One of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I walked in the store and saw 2 employees working. They saw me but didn't want to acknowledge me or even asked me, "how can we help you". Left me standing there for a good moment until til I said, is anybody going to help me?" Her response was, you should have stand in the pay line. Mind you, there was no one in the shop but me. What difference does that make if I'm in the paying line or not. They should at least acknowledge the customer and asked how they can help. Not leave customer standing. read more

The taste of Dublin brought this store to my attention the other day and I've been seeing a few ads on Facebook I believe that had me curious honestly. First visit was a mental note, they are closed on Sundays lol. Anyways, on my next visit which was in the morning the place was bright, neat and clean. The bakers were friendly and laid back. The ordering system was on a touch pad which is sort of neat but to me being a tad old school, it sometimes lacks the human touch and interaction between people albeit usually a short brief conversation. Anyways I opted for a 4 pack since I couldn't really fathom the thought of getting a $5 cookie lol. So I chose 4 different types and they were very good albeit fairly sweet since I tend to avoid sugars. They were all soft and moist and still soft when I ate the last one the next day. I'll admit I won't be coming on a regular basis here, but since I see they have weekly recipes so I'm thinking they usually have a mixed variety each week roughly, I'm curious to see what other flavors they make and carry. Even the ice cream might be a more deciding factor in me coming over to see how they taste overall. read more

It's here! The 1% problem of trekking to San Ramon for cookies is over! Nestled in the Fallon shopping center closer to the Chevron and neighbors to Hawaiian Poke, the shop is just enough to fit a small line of people and to show their weekly flavors. Always a hit is the milk chocolate chip. If they come back, anything with cinnamon or snickerdoodle or a lemon or key lime is a family fave. I spend blindly but the cookies are big enough that you can split it in pieces (be a sucker and buy the cookie cutter which divides it into 4). The ice cream is not bad too. Cookies great -- staff are dumb. I bought 6 cookies... but wanted to give 4 as a gift and eat the other two. So, I asked that the 4 be placed in a box and then just hand me the other two cookies. Was met with "we can't just hand you the cookies - we need to charge you $.25c for each box that we give you a cookie in. I just spent $25 FREAKING DOLLARS on 6 cookies and you can't place them in a napkin and then it over the counter???? Lousy customer service. I had heard of Crumbl via word of mouth but didn't realize they had opened one here until I saw a small sign when passing by! This location occupies a spot in Fallon Gateway that was previously a cute ice cream joint named O'Honey (RIP). I was surprised when I popped in because it's a reasonably large room, but Crumbl is using about 80% of it as a bakery with only a very small portion at the front reserved for ordering/waiting. It happened to be a family member's birthday this day so of course I bought a thematically appropriate birthday cake cookie. The ordering experience was quick- I checked out via a tablet and stood around for not more than a minute before someone brought out a warm cookie in a pleasant pink box. The whole experience reminded me a lot of Sprinkles - a cupcake store that's very similarly executed to this. The cookie itself was really good! Texture was great, soft and crumbly but also very buttery and rich, with a hyper-sweet icing on top. It was honestly a bit too much for my taste but I still really enjoyed it. I will say the waiting area could be a bit bigger, as it definitely felt a bit congested hanging around there with a few other parties also waiting for their food. The prices are fair though and the presentation is great, so I can't wait to stop by and try some more flavors! read more

Do NOT order from the Dublin location, you will be seriously disappointed. I ordered a 6-pack of cookies through mobile pick-up, and had to wait 20 MINUTES inside until staff attended to me, even though my order had been ready right as I entered the place. The cookies came out cold and stale, while staff kept dropping items & messing up orders. I was ignored for 20 minutes even when I was in the very front of the pick-up station. In short, very inexperienced staff, and unreasonably long wait time for mediocre product. read more

This review is about the customer experience at this location with the manager (a gal whose name I can't remember). My son told me he saw a cool promotion where Crumbl gives you a free cookie on your birthday; he thought it would be fun to take me there on my birthday to get one. When we arrived I was instructed to show my app. I had my app and a history of ordering from Crumbl prior; however, I never added my birthday to the profile. Apparently that was enough of a deal breaker to turn away my son and I from receiving a free cookie on my birthday. It's really not about the cookie, I could have bought one or many on the spot but I chose to leave on principle. I didn't like how the situation was handled. Crumble was just ok for me. The menu options were very limited. The cookies were large and weighed about a 1lb each (maybe a little over exaggeration, but they are hefty serving side). The price per cookie was also hefty. Staff was just okay, neither rude or helpful, just there working. I suppose that in and of itself is a plus these days. As far as taste, they good. I know others love and rave about these cookies but I'm pretty neutral. For a just good cookie, limited menu, and ok service, it isn't enough for me to return on any kind of regular basis. Got box of 4 cookies from this new place opened couple of weeks ago. The cookies were fresh and of good quality and taste. The price of each cookie was $4. This was a bit on the higher side. Would be good if the target price was $3/ cookie. The price can adjusted by making the fancy box simple. The box can be an option and if paid extra the customer can get it. I was a little shocked to move to Dublin from Naperville IL to find a disheveled store that often looks unkept. One of the ordering terminals has been out the entire 3 weeks since I moved here. This store does not meet franchise standards. Employees don't always greet customers. The sign boards don't post pending orders... at least when i've been there. You can only order online for curbside and not pick up as the app just spins and spins when you select the in store pick up item. I was told by an employee to update my app. I've tried this location 3 times .. and it's 3 strikes for me. I'll only order from other locations unless the Dublin location cleans up their act... and their store. read more

Decided to check out the newly open Crumbl cookies out here in Dublin. It seems a lot of these stores have been popping up lately so I wanted to see what the mass expansion is all about and if it was worth my time. My barometer for a good cookie is the OG chocolate chip. If you can't do a simple chocolate chip good you may not be able to do any cookie well. And I have to say it was decent. Nothing to write home about but decent. But in my opinion their true strength may lie in the specialty cookies. Well that is if you want a sugar rush. I had the warm lemon crinkle cookie and it was tasty enough to send me back for another one. I also tried the buttermilk pancake and snickerdoodle and they did not disappoint. This place is making me break the calorie bank for sure. Only downside is I wish they sold the mini cookies individually. All in all I would say Crumbl is a decent cookie place for a sugar rush. The cookies aren't the best compared to a regular cookie but with the addition of frosting etc. it does enhance the flavor. Warning this place can be extremely dangerous if you have no will power and only live 1 mile away. I'll definitely be back. But I might have to join a cookie addicts program after this. read more

Located in the Fallon shopping area. No line and service was quick. Friendly staff. Got 3 different types of cookies. Only issue was that our Snickerdoodles were undercooked. I'm not a fan of cookie dough so this was a no for me. Otherwise, hits the spot when craving something sweet. read more

I was in the area for the Alameda County Fair and saw that there's a new Crumbl location in Dublin so I had to check it out. I've only had Crumbl once before and their cookies are pretty good! They switch out their flavors every week. When I went, I got the classic Milk Chocolate Chip, Blueberry Cheesecake, Cookie Butter Ice Cream, and Rocky Road cookies. My faves were the chocolate chip and Blueberry Cheesecake flavors! I wish there was a Crumbl location closer to the city or the peninsula because I would go all the time! read more
