I had a great meal here tonight! Kentucky Club sandwich with sidewinder fries - and a side salad. The salad was a little watery, and not a whole lot to it - but, the croutons were great, and the blue cheese dressing was SO good! The fries were delicious, and the sandwich was awesome! The service was awesome, I think it was Matt? He gave some great suggestions, and he was attentive and friendly! The space is comfortable- old school diner-ish. My whole experience was great! The wait always seems longer than it should be on the weekends, however their friendly staff makes up for it. It's near our house and the ambiance is great. Very friendly. On to the food, the cinnamon roll is good but a little dry. They always seem to be out of them when we go. We did try a white chocolate raspberry cheese cake which was decent. My husband got the biscuits and gravy which he enjoyed and I got the huecos rancheros. They were fine but I probably won't be getting them again. I've never seen them prepared that way. read more

TLDR: good proportion sizes. Meats are juicy. Dining in is better than ToGo for sandwiches. I ordered delivery. Classic Cubano: came wrapped in parchment paper and the hoagie was sadly soggy from all the meat juice--this sandwich would be better as a dine-in item rather than ToGo. The meat however was really juicy--you kinda have to eat this sandwich with one of those slurp bites, haha. Overall the sandwich tasted great but was really high on the salt spectrum for me with the dijon and pickles and all. Don't get me wrong, it tasted great but I highly recommend getting the fruit as the side to counteract all the salt from this sandwich and a big ol' glass of water or citric juice. The sandwich is also a bit on the small side but is a good proportion. This is a good thing in my opinion--any bigger and it would induce a 3 hour long food coma where you'd also wake up with an unquenchable thirst and feel like a shriveled grape from the salt intake. Corned Beef Hash: soft and moist chunks of beef brisket! None of this dried, shriveled meat that some other places serve. Good stuff! Get your eggs runny and mix in the yolky goodness into the hash! Good proportion size, not too much and not too little--just enough to give you a Happy Belly. If you get the biscuits and gravy as a side, the gravy is packed into a separate container and is bit thick in my opinion. It's not runny at all--it plops like a spoonful of cream. I ordered a half order of B.O.B, which is biscuits and gravy with an egg. This is a really great comfort food option, with a perfectly cooked runny egg. The only downside is that is SUPER salty. I also picked up a half order of Triple Berry French Toast, it came with strawberries, blueberries, bananas, and grapes. It was pretty good, but the maple syrup was super watery and I wish it came with some whip cream! My Monte Cristo was cold. The waitress only came to the table twice, than once to bring the check. We ordered Iced Tea and our glasses sat empty the whole time we waited for our food and during our meal. Everything we asked for she didn't bring. In this case the service did alter our experience. One of our favorite go-to breakfast establishments. The service is always good. The wait to be seated can be 10-15 minutes when busy, but so worth it. We have sat in the bar a few times. The corn beef hash is the best I've had at a restaurant. We also enjoy the lemon-blueberry pancakes, they are like eating a Lucious dessert. Pumpkin pancakes are good too. Lunch I've had the Crispy Chicken salad. So good with honey-mustard dressing. Their blue burger was a hit & will definitely order one again. Fun place, cozy & family friendly. read more

I came here with a group of friends Saturday morning. It was very busy and there were about 7 people waiting to be seated ahead of us. We didn't wait too long to be seated. The water tastes weird and I noticed it in the food as well. I'm not sure if it's faucet water they're using for everything but it has a very distinct taste that's worse than water at a public park fountain. I don't even think public park fountains are bad at all. I would not be the first to suggest we come back here but would not be opposed to it either. read more

Good portion of beef which was fall apart good but seemed as though it was baked separately. Oh and the bit of mushrooms were also good. Preferred the roll instead of the toast...so good call there. First, I've only been to the Bothell location. Twice. Second, I've only had the Kobe Burger Dip sandwich. Lastly, my life is more complete because of it. This sandwich is amazing! It's juicy (you're dipping in au jus so of course it is), and delicious. I don't know how to describe it otherwise. It's not like a traditional hamburger, not really. It's more like a patty melt. With a dip. Just try it. You'll thank me. I ordered a Popeye scramble with egg whites and pancakes and I was beyond pleased with the food, probably the best/tatiest/most savory egg white scramble I've had, and the pancakes were just perfect, accompanied by quality butter and syrup. Only complaint I have is that took a while to get the attention of the folks in the front, get sat, and then to get started (coffee, water type of thing), and then to put the order in. Granted, they were busy that day, but they could have been a little more attentive. I worked in restaurants for a few years, so I pay particular attention to service quality. My boyfriend and I have been eating here 2x a week lately when we stay at McMenamins Anderson School down the street. McMenamins has a lovely breakfast restaurant, but doesn't open until 8 am. When we have work or appointments to go to, we need to eat at 7 am and Crystal Creek Cafe is open. The wait staff here is so very friendly and personable. We love the decor (vintage airplane theme) and the restaurant is so spacious and clean. We've never had a bad meal here. Portions are just the right size - we're full, but don't have to take anything home. Breakfast is served promptly and at a reasonable price.
