    Wings w/ Sauce (4pc)
    Katrina C.

Came across this restaurant a couple weeks ago. I was craving Korean fried chicken. Their chicken wings are good but could've used a little more salt. They were kind to throw in an extra wing for free, which was a great surprise. Their fries definitely could've used more salt too. It's unfortunate because they had potential. I had to add ketchup, which is something I do rarely. I only use ketchup when the fries aren't up to par.

Small, very clean Mom and Pop store with the wife at the counter and the husband working away at the open kitchen making the best tasting Korean Style Double Fried Chicken with various types of batters and sauce to make you float away from the current world that's gone mad and give you a blissful moment of culinary ecstasy and tasteful Korean Yang Nyum (Spicy Sauce)! The 12 piece whole chicken with two separate Yang Nyum such as Garlic Spice or Soy Sauce are two of the more popular options. They have 15 pieces of chicken wings with one or two different spices. The freshly made hot and crispy crunchy original fried chicken is by far my favorite but maybe you may like one of different spicy or sauces better. Dear Mukbang friends and relatives: Don't waste your time anywhere else like the usual Traditional Franchise fast food outfits with same old fashioned fried chicken. This is the perfect way to enjoy the Fried Chicken!

I saw this place as I was driving by and decided to give it a try. I am so glad that I did! There's a lot of Korean fried chicken places nearby but this has been my favorite so far. Since it was my first time I took my time and staff was very helpful as I was choosing my option. Usually chicken places are more bread than chicken, but this was the perfect ratio. I will definitely be back!

Chicken tenders (Honey Garlic and Sweet Spicy)

When I found out that this place replaced my BBQ gem that was Smokey Teriyaki, I was pretty bummed. But I wouldn't hold it against them and gave them a shot. This is definitely a great KFC (Korean fried chicken) spot. I got the 15 piece chicken tenders with the Honey garlic and sweet spicy flavors. The honey garlic combined the nice sweetness of the honey with the savory-ness of the garlic and chicken. It was delicious. The sweet spicy was also so good because the spiciness mixed with the sweet and savory chicken just made it irresistible. It seems the key to delicious food is mixing up the taste palette. Definite something to try especially if you want some variety in your fried poultry!

Such a pleasant surprise! For $20 you can get a generous portion of fries and half a chicken tossed in sauce with a pop, side of pickled radish and even soft serve icecream!? Not only is this a great deal, it was DELICIOUS. Such a great find, service was friendly and attentive, food came out quick and hot. The batter of the chicken is evenly coated and not too heavy. We opted for soy garlic this visit and really couldn't get enough of it! The pool of sauce on the bottom was just bonus sauce for our fries! The portion of radish to chicken was a bit small, so I'd recommend asking for additional. (Not sure if it's an extra charge?) We ended up taking the chicken to go, so I didn't get to try the soft serve but with this being a take out order and it still being this good- I'll definitely be back to try the other flavors!

Amazing food and the ice cream machine is the perfect touch. Imagine while you wait you get to cool down with soft serve ice cream, perfect idea! Thank you

A while back, my husband and I took Katella Avenue on both our trips to and from Disneyland, mainly to explore interesting restaurants along the way. Few months ago, we stumbled upon a fried chicken spot with a quirky name. After checking out the reviews (which were excellent), we decided to give it a try. The owner of this fried chicken place seems to be run by Korean, and the vibe reminded me of those small neighborhood chicken places in Seoul. We ordered half a chicken (5 pieces) for $14.99, which came with a small side of pickled radish. Although the wait was a bit long, the chicken was fried so well--super crispy and flavorful. We chose the Extra Sweet Spicy sauce, which the staff recommended. It was absolutely delicious and not spicy at all! Surprisingly, they also serve fried rice (with bits of sausage!), and the price is incredibly reasonable. A small portion, which even comes with a side of teriyaki sauce, costs just $5.99. Honestly, that kind of pricing is hard to find in Southern California! They also sell frozen fried chicken (perfect for reheating in an air fryer at home) and Jayone frozen kimbap for $3.99 each, the same price as local Korean supermarkets. If you dine in, there's free soft-serve ice cream (you can refill it yourself, though the container is one of those small sauce cups). They also have a water dispenser for self-service and provide wet wipes, which is always a nice touch. The only downside? No restroom! Overall, we really enjoyed the food and will definitely return for their fried chicken. Crunchicken 11513 Knott Ave, Cypress, CA 90630

    4pc chicken tender combo!
    Ian C.

I was really craving some chicken today and saw this place wasn't really too far from my work so I decided to check this place out. Located in a strip mall there is plenty of parking around so no hassle there. The restaurant and seating area itself is pretty spacious. I walked up and was debating between a chicken bowl and the tenders and opted to get the 4pc chicken tender combo that came with fries and a drink. Altogether it was around $15. Lady that took the order was nice and food took about 5-10 mins. I decided to get the sauce on the side which was the honey garlic sauce. Opening the box I was surprised that there was more than 4 pieces and was pretty happy about that! The pieces looked absolutely crunchy and the fries looked great but how did it taste?... I am happy to report that this is some pretty damn good chicken! Crunchy to the bite and once dipped in the honey garlic sauce, it was savory and delicious. The fries were crunchy as well and tasted really good! For the price I paid I have to admit with the amount of food received it's almost a steal (even with the hyperinflation... lol) the tenders were delicious and would definitely order again! It looked like this place is family owned so I can't recommend it more if you need a chicken fix! Definitely get it here!!

Found this little gym when I was on my way from a store. I love Korean fried chicken so when I found out that this place is only 10 minutes away. I just placed an order for pick up and never regretted that decision. Parking is plenty in their plaza, and they were able to accommodate fresh food just in time with my eta arrival. Would love to come back next time!

Nice touch with the positive sticker!

Chicken is tender inside, crunchy outside, but not greasy at all. Quick service. Clean little place inside a strip mall. Will be back for sure

CrunChicken has the crunchiest chicken! They have a variety of sauces. My favorite is the honey soy garlic. I usually get the 4 piece tenders or wings, and have never been able to finish it. The price point is fairly cheap considering the amount of food and quality. The food came out quickly, and best of all, they give you complimentary soft serve ice cream while you wait! The staff are very friendly, and the music is nice also. Not loud, cozy feeling.

A chicken lovers gem This place is located in the corner of a little shopping center, you may overlook it when you're passing by. But you shouldn't. Their chicken tasted amazing. Perfectly crusted, juicy and full of flavor. They had reasonable prices and their portion size fit with a charge. Looks like a small little mom and pop shop, but don't let that dissuade you from their awesome flavors. The one thing that I did like about them, is that they do sell wings to go. So if you want to look like, just buy some of their wings, fry them up and serve them and let your company be amazed. If I'm in the area, I will definitely revisit this place. Not to mention they give you a free ice cream when you come in. What more do you want?

There were a lot of customers waiting and there was a good combo deal. We got the GGG Combo ($18.98) which comes with their best selling Hainan Chicken Rice, a side of the Chicken Broth, and a Sugarcane drink. My boyfriend opted for the lychee sugarcane. It did take a while to prepare, so if you are ordering from multiple spots, I recommend putting this order in first. It's probably because they're busy but at least you know the food is fresh. The Hainan chicken rice here comes with the traditional rice cooked with chicken broth and the 3 dipping sauces. The soy sauce was good, chili sauce didn't have ginger unlike other similar spots, and the ginger sauce was a little salty. The sauces really have a big effect on meals like this, but it was overall decent. The chicken broth was very pure but bland. It could use more seasoning but it might just be their take on how chicken broth should be. Overall we felt like their Hainan chicken is not as good as Savoy, but better than Cluck2Go. As for the sugarcane drink with lychee. It was too too sweet. Even as the ice melted down it was too sweet. My boyfriend said I made a grossed out face when he ordered it... haha... oops. I normally like both of those flavors individually but together I can see them being 2 overly sweet ingredients. Better pairings for the sugarcane drink is definitely the kumquat, but they were out of it, and I also see the calamansi. An acidic or sour flavor would better cut through the natural sweetness of sugarcane. Overall a good value pic among the many options at Rodeo 39. I don't mind sharing it with the boyfriend if he wants to come back.

The honey garlic chicken was also pretty good, but it's not really special since many other chicken restaurants also have it and they taste pretty much the same to me. What I do like is that they didn't use too much batter, so it's crunchy without feeling creasy/oily. The corn cheese has some sweet potato pieces in it, my mom personally likes that. I find the corn cheese to have a little too much cheese, as the cheese was overpowering the corn. Same for the pizza, the cheese was overpowering all of the other ingredients. I honestly was expecting the pizza to be Korean styled, but it's basically American pizza with the meats replaced by bulgogi and sweet potatoes, so that was kinda disappointing. For the Fiery Chicken with Cheese, the server came with a blowtorch to melt the cheese tableside, which was quite the show and made the experience even more fun. The service was excellent throughout the meal, with staff being friendly, attentive, and engaging. Because they are known for their Sotbap, it was only fitting that the star of the show was the Sotbap. I'll definitely be back to try their other Sotbaps, especially the LA Galbi, bulgogi and pork bulgogi.

Went to Top Sot for lunch today after hearing their ssambap was really good. The food honestly did…read morenot disappoint -- the ssambap was delicious, the side dishes were amazing, and the overall portion and quality for the price were excellent. About two-thirds through the vegetable plate, I noticed a bug in the greens. I quietly brought it to the kitchen so I wouldn't disturb other customers. The staff apologized immediately and kindly offered complimentary drinks, which I declined. Even after that experience, the food itself was so good that I still finished the rest of the meal and paid in full. I can tell they cared about the situation and handled it professionally. I really wanted to give 5 stars because the food was genuinely excellent, but because of the bug, I have to give 4 stars. Hopefully they pay a little more attention to the vegetables going forward, because the restaurant truly has great food and great potential.
