Crumbl is far from me so I only come here occasionally. I hear about this company often and wanted to check it out myself. Taste wise, if you have a sweet tooth this place is a gold mine. If you want to find the world's most over-hyped cookie with an hour plus wait then look no further! After driving almost 2 hours, we purchased 12 cookies, because I wasn't leaving without my fair share of dough and frosting! A few of the flavors were unique and tasted good, like the Orange Cream and Biscotti, but others missed the mark completely. The Oreo Cookies & Cream and Neapolitan cookies were awful. The frosting was piled high, the flavor was off, and they were just too sweet and oily. My 8-year old said they hurt her teeth they were so sugary (and no she's never had a cavity) and I agreed. I could only take one bite of each cookie because they were so rich, greasy, and frosting-covered. Mind you, I live for sweets but these were too much. I could feel my arteries clogging with every bite. The peanut butter cookies were okay but nothing to write home about. For as greasy as all the other cookies were (the box stained my daughter's pants because the oil/butter/grease soaked through the bottom) we were pretty surprised that the peanut butter cookies were actually on the dry side. I was also disappointed that they were out of the chocolate chip cookies on a Monday so we did not get to try those. My advice is to only buy these cookies in small quantities (we threw most of ours away) and if you like them go back and wait in line for more. I know we won't be though. read more

Horrible horrible service by the manager. Never again will I go to the Crumbl cookies located in Naperville. We placed a pick up order for cookies at 4p to pick up at 7p curbside, the owner Peter Tennis came out wanting us to change out the cookies because it was an inconvenience to him as far as wait time (His words, not mine). My mom asked for a manager and he replied that he was the store owner. He was very rude, hit my sisters car twice with his hands when he went for our orders. He came back and told us there were cards for cookies in the future and started laughing at us and was swearing as he walked back towards his business after hitting the car a second time. Three chocolate chip, two chocolate peanut butter chip, and a blueberry cheesecake. Blueberry cheesecake was my favorite. I forgot to mention that we went on a Thursday, after 8PM, and they weren't out of any flavors. You order yourself from one of a couple of ordering kiosks. Wait a few minutes, they call your name, and show you your cookies. These are big cookies, and they stay fresh for a long time. This was my third week coming to this location, the cookies are the absolute best but the service is even better!! The store was especially busy this morning with door dash and regular orders and the staff did a fantastic job. There was a little bit of a wait but Shriman (I believe was his name) did a wonderful job managing things. The cashier and other employees were all so kind and working so hard. This place is so freaking good!! Aghhh!! I expected this place to be somewhere straight out of California - too kitschy and too "stand offish." All of the employees are so friendly and I even called beforehand to see if they were sold out of cookies and they kindly told me they KEEP MAKING DOUGH! So reassuring to know that they will NEVER run out of cookies! Considering the long line nearly every second of the day, I figured I'd feel so uncomfortable inside! NOPE! It smells so aromatic inside, AND the cookies really are worth the hype!! The flavors this week were so tasty and a perfect start to the fall weather. They're so cake-y and pillow-y soft! They're firm on the outside and also so heavy and it's like a mini cake. I am in love with these, and I'm moving out of state this weekend.. Cookies are amazing... but I wasn't pretty disgusted when I was waiting for my cookies. One of the employees was going in and out to check on the line outside since they were closing soon. The employee had plastic gloves on from making the cookies as I watch him continuously go in and outside touching the door and door handles on his way in and out...he then proceeded to touch the cookies and cook dough as he came back inside. I was disgusted... we are in a global pandemic!!! Why wear masks or limit the amount of customers in the store if the employees are violating sanitary protocol... so gross. We went to this location on July 20th 2021 around eight and waited in line for an hour, they were an hour behind on the orders and it wasn't till we got to the door that the manager came out and told us that we could wait in line for an hour or he can give everyone a card to come back for a free cookie. Their was a family of six in front of me and when they asked the manager for a card for them individually he gave it to them without a hesitation. When it was my turn in line to see the manager to give me a card, I politely asked him if I could have two extra cards cause I was in line for two other family members and he straight up told me to my face that each card cost him four dollars each. Although he had no hesitation given it to the family in front of me idk why he had the nerve to tell me that if it was cause of the color of my skin or what but I did not disrespect him any way or anything I just took my cards and left with disgust. It was my first time there there were no directions or information and nobody read it me you buy your cookies on the wall you can't really see them there's just like pictures in the computer where you're buying them then after I bought them I was able to see an example of what they look like in real life because that's what's on the counter which is not near the stations to buy them. The ladies and they're really nice once I saw them I was upset and she let me change my order so she gets points for that. They were extremely overpriced and then when you buy them on the there's only the first page that tells you how much they cost but then as you move on to the next pages and they tell you how if you buy two more you'll save this much money and then you go to the next page and also if you buy more you'll save this much more but there's never a reminder of how much it cost or how much the first cookie was to remind you of how much you've been spending as you double and quadruple the amount of cookies you're buying. There was one called the chocolate chip muffin top or something like that and it was cookie but it was a muffin and that whole situation is just confusing for me and I didn't like that. Okay now that the horrible stuff is over let me tell you about how delicious these cookies were! I love peanut butter cookies and I can never find good ones they're usually really really dry or oily or they don't taste peanut buttery enough but the base cookie part of the muddy buddy cookie was fantastic!!! Then I bought this chocolate and mint cookie which sounded gross and when I saw it it looked okay so I thought I would try it phenomenal!!! So the bottom line is their large they are delicious they're not large enough for the price I would wait for a coupon or Groupon or some sort of discount situation buy one get one or something because they're just astronomically ridiculously priced but they are good. read more

Delicious cookies if you enjoy soft chewy cookies. My brother gave my family a chocolate chip and two sugar cookies. My husband who isn't too into sweets said these were the best he's ever had. I've only tried the chocolate chip so far, but they weren't great imo. They're big cookies and very thick which isn't my thing, but if you like thick chocolate chip cookies then you'll love them. I heard they were expensive but I was willing to give it a shot. I went at 9:30 AM and the line was long, so I came back at 12:30 and the line was even longer, so I decided to wait anyhow. The wait was only about 15 minutes, so it looked worse than it was. They were already out of two flavors, so you may want to go in the morning. They're very friendly and someone was outside to answer any questions you had before being allowed to enter the store. I asked why the curb side pick up wasn't an option when it appeared to be an option online. I was told they shut that down completely when they are really busy, because they can't keep up. The kitchen is open, so you can see the operation is very clean, which is a plus. read more
