What a neat place to visit! It's tucked away inside the AMC center, on the 2nd floor! It was a great upbeat place, full of unique artwork! The food was amazing! All was super fresh and tasty! The pretzel and beer cheese was delicious! The burger was by far one of the best burgers we had ever had, the fries were a great pair! The pizza was tasty and the mozzarella was so fresh! It's pretty okay, majority of my beers were good, except the mega chill. I had the flight and the chicken spinach wrap. My friend had to brisket and we split the fries. If I recall correctly everything is al a carte. Service was good until it's time to pay, servers always seem to disappear. It's not very big and it seems to be a revolving door, please come and go quite quickly and I visited on a Saturday afternoon. Ambiance is cool, nothing special really, I like the large lego menu, that is unique. Wouldn't mind returning in the future. read more

Just ok for me. It's a very nice space, but the beers could use a bit more pop. I tried 5 different beers and 4 of them were just ok, just not much depth. I did enjoy their Neon Werewolf IPA which was pretty tasty. The nachos are solid, especially topped with the pork. Great spot to get a drink/good after watching a movie at the AMC upstairs! Had no problem getting a table for 3 on a Saturday evening. The beers were delicious -- I liked the neon werewolf which was quite fruity and hazy. The daily routine was a solid american IPA. The food: was everything we wanted, especially the pretzel with beer cheese! we got a flight and then a couple rounds, the beer was the best beer we've had on our trip. Although the beer and food met our Southern California expectations, the staff was even better! Tina and Grace had the best hospitality, and service. Tiny hidden gem in Chicago. We were in the city for a quick trip and thought we'd see if any breweries were near our hotel. I'm glad we walked over because we really enjoyed it! We didn't try any of the food but did have a few beers. Don't let that one review about it not being anything great mislead you. It was very low key and the perfect spot to chat over a good beer. We split a flight because their pours are 5 ounces, and with a taste all 6 of their beers we were quite satiated. Their beers are incredible; which, given that I don't normally like IPAs and 3 were solid IPAs, is saying a lot! It's a relatively limited offering of a couple of cocktails and a couple of taps, so you don't need a lot of waitstaff advice to figure it out. bar: Beer is the thing here. Yeah, there are a couple of cocktails, but they're just OK. As an IPA fan, I drank their Neon Werewolf. Sizes are a bit odd, it's 13 oz for $9. Good, solid, workman-like IPA. Really nice place, feels more upscale than most other Chicago breweries. The beer list is a bit short and the strongest beer is only 6.5%, which was a little disappointing, but the Hazy IPA and the Jentil Giant brews were very tasty. Crushed by Giants has a good menu with delicious burgers, nachos, and pretzels, too! It's located in the same building as the AMC theatre which makes it a convenient stop before and/or after the movie. Highly recommend coming here to show out of town guests a cool, unique local spot. read more

Amazing customer service, and attentive bartender. Most bartenders get tunnel vision, but not this guy. They were understaffed and a huge group came in. The bartender covered the whole bar and 7 four-tops as a server. The whole time he kept track over everyone, letting us know he was getting to us. The guys next to me were leaving and waiting to have their credit card run. Realizing he was too busy, they ponied up the cash and left it on the bar. The bartender chased them down, saying it was on the house and gave them the cash back. Unfortunately, they took it. They weren't annoyed, just realized the reality of the situation. They're cash still shorted the tip, and yet they took it all. Imagine a bartender giving his tip back to a patron, much less a bar that allows him to do so. I'll tip to make up for his loss... but not enough to cover their tab :-) read more

Stopped here for a drink and snacks while walking down the Magnificent Mile. My wife and I split a flight and an appetizer. The flight was good, but they had a predetermined group of beers for the flight which I'm not a huge fan of. My favorite of the beers was definitely the Neon Werewolf, a NEIPA. To snack, we had the Cauliflower and Curds, fried and with Buffalo sauce which was outstanding, definitely would order again. A great little brewery! This is such a better option than getting overpriced food and drinks at the movies. It's right underneath AMC and when we went they had a promo for a free small beer before or after your movie. We had the beer flight, some neon werewolves, and the turkey wings. Everything was so great and beer was delicious. Also their logo and glassware designs are so so cool. It's definitely not a huge place with limited seating and I personally loved the intimacy of it. This is in the former "Heaven on Seaven" space. Remember when they putted in the brew tanks back in Nov.? The menu is half Mexican. I started out with the Caesar salad and then I had the Brisket sandwich. Their house made giardiniera aoili was great. The staff and service was superb. They have paper menus again like PB&J (pizza, beer, & jukebox, look at my review on that) cause of the new normal. Restaurants should always have print. What if someone's battery runs out? I know this is summer but they don't have bar hooks which is terrible. No patron wants to put their stuff on the floor and cause of that I'm only giving it four stars. Nice little spot with a decent view. This place is in the upper level of AMC building, and if you can get by the windows it's a cool vibe. We sat there an a snowy day, and it was great to watch the snow come down and all the people hustling around. We ordered the flight of six beers, and they were all good, none really blew us away, but none were bad either. They only do have the 6 beers on draft currently, so there are limited beers ordering wise, but they did have a nice variety across the 6 beers, so while you may not be blown away, there did seem to be something for everyone. We also ordered the burger and chips, and it was great, the burger was perfectly balanced with the pickled onions and carmelized onion working really well together. It was cooked perfectly, so a really good burger here and the chips were plentiful and a great compliment to the beers. Overall, a nice spot! read more

What a great find! In town for conference and lunch was on our own. This was a short walk from the Intercontinental hotel. The place was not crowded when we got there. The bartender waited on us and did a great job. Their burgers are fantastic. And they have this great sauce for their burgers. While the menu is limited it is not short on great choices. This place is so underrated!! They have awesome food, great brews, and a fantastic location in downtown Chicago, right by Michigan Ave. They have outdoor and indoor eating, and we went on a Sunday for dinner and there was plenty of room both inside and outside, although they do have a waitlist you can check on their website during busier hours. We were seated right away, and we were able to access the menu with a QR code on the table. I ordered 10oz of their Radioactive Rainbow Gose along with three of their tacos (Al Pastor, Chicken, Fish). My girlfriend ordered a Caesar Salad and a Pretzel. We LOVED everything we got! The ambiance of the place was super chill, the music was awesome, the service was fast, and all those factors helped the food taste even better! The gose was top notch, and my girlfriend who strongly dislikes beer even enjoyed it, so if you are someone who is more into cider than beer, the gose is a good choice. Next time I go, I want to try all a flight of all six of their brews. The tacos were very good, with my favorite being the fish. It had such balanced flavors of freshness coming from the corn slaw and crunch coming from the fried breading on the fish it was just incredible. Next the al pastor was pork sliced very thinly with spicy pineapple salsa bringing the flavors together. The chicken was my least favorite, but still very good and probably the spiciest of the three. It had a slow burn to it - it didn't taste very spicy, but the more I ate, the spicier it got. My girlfriend said the pretzel was one of the best she's ever had, and the portion size on the salad was really good. I will definitely be coming back here and spreading the word about it!
