I've been here a few times recently and the first two times were good experiences. Friday, 11/14, the vibe was awful. The hostess was short with us and acted like we were an inconvenience because we walked in and wanted to eat there. Isn't this the nature of the business? Food was fine and our server was fine. There was a different server walking around in a Seahawks jersey, he nearly ran into us three times, no excuse me, no effort to notice there are customers trying to walk by (trying to share the walkway). I recently came for brunch because I am an aviation lover ( I love a themed cafe ) + because I love brunch with drinks! Let me start again with, I absolutely loved the atmosphere of the cafe + bakery items. As a local resident, I was excited to finally check this cafe out, especially since it has been around for years. We were promptly seated upon our arrival; by the bar + shortly after greeted by our server. This experience was a far from the positive impression I had gotten from there website + reviews. Instead of finding a cafe nearby to grab all things food we left feeling disappointed by both the service + food. I would not recommend based on this unfortunate encounter. read more

It was our first time today, and wow, were we impressed! Was recommended by a friend who told us on a Sunday to join the waitlist from the website and I'm glad we did! For a Sunday afternoon on the weekend of Thanksgiving, they were busy! It was an almost 40 minute wait but by joining the waitlist before we left the house, only had to wait around 15 mins before being seated, couldn't recommend more making sure you're checking that before you come in! The cafe was cute and decorated for the holidays, and the service was amazing for how busy it was! Everyone was so kind. Our waitress never let our coffee cups empty! The food was phenomenal, the lemon blueberry pancakes were so good, hashbrowns were crispy, biscuits and gravy were huge and hot, and my sister enjoyed the breakfast burrito immensely. This place was conveniently located next to a hotel I was staying at for three nights, but I didn't spot it until the night before I checked out. The sandwich I had was awesome and overflowing. The fries were just average though. I showed up fifteen minutes before closing so I didn't have a problem getting a seat but it's a big place so even during rush hours I wouldn't expect there to be much of a wait. The menu was just enormous and I wish I would have spotted this place sooner as it would have been a great joint for breakfast. On the downside it was pretty messy. I got there at 9:45 so I get they were near closing but they still shouldn't have had that many tables waiting to be bussed. read more

This is one of our favorite spots for breakfast, lunch or dinner in Bothell. The menu has a wide variety and the food is excellent. The service is always quick and the staff is very friendly. The tables are nicely spaced, and we like sitting by the fireplace on a cold day. The drinks are good, and they have great pies for dessert. They offer pickup orders too. read more

The tables for 2 and 4 were fast moving and we do understand we were a larger party, but it's still a ridiculously long wait time. Once seated the service was pretty decent. Food: for drinks I ordered the m&m chocolate milk. For entree, I ordered the chicken sandwich/burger with the soup of the day on the side. The soup of the day was a beef barley soup. These chocolate milk was peaked with whipped cream and overall chocolaty deliciousness. The sandwich and soup were delightfully scrumptious. Solid breakfast/lunch place in the Bothell, WA area. It's nothing spectacular and to be honest, i probably won't be back anytime soon. It's not so much as bad food, but nothing was memorable. I went for the fish tacos and the onion rings. Both were cooked well and very tasty. However, was kind of mid in terms of shocking me as this place was off of a recommendation as being a great restaurant. I would say it's a good restaurant If you're unsure of what you want to eat for a day and are between a bunch of things, then come to crystal creek cafe. Crystal creek is one of the more reasonably priced diners in the area. My total bill for a country fried steak with side of veggies was under $20. They do not use hydrogenated oils. I've never had a pimple after eating here. Food quality is better than most diners- always fresh and never over or under seasoned. My friend had told me that a bunch of people were eating sandwiches as we were being escorted to our seat, so we decided to try them out. My friend got the spicy sweet chicken sandwich. It was really good, definitely spicy. I got the reuben and it was really yummy. I haven't had a good reuben in a while. The pastrami, sauerkraut, sourdough bread were perfectly balanced. This has become our ideal breakfast diner after we went to the national passport office in Lake City. My dad and I really enjoyed this place. Be prepared to wait as it is popular especially during Sundays. Food was great frankly speaking. I really appreciate it that we could do half portions which served with 2 sunny side fried eggs. Our black waiter Frank is amazing and courteous. It's not so expensive and the menu options are huge. Our first time here for breakfast and it was yummy! The Biscuits and gravy were plenty of food and really good! I also ordered a side of EXTRA EXTRA crispy bacon. When our server brought out the food, she said that it'll be an extra minute on the bacon because she didn't think it was done as much as I wanted. I really appreciated that, and the bacon came out perfectly! The rest of our group ordered the French toast and chicken tenders. The menu is large and there is something for everyone! The only reason I am giving this experience 4 stars is because they were out of cinnamon rolls and they also had an exhaust issue and were unable to make burgers at the time. The service was prompt with plenty of options to choose from. We ordered vegetable hash with biscuit and eggs , breakfast burrito with a side of pancakes and a side of hash browns. The main items were decent but the pancakes had a strong egg odor! I could not go for a second bite!! My 3 stars were for the same! The vegetable hash was decent but not hot enough. Great food, great service, cool ambiance! They have a regular dining area and a bar side called the Hangar Hall! We sat in the Hangar Hall which is opening seating. The server/bartender was very friendly and personable. We went in the evening for dinner and the menu has sooo many choices to choose from. It's almost overwhelming. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner is served all day. We got a couple drinks, a whiskey mule and a vodka press. For food we got the chicken ranch wrap with sweet potato fries and the Malibu chicken sandwich with baby reds. Amazing! I loved the Malibu chicken sandwich. Very hearty, filling, and satisfying. TLDR: good proportion sizes. Meats are juicy. Dining in is better than ToGo for sandwiches. I ordered delivery. Classic Cubano: came wrapped in parchment paper and the hoagie was sadly soggy from all the meat juice--this sandwich would be better as a dine-in item rather than ToGo. The meat however was really juicy--you kinda have to eat this sandwich with one of those slurp bites, haha. Overall the sandwich tasted great but was really high on the salt spectrum for me with the dijon and pickles and all. Don't get me wrong, it tasted great but I highly recommend getting the fruit as the side to counteract all the salt from this sandwich and a big ol' glass of water or citric juice. The sandwich is also a bit on the small side but is a good proportion. This is a good thing in my opinion--any bigger and it would induce a 3 hour long food coma where you'd also wake up with an unquenchable thirst and feel like a shriveled grape from the salt intake. Corned Beef Hash: soft and moist chunks of beef brisket! None of this dried, shriveled meat that some other places serve. Good stuff! Get your eggs runny and mix in the yolky goodness into the hash! Good proportion size, not too much and not too little--just enough to give you a Happy Belly. If you get the biscuits and gravy as a side, the gravy is packed into a separate container and is bit thick in my opinion. It's not runny at all--it plops like a spoonful of cream. Depends on how you like your gravy consistency. read more
