What makes the wings is the sauces, although some sauces are less viscous than others(which is not my typical preference. I enjoy a thick sauce that sits on my wings!). I don't know how this place has over four stars. The moment I walked in I knew this place needs help. The tables were dirty, the floors were sticky, and the place was dead quiet. It felt super awkward. Tip: Try buying a Bluetooth speaker or anything to liven up the dining room. The overall cleanliness of the dining room was a turn off and shows that the operators just don't care. I ordered 5 pc wings with sweet and spicy sauce. It was okay. Nothing special, but not bad. Split half-and-half sweet spicy and honey garlic wings with my coworkers. They had a really nice texture, but the sauces were just mediocre for me. Less sweet and more flavor would be nice. They served it with fries, and I ordered potatoes, which was a mistake. They were not flavored, and the fries were just frozen fries - nothing special. The main issue, though, is that they serve portions that are laughably large. Nobody can eat that many potatoes. They should work more on the flavor, and cut the portion by 70%. With the amount of reviews and the amount of stars this place has, I chose to try it when I was passing through Cypress, and I must admit that I'm not quite sure how the it's rated what it is at. Don't get me wrong, it's not that it's bad or anything, it's just nothing special. I think the rating yelp says of 'A-OK' describes it best. I ordered the two lunch specials to go, one with the garlic honey sauce and fries, and the other with the sweet and spicy sauce with rice. When I got home, I though the wings were a little smaller that what I expected. By taking it to go, the sauce was on the side, instead of being tossed in it. So maybe that's where I went wrong. So I would just dip the chicken in the sauce and it was ok. Fried chicken was good, but you can go to a fast food fried chicken place and get something bigger for the same price. So the sauce is where they differ. The honey garlic was really sweet and I didn't like it at first, but it grew on me after a bit. I'm not really a fan of the sweet and spicy though. It did have a nice spicy kick if that's what you were going for but I personally just wasn't a fan. I didn't like the rice at first as well, but the next day when I ate it at leftovers, it was pretty good reheated. And the fries were fine, I ate them on my drive home. I was surprised how good the chicken was for such an unassuming exterior. Service was fast but it was not during rush hour. We shared 15 wings, half honey garlic and half plain with soy garlic on the side. The honey garlic was our favorite but both were good. The chicken itself was fresh, juicy, and crunchy. Their mascot is a cute chicken in the shape of an egg! Besides having an adorable logo, their food is delicious. We got the extra sweet spicy and the honey garlic on boneless and bone-in wings. This includes fries, coleslaw, and pickled radishes. The chicken is so crispy and soo crunchy, and the sauces were delicious! FREE soft serve vanilla ice cream. FANTASTIC. The honey garlic sauce had actual garlic pieces in the sauce, and the honey was just sweet enough to complement the garlicky kick. The extra sweet spicy was by far my favorite. The chicken burger is very good, but there are some critiques from me. The extra spicy wasn't spicy and I felt they used too much sauce. I usually like a lot of sauce but because they put it on top and not on the side it took away from the crunchiness of the chicken as I ate it. Overall the chicken by itself was crunchy and flavorful. The burger is a good size for what you pay, and I was able to get full off of just the burger. The burger itself is enough to have me come back, although I haven't tried anything else. read more

I like this korean fried chicken place. It has more flavors than other popular kfc places aka more than 3 flavors and I dont have to make a drive down to buena park. My favorite flavor here is of course the honey garlic, where else can you find another kfc place that has honey garlic, okay, probably somewhere but not as good as this place. I took some wings to go that were drenched in sauce already and it was still crispy when i went home. Well I do live like 15 mins away, no traffic. The bigger wing combo comes with fries and like 2 onion rings, coleslaw, and daikon(apx $20). They give you a lot of fries but it is not delicious and crispy like the wings. This combo will definitely make two hungry person full and possibly three. If you take it to go, try to leave the container as open as possible, so the steam can go out resulting in no soggy food. And maybe take that plastic bag out of the way. This place already open the container for me when it was done so yay. Being born and raised in NorCal I've always believed certain types of food were better up there. Korean chicken being one of them. However, this place single-handedly tops every Korean Fried Chicken I've ever had. On my birthday my boyfriend asks what I would like to eat for dinner. After a long day at work I didn't want to go out for dinner so I suggested we just get take-out. Crunchicken popped up on my Yelp. I've had it saved for a few months because my coworkers absolutely adore this place but I haven't had the chance to go. So the perfect opportunity had just presented itself to us and we had to take it. We ordered through the phone, got about 15 pieces of chicken (garlic, sweet/spicy) and went to pick it up. It was ready as soon as we got there so service is pretty quick. They gave us 6 small containers of radish! Typically if you dine in you would get unlimited refills of ban chan, but I've never seen places be so generous for take out orders. Very impressed. Chicken review: WOWZA I love this chicken. The skin is super crunchy and light. Korean chicken has always been amazing because it doesn't taste like it's been doused in oil and deep fried. But this one really takes the cake. Their garlic sauce was also very sweet and garlicky. The sweet and spicy one was surprisingly spicy but so full of flavor that the spicyness ended up adding a desirable heat. The next day I took my leftovers to work and it was still crunchy! Even after it had been sitting all night in sauce. Came here for lunch back in August 2017 but I'm finally getting to finishing my review! I came here with my son and we ordered the 15 piece boneless chicken with fries and coleslaw. I asked for 6 spicy BBQ and 9 honey garlic but when we got home my son noted that there were 10 spicy BBQ and 11 honey garlic pieces! It was a huge portion. The order took about 10 minutes because they make everything to order. Definitely worth the wait. While we waited we had some free vanilla soft serve ice cream! They also gave us more fries than we could even eat. The chicken was very flavorful and was still crunchy even with the sauce on it. I'm very picky about my coleslaw and theirs was yummy! I am rating this because of the horrible customer service. The young girl taking the order really needs to find another type of work. She is rude and has horrible delivery. From the point of ordering, I had to repeat myself several times. When I told her I was just ordering for my 2 kids, she looked annoyed and she could not contain her annoyance with the tone of her voice. My son ordered the wrong type of chicken, which I realized after the price seemed off. I corrected the order and again she seemed irritated. Even if she was annoyed, maybe she needs acting classes so she can at least fake how she really feels. She then served us 2 real cokes from the bottle and forgot to give us the opener. When we asked about it, she looked annoyed again, and then fetched the bottle order and placed it on the table instead of offering to open it. She also gave us one measly napkin to wipe off the sticky chicken from our faces! I was so disgusted that I wanted to cancel my order. The only reason I didn't was because the kids were really hungry and wanted the chicken. I won't be back here. Especially since she seemed oblivious to her lack of basic etiquette and professionalism or maybe she just didn't give a crap! Maybe that's why the place is empty and has a "PASS" on the window.
