior is gorgeous. Service was good and not intrusive. When I saw the word tapas, I was really hoping they might have some things like croquettes, but half the menu is tacos and not a croquette to be found. The guacamole was delicious but be prepared to spend $18 for chips and guac. (I think that's what it was, the online menu doesn't list prices). The friends we were with barely touched the sashimi, but also didn't say anything negative about it. I would go back for a cocktail. read more

They had a girl Dj playing music this was a Saturday evening during stagecoach weekend and they have only been open for about 3 weeks. The maracuya was recommended and it was tasty enjoyed watching them make all the drinks at the bar.
