    Communal table Extremely loud!
    Lisa W.

I have eaten in the dining room here several times. I booked reservations for 4 at tonight at 7 pm. We showed up and they put at a communal table. It was so loud. We left after the young woman said she could not put us anywhere else. There were several tables in the restaurant, the young woman's delivery was not very pleasant.

This meant Marilyns everywhere, including the waiters, which made the experience that much more fun. Aside from that, we had made reservations ahead of time thankfully, because it was BUSY. But we were sat just as soon as we had arrived, and despite it being very hot out at the time, they had a bunch of shaded spots with misting fans. The drinks were fantastic, including mine which was a zero-proof mocktail. We all ordered different chicken dishes, and each one received high praise. I was able to try each of them and I was very happy with my fajitas, but I gotta give the nachos their dues. They were just as good. Chips were crispy all the way through, and not one was soggy from all the ingredients. Loved it, will definitely be back when I visit again. Id also like to mention that we chose this place as my friend's Bachelor Party closing dinner, and he couldn't have been happier. He was so thrilled with how the weekend had gone, that dining at Clandestino's really was the cherry on top. Thank you for making our dining experience such a pleasant one.

The soup that they start you off with is delicious, the rotisserie chicken was soft and juicy and had crispy skin that made my mouth water, the lomo saltado with the green pasta was life changing, the pasta stir frye was perfect, and the alfajores were SO darn good. The cookie was melt in your mouth soft and buttery and the dulce de leche was perfect. I would DEFINITELY come back anytime we're in the area. Also, the service was warm, attentive, and made you feel right at home.

The waitress brought a full order + a side of rice and charged $24 for the chaufa. When I noted this, she said I thought you wanted both. No apology and she refused to take it off the bill. and so lunch for my wife and I was $75 due to her mistake!!! I didn't want to make a scene, but this place now seems less friendly and poorly managed compared to the great place it once was. I've enjoyed many good meals here, but the last few times, the food quality is lower, portions smaller, and the service less friendly. What happened??? They lost a loyal customer and sadly don't seem to care. Their passion (and their crowds) are gone...Avoid.

We stopped by around 3 p.m. on a Wednesday and sat at the bar. It wasn't too busy, which made for a relaxing experience. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. For food, we ordered the fish ceviche, taquitos dorados, and the birria tacos. They definitely don't skimp on the portions. Everything is generously sized and perfect for sharing. I especially loved the salsa that came with the taquitos dorados, and the birria was incredibly tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The birria tacos and taquito dorados were easily my favorite and something I'd absolutely order again. Of course, I had to try a few of their margaritas! I sampled the Classic Felipe, Jamaica, and Guava margaritas. The guava margarita was hands down my favorite. Overall, it's a great spot with delicious food, refreshing drinks, generous portions, and excellent happy hour deals. Be sure to check out their happy hour menu, you won't be disappointed!

Very fresh ingredients with generous portion of shrimp. This was my favorite item we ordered! Tacolgado were mini quesabirria tacos that was perfectly sized to share. This was really good! Then we also ordered the chicken flautas that was really good! The chicken breast was perfectly seasoned and moist but the fried tortilla was not soggy at all. This was so good! The kids enjoyed this the most. Especially the cotija !! So so good. Wednesdays are 50% off their margaritas which I wasn't able to try but next time, I will! The ladies next to us ordered a few and I overheard how they were all good! The restaurant is family friendly, clean and decor was very cute! Service was very attentive and the servers were very quick. We enjoyed our 1st time and definitely plan to come back!

The 99-cent tacos are an incredible value, but the quality is what really impressed me. I tried the chicken tacos, carne asada tacos, and the nachos, and every bite was outstanding. The meat was flavorful, fresh, and perfectly cooked, and the toppings were just right. The tacos were absolutely out of this world! While I was waiting for my order, I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Richard. He was genuinely friendly, welcoming, and it was obvious that great service and high-quality food are his top priorities. You can tell he takes pride in what he serves, and it shows in every aspect of the experience. If you're looking for authentic Mexican tacos in Palm Springs, Baja Springs is a must-visit. Delicious food, fantastic prices, and excellent customer service. I'll definitely be back! Highly recommended!

Okay, I've been coming here for 12 years and today was the day they lost me as a customer…read more This may seem simple and petty but it's more about customer service. A few weeks ago I came in for taco Tuesday, discounted tacos and they are always good. This time they didn't give me all that I paid for. Seemed like an honest mistake but I was already home when I noticed and so I called them to let them know. They asked for my name and how many tacos were missing and said I could come back another Tuesday and get them. No big deal right? Well I went in to ask about them today and I was told that nobody had written down my name and that I needed my receipt. But to pick up the tacos I had to give my receipt to the woman in the kitchen so I have no receipt. So I was simply dismissed and told no. I had already ordered and paid for two burritos today, I guess this is the last meal I will have here. Yes the food has been good. But to have been a customer this long and to be so easily dismissed leaves a bad taste in my mouth. We have our own business in town (a restaurant) and we do not treat customers this way. I have referred hundreds of people to Baja Springs, that also stops today. This is the prime example of it takes time to gain a customer and one day to lose them. If this is the way management treats me I don't want to continue to be a customer. It's not about money, it's about morals and ethics of at least acknowledging a customer and not just dismissing them like it was my fault for them not giving me what I had ordered. I'm sure they will continue on in business and do well, they just won't get my money anymore. Thanks for taking the 12 years of me being a customer and treating me like I truly don't matter at all. I guess I'll take my business up the street to the other market. If I don't matter I guess you won't miss me.
