This week I got the milk chocolate chip cookie and peanut butter blossom. Last week I got the peanut butter Reese pieces cookie and semi sweet chocolate chunk cookie. In comparison , the semi sweet chocolate chip cookie was way better than the milk chocolate chip cookie and the Reese pieces were much better than the blossom peanut butter. I really liked when they had an earl grey flavor but it is unclear when the flavors repeat or not so it's always a risk if you are dropping by. Don't be committed to one flavor and be open to trying different things here. They take risks and it's sometimes bad and sometimes pays off. You pretty much tell them," this place is super hyped and extremely overpriced yet sells mediocre cookies. These cookies are too sweet to be considered cookies. First timer. Came in on an early Thursday afternoon to purchase a dozen of the small cookies as a gift after checking out the website. Doorbell went off when I came in and I was the only customer. Only see one male employee bagging cookies from a tray and as he did not have his back to me, I figured he heard the bell, saw me and waited for him to acknowledge me. And waited, and waited and then finally said "Hi". The response I got was a slightly confused "do you have a question?". This was my first time trying Crumbl cookies and I was very happy with the flavor that I got. From my understanding they change it every week which is good and bad because if you really like a cookie you only have one week to enjoy it. But these cookies are really big so you can make it last for a couple of days. I haven't tried that so I'm not sure how long it stays fresh for. I'm not a chocolate person but the Frozen Hot Chocolate Cookie caught my eye because of the mini marshmallows and it was so good. It was the perfect amount of sweetness for me and I really liked the texture of the cookie. The inside of this location looked nice and clean. My first experience visiting Crumbl was disappointing. I'm sure that I speak for practically anyone wanting to buy such goods, especially when they're as celebratory as cookies, that we like to feel like we're human beings just wanting to enjoy a treat. My order was taken 10/7/24 at around 12:15pm First off, the cookies were okay. The chocolate chip one was my favorite as it was not too sweet and surprisingly felt light. I also liked the chocolate peanut butter and maple cookies. The pumpkin ones were okay. They reminded me of the ones sold at Food4Less, which are actually much tastier. The idea of these cookies are more fun than anything. It's really not something I'd go out of my way to get or obsess about, but I'd totally take a bite of their cookies if, say, a work gathering had a big order of them for free. As for the customer service, it was horrendous. For as warm and as welcoming as the aesthetic of Crumbl appears, you actually get quite the opposite when you go in for an order. When my wife and I walked in, we noticed a worker go from the front of the counter to the back. No eye contact, no greeting, no acknowledgement of our existence whatsoever. Cool, that's alright, workers get busy. No problem. But we were at least expecting some kind of assistance as to how we would go about our order. If we're expected to not have anyone take our order, the least you could do is give a quick mention like, "Hello, you can use the screen to place your order and we'll have it ready for you within moments." Easy. Just takes about 2 seconds to say that. But we got nothing. While the crew were in the back, joyfully working and interacting with each other, we were ghosts. It was at least clear that the workers had some sense of enthusiasm working there, but it just doesn't add up when you, as a customer, are completely, I mean absolutely, ignored. You are just a number to them. On top of that, I'm supposed to consider tipping them? Normally, I would, but if they're not going to bother saying a single word to me, you can stick to your hourly wage. Maybe some people don't mind the absolute lack of interaction or acknowledgement of your existence, heck maybe some people even prefer it. But being ignored into oblivion is a big red flag. There must have been about 10 or so employees all working together and not a single one of them gave a damn to welcome anyone. To have your order taken by a machine and your cookies are handed to you by an employee who still makes you feel invisible. What strange dystopia is this? We eventually got our box and even after I said a typical "thank you, have a great rest of your day" to the girl who handed it to us, there was silence, no eye contact, and ignored yet again. The least any of these employees can learn is simple common courtesy, which they clearly lack. Just as people, how can anyone be so social amongst themselves but so cold with others at the same time? It was just odd. So my first, and most likely only, opinion on Crumbl is, much like their employees seem to perceive their customers, that it's nothing to acknowledge. It was a bummer. read more

I've tried cookies at a couple other Crumbl locations and thought they were good (although insanely overpriced). I had just finished a light lunch with a friend near this location and decided it'd be a good destination for dessert. What happens when a card-only payment location's card reader fails? In my case it means a five minute wait and a line behind me that backs up out the door and along the sidewalk. Luckily a young lad working there figured out the fix and got the place back in business. I ordered two cookies: a chocolate chip and a caramel corn cookie. The former needs no explanation while the latter is described as a "buttery cookie topped with sweet caramel cream cheese frosting, crunchy caramel popcorn pieces, and a light drizzle of melted caramel." The chocolate chip was outstanding, served warm and crammed full of chocolate chips. The caramel corn cookie was okay with a solid caramel flavor due to the frosting and drizzle. The cookie itself was nothing special and the caramel corn on top was soggy and a hinderance to carefree bites; it makes for a pretty picture but subtracts from the edible enjoyment. Not a cookie I'd order again. The cookies are big and thick...and pricey. A single cookie would have been enough for a normal person but this is me we're talking about. read more

My husband mentioned this new cookie spot he saw on Tik Tok. I never heard of it but he knows I'm a cookie lover so immediately wanted to try. I ordered us a variety of half dozen cookies: Cinnamon, Milk Chocolate Chip, Red Velvet, Strawberry Short Cake, Cookies and Cream and Animal Cracker. This was at the newly opened Cerritos location across from the Cerritos mall. I can honestly say they were all good. My favorite was the cookies and cream. My husband enjoyed the Chocolate Chip. They are freshly made and moist. These cookies are little bit on the pricey side. About $5 per cookie and about $25 for a half dozen. It is a nice treat to have once and awhile or for special occasion. They even offer catering. The customer service was okay, but I guess that's to be a bit expected at a brand-new location. The inside of the store was very warm and open view of the kitchen. All the staff say "Welcome to Crumbl" when a new customer walks in; can't say it was very enthusiast but again it was quite warm in there and I'm sure the heat is taxing. They are still working out the kinks. They have a self-order counter to the right (not open when I went) and pick-up area to the left. Cousin brought home a box of 4... the milk chocolate chip cookies were INSANELY sweet. Unfortunately, I only had two bites and decided not to finish them. The other two were oatmeal cookies which were significantly less sweet in comparison and more palatable, however they were very very doughy and probably undercooked? I put them in the fridge overnight and they hardened enough in the morning. Crushed it and ate it like oatmeal..... This is the 1st time they messed up my order, called the store to let them know and they said they'll give me a partial refund, we don't like peanut butter cookies. They didnt even mention they were sold out of smores just replaced it with these. . My hands were full and i didnt check my box until i was on the freeway. We live closer to the downey location but theyre always sold out of everything so we have to come here. I think a lot of the issues in the store during rush is that we cannot hear them saying any of the names, they really need a megaphone, no joke, they say the name once, with a super low voice with the music blasting, people probably take the wrong orders. Then the boxes pile up with everyones names written and they dont go back to repeat the names, then it becomes a cluster of people asking for their order, if they just say the name loud enough, things would be smoother. I placed 2 ordered this night because i had to use my points in a separate order, Im certain a girl in front of me took my cookie, you could barely hear the guy when he called the name & at the same time i got a notification to "enjoy" my cookie, i hadn't even received it! lol today is my birthday and I thought it was a good idea to try a free cookie from crumbl for the first time and I just left feeling so weirded out. I'm writing this as I'm still parked in the lot. Why do the workers make you feel like you're lying about your birthday just to get a free cookie? LMAO they give you a blank look and you can immediately feel the attitude. It doesn't help the fact that a dad and his son were ordering right before me and he didn't have an ID on him to prove that it's his birthday so they denied the boy his free cookie and then I come in next saying it's my birthday, too. I went last Monday. This place just opened up and I wanted to try it out. I was in line and spoke to the girls in line asking about the cookies. They described it as being like a sugar cookie. I definitely loved the chocolate caramel. The caramel is chewy. Texturally the cookie was great, and flavor was familiar and comforting. The banana bread was good, but I would probably prefer without the cinnamon flavor. I think it would be great with chocolate, which I originally thought what was on top of the cookie. I haven't tried the strawberry ice cream bar yet, but I will update it as soon as I eat it. I would probably come back for the chocolate caramel, and to try there ice creams. I do prefer cookie plug, but still a good cookie spot also. Update: Strawberry ice cream cookie just taste like a regular sugar cookie. Straight up not worth getting.
