Both my daughter and I got pedicures and my daughter also got a manicure, no gel (my daughter is 10). They said they couldn't do a design on her nails cause she wasn't getting gel, they could only use stickers? My pedicure was mediocre, I've never had a tech immediately go in with an electric file. I guess she assumed I had gel on my toenails? I paid for the pamper me pedi, but it felt very basic. The pedicure itself was sloppy. My daughter's pedicure was good. However her manicure chipped in a day. I get that regular polish chips much more quickly than gel, but if they only want to work with gel polish, then they shouldn't offer regular polish. I was disappointed in the end. It felt like we were being penalized for not getting gel. Even though we had an appointment, I felt like we were in the way. I'm so sad, I really thought I had found my nail shop.

Typically, my mani and pedi are done simultaneously by two different ladies. However, I noticed that only one lady was working on me while 4 others just paced around and chatted with each other. At first I thought they might have other clients with appointments coming in soon, but nearly an hour passed and they were still not attending other customers. What could have been a 40 minute visit took twice as long. $65 also felt excessive for regular polish, I've gotten gel polish for that amount at other salons. Customer service was also meh - she seemed annoyed when I asked to swap out the color after testing it on one nail and didn't recommend any additional services like at other salons. What was even more frustrating was that by the evening three of my nails were already chipped! Will not be returning, don't recommend!

Some of the ideas I bring in seem impossible and she still makes them happen every time. The salon is smaller, which I honestly prefer because it feels more relaxed and personal. My best friend and I both come here together and they always accommodate us. One thing I really appreciate is that they do pedicures and manicures at the same time, which has been surprisingly hard to find lately. I totally understand needing to check something occasionally, but it made the experience feel less relaxing and like I had to keep an eye on things to make sure nothing was missed. After I left, I noticed the pink shades used for my French tips don't match, one foot is a cooler pink (which was the intended color) and the other is noticeably warmer. It's a small detail, but for a $75 gel French pedicure, I would expect consistency.
