New management, you really should check them out. I have had hard gel nails for over 20 years now. Jimmy is a true artist. He does amazing work. My nails don't look lumpy or bumpy like they do in shops nearby. He is also excellent with powder gel. I refuse to go anywhere else because I've had terrible experiences with a few shops that are near that one. Very clean shop and kind people that work there. Deep breath first... Between being screamed at, scratched, lied to, and having to ask the woman to move away from my wallet as I pulled out my cash I am in disbelief. Get ready for a story. I am the best woman for my sisters wedding so I had to sample Crystal Nails before sending our entire bridal party and while this was the worst salon experience I am glad the rest of our group does not have to experience this. I will say I came with my aunt who had a lovely experience as she just got clear polish with a different artist. I had Diana Dang. An uncomfortable experience aggressive, rude and she yelled at me several times. First when I asked can you tell me what the manicure includes (she just said "no") and then when I asked her to remove debris from my nails (as she was not wearing gloves). She became even louder when I explained that we can both see the debris and she scratched me and said it was already cleaned. The icing on the cake was going to pay and finding out the price was $15 more but as she started screaming again I just wanted to pay and get out as you can imagine. As I was pulling my card out of my wallet Diana was trying to pull the card out of my wallet. OUT OF MY WALLET! To the point where I had to tell her "excuse me" and take a step back. Again the silver lining is the fact that we will definitely not be subjecting our bridal party to this and as I mentioned my aunts nails came out fine but of course her experience was unfortunately ruined by having to hear her niece be yelled at for over an hour. The place itself is in a nice area. I had the worst experience at this establishment. The product they used to do my nails burned like hell the entire duration of my service and when I told the nail tech i was in pain she brushed it off until I threatened to leave. She was terrible at shaping nails and got frustrated when I asked her to correct her mistakes and make my hands match one another. I finally got fed up and left without even getting the nails polished (i still paid $35 but didn't tip) 2/10 definitely don't recommend wasting your time and money at this shop for bad customer service and pain being inflicted upon you. A nail of mine has broken every day since leaving the shop, as previously mentioned, that day I had to go back due to the gel not being cured after the nail tech had already reapplied twice trying to get it to cure the first time. What a horrible experience. No reusable covers for the soaking tub. When I asked to add paraffin to my deluxe pedi and mani, I was told I didn't have enough time to do it. Why are the covers important you ask? Because the guy ferociously doing my toes cut both the toe and the skin and made me bleed profusely. He didn't know how to handle it, and sunk my foot in the water, several times... he kept apologizing, he stopped the bleeding and insisted I kept going with the service. I did because I was there with a group of ladies. He ended up not doing the deluxe or the paraffin like I had asked. Quickly finished my manicure and sent me my way. read more

I worked for B.O. Cosmo. I went to get my nails done at this particular place Crystal Nails. In the beginning everything went well then when they went to do my pedicure I became outraged and disgusted by the filth. They do not sterilize their implements they use the same file on everyone and you are not supposed to, and they took water from my pedicure tub for me to soak my nails in now I wanted to just puke. That is the most disgusting thing ever so we had them written up for many many things that they are not doing right or following the law and practicing cleanliness and good hygiene when you are working with the public. So beware when you go there. Speak up if you don't see anything right please that is the only way our jobs can get in and do what's right they have another call that will be going in there shortly to see what they are doing Undercover so they better be careful too read more
