This all you can eat KBBQ is quite good. The meat was good, and was ordered through the app. The appetizers and sides and a few non-meat things to grill are available as a food bar. What we did not notice was that there were some hot / fresh sides you had to order with the app, so we'll remember that for next time. Ahh, cheese corn, you will have to wait. The servers periodically changed the grate when it started to smoke. The grill was hot in the middle but not so much at the edges, which limited the usable cooking surface. Soft serve ice cream (chocolate or vanilla or swirl) was the only dessert available. I haven't seen a place in the OC area where they specialize in Sotbap (hot pot rice). This place specifically offers a course menu of Ssam Bap, which includes: pot rice, side dishes, leaf wraps, soybean paste stew, iron plate of your choice of meat or seafood. I ordered the Squid Bulgogi Ssam Bap, which is their stir-fried squid in a spicy and savory sauce. The squid was perfectly cooked and so fun to eat with all the different lettuce wraps they provided: steamed cabbage, perilla leaves, romaine lettuce, jalapeños, carrots and cucumbers served with their housemade dip (ssamjang). I also ordered their Galbi + Spicy Cold Noodle Combo (non-spicy option also available) and the Fiery Chicken with Cheese. For the Fiery Chicken with Cheese, the server came with a blowtorch to melt the cheese tableside, which was quite the show and made the experience even more fun. The service was excellent throughout the meal, with staff being friendly, attentive, and engaging. Because they are known for their Sotbap, it was only fitting that the star of the show was the Sotbap. My friend and I stumbled upon this place cause we were craving some Korean food. There was no wait on a Saturday afternoon and we sat quickly. The ordering system was super easy to use on a tablet. The portions at this place are hefty and I would say is considered hearty and healthy. I got the ssambab + squid bulgogi. It included a big plate of veggies, pot rice, and a soup! Of course, you can't forgot about the banchan. It was a lot of food and I had bulgogi and veggie leftovers at the end of the meal. This place was recommended by a friend and she was right that it was authentic and delicious. They even have the tables with drawers that house their utensils like in South Korea. It's a tiny place maybe 8 tables and there's only 1 person taking orders. Luckily when we arrived there was 1 table left for our party of 3. We ordered the seafood pancake and the bulgogi that came with all the banchan. These 2 orders were more than enough for the 3 of us. We loved the seafood pancake here because it was thick and crispy. ( some places the pancake is soggy.) It was full of seafood like octopus and shrimp. The bulgogi was very good too. Since it's relatively new, I don't think many people know about it because when I went on a Saturday evening, we were quickly seated with only one other party in the restaurant. My mom introduced me to this place and I'm so glad she did because this place was the highlight of my month. My mom ordered in Korean so I'll tell you from the best of my knowledge. I got their Soba and it's now my favorite spot to get soba; soba tasted fresh and taste was super spot on for me. The soba came with 2 sides (idk the name of it). My favs: Soy sesame pickled celery was sweet and savory. Cilantro kimchi with tomato was sweet and refreshing. Fried eggplant was lightly battered and eggplant was super soft. Kind of like a tempura. Ssambap (4/5): Good variety of greens that were super fresh. Wish we got a few more perilla leaves. Ssamjang was very good- super subtle, nutty, and had bits of almonds and walnuts inside. We got bulgogi and squid. Flavor was decent, but portions were slightly underwhelming. The pictures make it seem like more. Doenjang jjigae was way too salty. The rice had the perfect chew. They make it crispy so you can add hot water at the end and turn it into a soup. Definitely tasty and worth trying, but not sure if it was worth the price. Pork cutlet (3.5/5): The sauce was pretty unique, but everything else was pretty standard. They definitely hammer down the pork real thin. Beef and radish soup (3/5): There were maybe 4 large chunks of beef. A little bit of glass noodles. The flavor was meh. It was also way too salty. We actually didn't finish it. Wouldn't get again. Seafood noodle (4/5): The noodle portion of this was actually a lot. Probably enough to split into 7 small bowls, each bowl having maybe 3 little pieces of seafood. There's mostly clam, squid, shrimp, and zucchini. The soup was very thick but not overly salty. Service (4/5): All the utensils and stuff are in the table drawer and you order from your phone. The side dishes came out pretty quickly. I would say the service is pretty "Asian" in that they're very efficient and constantly scanning, but there's not much interaction otherwise unless you ask for something specific. I assume you might get better service if you're actually Korean. For 6 adults, we were all pretty satisfied. Total came to about $150 before tax and tip. Parking was a breeze since the lot isn't busy. Bathrooms are single stall outside and need a code. No changing table. Came here with some friends and per couple we got a regular dish and a ssam dish. Our first impressions was the aesthetic 5/5 with the more traditional gold tableware, the table having the drawer for utensils and napkins saving table space for the load of food that was going to come! I got the squid bulgogi ssam to try and my husband got the yukhwae bibimbap. From the ssam combo, I thought the neurungji was well done and I appreciated the variety of veggies. As for the squid, I was lost on the flavor. Texture was fine and had a mild spicy taste but there was not much flavor. My friend's spicy bulgogi one (pork I think) was more flavorful so if I got ssam again, I'd probably get that or try the fire chicken. As for yukhwae, my husband said it was ok...it reminded me of the Korean poke bowls (hwae dupbap) but with raw meat instead. We have a go-to spit for yukhwae so our standards are definitely high. I've seen this place many times on my many visits to Komi Buffet a few storefronts away, but never thought to come here as I've been to many Korean BBQ places before but was never impressed and haven't bothered to write reviews for the other K BBQs. Parking - 5/5 Since the restaurant is located in a shopping plaza, parking was easy and plentiful, which is always a big plus when dining with family. Dining experiences are inevitably subjective and shaped by personal taste and expectations. If you arrive expecting bold, punch you in the face flavor, this place might initially feel understated. But that restraint is exactly what made the meal enjoyable for us. Many popular, long-line restaurants deliver intense flavors upfront, often relying heavily on MSG to create that immediate "wow" factor. While exciting at first, those meals can become overwhelming, leaving you feeling overly thirsty and fatigued afterward. Here, the flavors felt clean and balanced comforting without being bland and we experienced none of that post-meal heaviness or excessive thirst. Took a couple of my close friends out last Friday to try something new, and we ended up at Top Sot. Funny enough, this place was actually last on our list out of like 7-8 spots we were considering... but I'm really glad we landed here. I was looking for something more traditional, and the menu caught my attention right away. Felt a little different from the usual Korean spots around Buena Park, so I figured why not give it a shot. Not everything was perfect--the initial greeting could've been a bit warmer--but honestly, that's the only thing I can even point out. The food more than made up for it. From the side dishes to the mains, everything just hit. The squid bulgogi had great flavor and a nice kick, the donkatsu was crispy and satisfying, and the soy sauce crab was honestly one of my favorites of the night. The tofu dishes (stew and braised tofu) were also really comforting and done right. I also got a chance to chat briefly with the owner, who's also the main cook. Super genuine, you can tell she really cares about the food and what she's putting out. I already told my friends--we're coming back. There's still a bunch on the menu I want to try, and this might end up being one of my go-to spots in Buena Park. Really solid dinner overall. Looking forward to the next visit. read more

Unique spot that seems to specialize in wraps. We got two of their regular entrees since we popped in for lunch. The yukkoe bibimbap was good and the portion was pretty big. Husband got their donkatsu set which was pretty big. I liked their banchan which included pa kimchi, celery kimchi, tempura eggplant and a cilantro salad. SERVICE: The service was great! The waitresses were constantly checking in on us to make sure everything tasted good and to refill our teas and water! AMBIANCE: Small but nicely designed and clean. This place is a hidden gem! The food spread was incredible -- so many flavors and everything tasted authentic and fresh. This used to be a different restaurant until about 3 months ago at the time of this review, now it's a homey Korean restaurant specializing in ssambap, where you make little lettuce-wrapped bites with meat and rice! They have other options too; we tried the beef rib soup, seafood soup, and pork cutlet, all decent though the soups may be salty for some, but the ssambap is the real star of the show. Combined with unique banchan, some of which I've never seen served elsewhere, a super savory ssamjang, and fluffy rich pot rice that comes with your ssambap combo, each little wrap I made was a mouthful of savory goodness! Staff was super friendly and accommodating for my family gathering, place was very clean and food came out promptly after ordering! I believe they just recently implemented QR code menu + ordering from your phone too to expedite service. Would definitely recommend! read more

What a great new find! The food was all so very delicious~~~ the three of us ordered the spicy octopus ssam, beef tartare bibimbap, raw crab & Korean bbq short rib ssam. The table was full! The banchans (side dishes) looked very simple but were so on point. I especially enjoyed the cilantro/tomato side dish. It was so refreshing! The place is small and started getting packed at lunchtime. I would recommend getting there before the rush because the place is not large. Definitely will be coming back! read more
