Guinness Brewery is a great place to go for brunch and lunch. A lot of comfort foods with an Irish flair on the menu. The space is really open and quite big. A decent sized patio as well with also a gift shop with all kinds of fun Guinness gifts to purchase. The food is decent I really loved the Reuben egg rolls which comes with a great dipping sauce. The service was great and we didn't have to wait too long for a table either. Also TVs available if you want to go somewhere and catch a game.

Stopped in for lunch. Place is huge with both indoor and outdoor seating. Merchandise and take home booze when you first walk in. Friendly service. Ordered the og burger and a guiness draught stout. Feel like you have to drink it within the first 10 mins or it gets stale quick. Worth it though. Og burger was good but nothing special. Fries were a mixture of curly, waffle, and traditional with a strong seasoning and heavy salt. Looks like a great spot to hang.

Cool place with a good vibe and a decent variety of beer, including every Guinness variant. We sat at the bar and enjoyed the banter with the bartenders. We didn't eat but the food menu was solid. Half the space is filled by merchandise available to buy. Mellow crowd with only a few TVs, so different from the sports bar type of places. A good place to go for a bite to eat and a beer while having a nice conversation.

I've been to this location a couple of times now, and I will definitely say this is a great spot to visit with a large group! The brewery itself is spacious and has beautiful finishes. It can be a little overwhelming, as there's often a lot of people both working and visiting. We've yet to try the food, but you can always enjoy the drinks! This trip was the first time we've sat in their patio area. Which seemed to be the spot to hang while waiting for a formal table. I'm sure we will be back!

Food is just okay but the ambiance is pretty cool since we went for st patty's day. Service was good. Guinness tasted pretty good off the tap. 7.5/10

I am thinking the rush and excitement has started to die down. It was pretty dead on a Friday afternoon. Street parking is limited, but we scored a spot. I tried 2 small pours of their ipas. They were both good. My husband tried one of their cocktails and it was strange. They have flights too and they are named MDW and ORD, how clever! We did not try any food on our visit. Price of beer is reasonable, but merch in the gift shop is high and overpriced.

Loved my experience at Guinness! It's really exciting to see this in the US! They have lots of beer options aside from their famous stout. A majority of the beers were brewed in house with a couple of guest taps. They also have cocktails and non alcoholic options, as well! I ordered the beef burger well done on a lettuce bun. The beef burger was delicious! It was thick and had a nice char on the outside yet the inside was still juicy! However, my colleagues ordered fish and chips and they all had an upset stomach.

Went here after a long day and it was pretty great. Got to sit at the harp bar (what a cute feature!) and had a couple rounds and some bread and fries. The bread and the butter that came with it?? Incredible. Haven't had such good bread since I was in Ireland. The fries and whatever sauce came with it?? Also incredible. My friend and I looked at the menu afterwards and decided we have to come back at least twice more when we get our butts back to Chicago. The only downfall? Everything is so darn expensive. Inflation/city prices are killing me.

Finally got to check out this brewery at a time it wasn't as crowded. Guinness Open Gate is the American location where they brew this famous brand from Ireland. It has the classics you already know plus a few they brew specially. A tourist trap at times so go when it isn't jammed. They also have a kitchen. Certainly it can get busy. It's one of the newer big places that have opened in the West Loop. There was already a lot of people around here and this makes it even worse. At least the beers are great. It's about $8 a pint. Yes the prices are bad though. A few varieties that can't be gotten anywhere else. There's not a ton but there's a few. One we got was the Kinzie Street Pale Ale. This is made with Citra and Galaxy hops and is mildly bitter. You can get pretty good food too. It's about $20 for an entree. Yes these are a lot too. I got the Chickpea Coconut Curry. This has bell peppers, coconut milk, jasmine rice, lime, naan, and tomatoes. Great place to check out a few Irish beers you can't get elsewhere. It's located on Kinzie at Peoria. There's meaty things as well as other things for vegetarians.

Cool atmosphere and beer/beer cocktails were good. They have a gift shop too with some nice items. The Rueben egg rolls were really delicious but the fish tacos were mediocre and had very little fish on them. The service was slow and no one ever removed our dirty dishes. I expected a little more and when you are right down the street from Fulton market with so many good restaurants it feels like a waste. Thankfully we had good company!

Do NOT go here for Notre Dame football games. Even though it's an "official Notre Dame bar", the TVs are very challenging to see unless you're sitting at the bar and they don't even play the game sound. The service was also fairly slow and the didn't give any water pitcher/carafe. The food is also just ok. The best by far was the pretzel and its dips, though the cheese dip got very oniony. The cheese curds were pretty good by themselves, but I wasn't a big fan of the spicy dipping sauce. The fries were pretty good, but the burger had a sort of charry taste. Only good thing about it was the onion jam. Overall, if you're going to try some new guiness flavors or get an authentic guiness pint or some cool merch, that's great. Otherwise, another location might be better.

Guinness stout in a premier league tulip glass.

Big place, no waiting for a table. If you like Guinness stout, this is the place for you. Plus their brewer has quite a menu, changes frequently. Had the Brut Lager which was different and a creamy nitro blonde ale (plus a draft stout of course). When finding out we were premier league fans our waiter dropped off 2 premier league Guinness glasses.

Listen, there is nothing better than a Guinness, in my opinion. It took us a while to get here because of all the hype and I didnt really want to wait in line or be a part of grand opening kinks. Made a reservation for Saturday brunch. Just beer is served. No wine, mimosas or anything. This is fine for me, but I can see how other people wouldnt be down. Menu is okay. Service was okay. Ambiance was okay. All in all, im glad we went, but I can get a Guinness anywhere and most Irish bars will draw a Shamrock in the foam (unlike here).

The staff were really welcoming, for an early morning. I got the hot chocolate. Honestly that's exactly what I needed that morning. It had that real Mexican chocolate taste. Thick, creamy, smooth and rich. The cinnamon came through warm but not too strong, plus a little extra on top that hit your nose before the first sip. Sweet and it almost had this slight earthy note too... hard to explain but good. It even had that little design on top, like the ones they do on cappuccinos. Didn't expect that but it was cool. I finished it slow. Didn't wanna rush it. Just sat there taking small sips and enjoying it while it was still hot.

Set in an old warehouse that is now an art gallery event space and restaurant nestled in an older warehouse district in Bridgeport neighborhood of Chicago. Beautiful decor and laid out perfectly. The natural wood floors furniture ie tables chairs etc and iron work throughout sets the ambiance for old meets new. It works. The wide spacing between tables makes for a comfortable dining experience. So many folks come in to do their work and dine here. What a super addition to the neighborhood that less than a decade ago was essentially a street that was more a run down semi-truck alley. Great menu with neighborhood favorites leaning toward the old school Italian dishes. Sandwiches, soups, salads, and breakfasts just to name a few are all excellent. The pastries are insane and a must take home deal. I love the American Breakfast. Three eggs your way, thick diced America potatoes, thick cut bacon, and sourdough toast. Accompanied by what I believe to be home made jelly and for sure homemade gardiniera. Caruso's gardiniera actually. Diced into a relish unlike most standard gardiniera it's easier to eat with many dishes. Excellent flavor and just the right kick to it. FYI Dolce Arte also sells a to go line of homemade Caruso products from their gardiniera to past and past sauces and more. Yes, their coffee is really good too. Lavazza products I believe. The service is always on point. Casual but on point. Very friendly staff from diverse backgrounds.
