Spots like these bring me back to 32nd and 5 ave in NYC, to places like Third Floor, BonChon, and Baden Baden. It obviously doesn't have that same drinking environment BUT, they do have some legit Korean style fried chicken. The crispy batter is perfectly crunchy and seasoned brilliantly. And the meat is so tender, succulent, and tastes amazing. They have a wide variety of flavors and sauces that will appeal to most palates, and prices are very reasonable. A whole chicken costs about $15.50, whereas an 8 pc bucket from KFC is just about $15. read more

24 bucks for two 8 pcs boneless wings. I called in my order and I was told 20 minutes. I showed up 19 minutes later, she took my order and put in the ticket. You can clearly see the kitchen from the register (if your tall enough) there was a counter full of cooked chicken. The "chef" stabbed the cooked wings with a utensil and put them in the fryer ( I suppose to cook the tiny, little piece of Heavily battered chicken yet again!) Then, I watch as the "Chef" takes par cooked fries and drops them into the fryer for about 15 seconds, just enough to get them really limp and greasy. The Only redeeming qualities of this place were the sauces and the waitress. On the other hand, if you enjoy good sauces and a Lot of batter, this is the place. Side note; I don't know why she told me 20 minutes when they weren't going to put the order in until I arrived anyway, hmmm, maybe because it's all pre-cooked and re-fried. I don't know why this place has such a high rating. So, the fries are meh, the coleslaw is meh, and even the radishes are meh. Lol, how are the radishes meh? Well, they taste fine, but 1, they are cut too small, and 2, they don't go well with the chicken. Now, the chicken. There might be better flavors and I've only been here once, but I tried their "most popular" one which is the honey garlic and it was drenched in a pool of it. I don't even know how this qualifies as "Korean fried chicken." If you've tried KyoChon, BBQ Chicken (Irvine) or random places in K-Town or Korean bars, this tastes nothing like it. The only thing good about it is the portions. So worth it to replace the fries with the fried rice. Ohhh and they have fried avocados...worth trying.
